The Right Choice Heating & Air

AC was repaired timely and professionally by Tommy and his helper and then Juan and Edgar followed up two days later by installing blown in cellulose insulation in my attic to help ensure the efficient operation of my HVAC system. It's been hellaciously hot this past couple of weeks, yet these guys all did a bang up job, despite the heat. Fair price, professional, personable and efficient service. I would definitely recommend The Right Choice Heating and Air team to friends and neighbors!

Michael M, the technician came to my house to check the system.They went up to the attic for a quick check up. The furnace, insulation and ducts are in a great condition. My system is 13 years old but still running great. He spent 2 hours with us to explain how to use the system, and also replaced 2 (dusty!) regular filters to an electro static filters, for a small charge. We also decided to install an air scrubber, for a clean air. We highly reccomend this guys, thank you Michael!

Terribly. Rubin came out, and never even opened the unit. He insisted it's the wrong size and immediately started trying to sell my wife a larger (expensive) unit. I called another company and 2 days later they came out, opened the unit, and found a big refrigerant leak. If The Right Choice had just opened it and looked around they would have seen this. Instead we paid $40 for the inspection and had to pay again for someone else to come take a look. Shady shady shady. I also contacted their office for a refund and was told I'd get a call back on Monday for processing and it's Tuesday night and I've heard nothing. Seems like a scam. If they would at least refund what they charged me I might change this review to something not quite as bad. As is this is pretty upsetting.

The AC guys came into my house to clean my ducts and i explained to them that i had allergies and they showed me a product that can help- Adir installed it within 5 minutes and I already feel the difference in my breathing! Strongly recommended !

The Right Choice did such an impressive job that I called them back to come do the duct cleaning at my hair salon ! They found a hole on the floor of my air conditioner on the roof and patched it up and cleaned my cooling coil ! Great Job Adir and Felipe!!

My neighbor was having an AC unit installed in his home. I spoke to the installer who was very nice and professional, but told me a company rep would have to make the arrangements for my actual installation. I met with the rep a couple of days later. He asked me the size of my home. I told him it was just over 1400 sq. ft. He looked at my old heating unit and said it didn't need to be replaced. I told him this unit was over 8 years old. A review of the original installers paper shows it was installed in August 2003. The unit booklet is a PAYNE model PG8J?PG8M. I asked if I could get a programmable thermostat for each room. His reply was no it wasn't necessary and my old unit was fine. I told him my old thermostat was hard for me to read, so he agreed to putting a new simply one in with large numbers. He had the new AC unit installed the very next day. No one ever came out to review the work done by their installers. After complaining about the charges the installer sent me a break down of what work they say was done. They are; Asbestos removal, install new 3 ton up flow coil in closet, new 3 ton 14 seer condenser, run high voltage from panel to condenser, materials, blow in insulation (R-30), and new UV light. The models installed are Goodman GSX140371KB and Aspen refrigerant evaporator CE36D44175L004. They only agreed to taking $50 off the agreed price and the price I paid was normal for my area. I did not take the $50 deduction. It took me so long to write this because I was so ashamed of allowing them to what I believe of taking advance of me. Feel free to contact me for any additional information or if you like to see the work preformed by this company. Please let me know if you feel my view is not a fair one and why. I did like the staff who did the actual work. I'm retired and recently widowed.

The first unit they attempted to install was defective and they had to reschedule a return visit During the installation of the 2nd unit, they determined that the floor the unit sits on had to be replaced. Why this was not realized at the time the unit was inspect for the quote or when the 1st unit was to be install is beyond me. When the 2nd unit was installed, without informing my mother, they replaced her digital, programmable thermostat with a entry level, single temp thermostat. The day after the 2nd unit was installed (Friday) the heating unit was running nonstop and could not be turned off by the thermostat. My mothers only way to keep her home habitable was to run the AC. When my mother was able to speak to Right Choice, they were not able to schedule a tech to come out to resolve the issue. She would have to wait till Monday to see when they could get a tech out. Prior to the tech returning to fix the runaway heater, the city inspector came to see the new heater and to check the permits. Right Choice had not provided copies of the permits to my mother. They did fax them to the Park manager. When the park manager came to let my mother know he received the faxed permits, he noticed a gas leak coming from the heater. Using soapy water he discovered a small gas leak in the flex gas line. He also saw Right Choice had left the old heating unit laying in the grass in my mothers back yard. In the end, Right Choice has resolved all the issues, however it was an unduly and totally avoidable stressful situation for my recently widowed 80 year old mother. She was forced to make ongoing calls to Right Choice, got lucky in that the park manager found both the leak and old unit ( my mother is not very mobile) laying in the grass. Prior to writing this review, I emailed Right Choice (via their web site) to give them the opportunity to provide me their understanding of what happened. They did not return my request

Adir and phelipe came precisely on time and provided an unbelievable service. They did a deep cleaning For both of my furnaces and replaced all of our filters. Very polite and respectful. Me and my husband were extremely happy with the service. We highly recommend the right choice.

They came twice to my place. In the first time I got a detailed explanation about what's needed to be done and in the second time they did it.

Everything went as planned. Initial planning was made very simple and their help in financing the project through the HERO program cinched the deal. The work crews were all very polite, highly experience and efficient. The customer service is superior and made completion of the project much easier because of it. The HVAC system is awesome and we expect it will many years of comfort.

At first I was scared they would be another air conditioner company that will try to scam us, but they were so knowledgable and didn't try to sell us anything! Adir and Felipe did a duct cleaning and a deep blower cleaning and were so professional. Definitely made the right choice !

It was okay and they left. That was fine. I didn't incur extra charges. They just looked at the system and it was working by the time they came out. They didn't find anything. I didn't wait long for them. They didn't do anything wrong.

The Right Choice was very professional and provided the yearly maintenance on my heating and A\C systems even cleaned my air ducts as part of the service. I will be using them again. The tech that came was very friendly and answered all my questions I had. the service took about an hour and they were on there way and they worked around my schedule. I even got a follow up call on the service.
