Frank & his team at property health are stellar. I was luck enough to be introduced to him from a referral. Im a realtor and needed a second opinion on a moisture issue we had in my clients home that they were in escrow on. Frank showed up on time, diagnosed the problem quickly, actually recommended minor repairs to be done and insured us the "asbestos" issue was a non issue. Where other contractors or mold remediators would have gladly told us were screwed and charged us an arm and a leg, we got a fair quote from Frank and fixed the issue that same week! Let me start with this: if every business were run the way that Frank ran Property Health, the world would have no complaints about anything. We needed to get some work done on our floors at our 3k sf gym facility, and realized we needed to test for asbestos before removing any adhesive or tile. We were in a mad rush to get this all done before the holidays were over, so I contacted Frank on WEDNESDAY NIGHT before Thanksgiving, expecting a reply the next week at the earliest. He responded THAT EVENING, and we actually booked an appointment the morning immediately after Thanksgiving. It's not so much the testing that I'm grateful for - it's the amount of education that Frank provided me after my BARRAGE of constant emails and texts - "is this black mastic? what should I be concerned about here? what is this yellow stuff?" it didn't matter the time - he was responding Thanksgiving evening at midnight, Friday afternoon after his inspection, Saturday in the evening (admittedly, I'm a bit obsessive and start rapid firing questions, so I'm not exactly the best customer). Again, this is the BEST service I've ever received in ANYTHING. I'm grateful for Frank's care and passion as a business owner and for serving us so faithfully. We need more Franks in all of our lives.

Frank was very professional, responsive, and skilled. The report was thorough and understandible. The only negative in the transaction was that it took longer than expected to compile the report, but it was not excessive and I definitely would recommend him (and will use again if we need additional hazard analysis done).

I was on a tight deadline because of a commitment I'd made about window installation, & Frank came out on a few hours' notice . He's extremely knowledgeable, to the point that he apparently helped write current lead-testing regulations; I think he said he'd been doing this for 30+ years. He also has the magic, $20,000 gun that instantly gives lead readings, & is the only approved tool for doing so. Frank made excellent recommendations that balanced safety & pragmatism in having the windows replaced. He's also very personable, which you might not expect in a lead-testing person. I'd definitely use him again, & have high confidence in his findings & advice.

I just brought a house that's built in 1968 and in the process of an extensive interior renovation. Many of the rooms in the house have popcorn ceiling. My husband and I don't like the old fashioned look of it and want to replace it with nice smooth ceilings. We had no idea that popcorn ceilings may contain asbestos so gave the contractors permission to start getting rid of the stuff. Imagine my shock and horror when the seller popped by one day and recommended that we get it checked out for asbestos. As some of the popcorn ceiling has already been removed, I was afraid that the house may already be contaminated so frantically looked for someone to get it tested. That same night, I went on Angie's List and found several asbestos testing companies. I emailed all of them to inquire about their services and costs. Frank Najafi from Aardvark Property Hazard Analysis was the first to call me back the next morning. He was so polite and professional. He explained the process and cost and told me he could come out right away. Although I also go quotes from the other companies, I felt more comfortable with Frank and decided to go with him. I'm glad I did! The whole process was a breeze. Frank came to my house at the agreed upon time and took three samples of the ceiling from different areas of the house. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and just a pleasure to talk to. I couldn've have picked a better person to help me through this process. He indicated that the material would be sent to the lab the same day and I would get the results the following day. He will email me the invoice as well as the lab results. Sure enough, I got the results the next afternoon. Thank goodness no asbestos was detected in the samples. I highly recommend Frank Najafi at Aardvark if you need asbestos testing (or other types of hazardous materials testing as I think he does those too).

We had an extremely positive experience with the lead detection work carried out by Mr. Najafi. Frank was puntual, very polite and friendly, which is always refreshing and not always the case with contractors or inspectors, he also had a sense of humor! We found Frank to be extremely knowlegeable about environmental hazards in general (not limited to lead). What we found outstanding was his willingness to answer all our basic questions with great patience and friendliness, explaining in layperson's terms highly scientific concepts. He also offered specific recommendations, which went beyond the mere analytic work that we had commissioned him to do. Frank likes kids and did an even more exceptional job in our son's bedroom and play areas. In short, we highly recommend the services of Aardvark for lead and environmental testing, you get outstanding service at a fair price.

Frank Najafi of AARDVARK Property Hazard Analysis, Co. came to my house to test for asbestos in old linoleum flooring and to test for lead in old paint--the home was built in 1940. I cannot speak to his regular rates as he very generously donated his time and services to me as part of a very unique philanthropic program--Angie's List Wishmaker Program--that Angie's List offers to a select number of families in need. Frank is very professional. He set up an appointment and it was very easy to schedule with him. He is easy to contact via both phone and e-mail. He was very prompt. He is easy to work with and talk to about concerns. It is not fun to think about the possibility of having asbestos and/or lead issues in an old home. He put my mind at ease and went to work collecting a wide array of samples throughout my home. He always asked if it was okay to do something. He did not proceed without my approval. He came to my house on a Saturday and contacted me early Tuesday with the results. Fast indeed! He is a top-notch Certified Lead Paint Consultant and Certified Asbestos Consultant. He is also really friendly and will answer all of your questions and explain any processes you might need to have done. I would HIGHLY recommend Frank Najafi to anyone who needs or wants to have these tests taken and I would not hesitate to use him again in the future.
