The work turned out good. The installer did a great job and they were on time.

The Progressive crew was prompt, courteous and efficient. Finished the job that involved two separate attic sections in less than half a day, and cleaned up nicely after.they finished. The house has been much cooler since the work was done, a real benefit in the recent 100 degree weather.

The guy simply didn't come at the appointment date. I gave them 'D' acknowledging the fact that they called me to confirm the appointment. So, it's not that there was a confusion/ miscommunication regarding time and date.

From the start they responded quickly, worked around my schedule and were very helpful when I had questions. The estimator and crew were very professional and I was especially happy they were able to finish everything in one day. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

The Progressive crew (from estimator to installers) were prompt, courteous and professional. The installation crew did a good job of protecting the areas where their hoses ran through the house, finished the insulation in a timely manner, and did a thorough clean-up before they left. My contractor who installed my central air heating and A/C said Progressive did a very nice job on the insulation. I would highly recommend them.

Our salesperson, Dwayne, was a pleasure to work with as he made the entire process very smooth from start to finish. It was nice that Dwayne was our point person throughout the process. He was prompt with providing revised estimates for different options. He was also patient and thorough in answering my questions. Dwayne had excellent follow-up and “checked-in” with us throughout the process. I also liked that I was able to communicate with Dwayne via email. Mike did a great job with scheduling the delivery of our trim pieces for the windows and also scheduling the actual installation. The installation was completed by Joe, Pedro, George, and Ismail. They were friendly and completed the job quickly. They showed up on time and cleaned up each day. Overall, they did a nice job and I would recommend them.

From the first visit by the salesman/estimator, Sam, to the final phase of installation by the four extremely capable installers, including conversations with the production scheduler, Mike, our experience was incredibly positive. Sam took a great deal of care and time to understand our needs and to explain our product options. He provided detail of the timing of the process and what we could expect, including a lifetime guarantee of the products. The windows and doors took about 6 weeks to come in after placing the order. We were informed that the installation would take three days. On the first day of installation, four very polite, pleasant and efficient men showed up. They carefully laid down drop cloths to protect our floors. On the first day, they removed the old aluminum windows/doors and placed the new ones, so that we were not left with any opening uncovered. The next two days were devoted to the detail work: caulking and sealing, placing the frames and molding around the windows, cleaning everything and installing the screens. Their attention to detail was remarkable, and they took care to make sure everything functioned as it should. We were very impressed with the installers' work ethic and courtesy and the outcomes are wonderful. We love our new windows and doors. We had our city inspector out, and he even remarked that he had never seen such a good job of sealing. Our house is now so much quieter, and it is a pleasure to look out our windows. We had them install three French rail sliding doors, and one regular slider, and they are beautiful. The Amerimax windows are first rate, and we couldn't be happier with our experience with Progressive--they did everything they promised. A week after they finished, we asked them to come out and make a couple of adjustments, which they did with no charge. We recommend Progressive Insulation & Windows without reservation!

Gary was very patient, accommodating and responsive as we reviewed our many options and asked for revisions. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. We were very pleased to have a couple of great options. We will definitely consider and recommend Progressive for many future projects.

This was a replacement windows project. The price was extremely reasonable. Although we didn't choose the top of the line, the quality is excellent. They have come out twice for minor adjustments and were prompt and friendly about it. It was a large project for us and I was braced for some stress over it but the entire project was smooth and problem-free.

I gotten a quote from Progressive back in November of 2012. I called Progressive the week of September 23 and told them I wanted to go ahead with several of the items that had been quoted. It should be told that the quote of 11/12 had been broken down to steps so that I would be able to pick and choose what I wanted to do and how much I wanted to spend, versus one bid for the entire project. I was impressed then. My favorable attitude continued this year when first, I was assured they would hold to the quoted prices I had been given, and a few days after my call, a visit was again made again to my home. We went over the various options and I decided to go for the insulation in the Attic and the South facing wall which caused two of my bedrooms to be extremely uncomfortable even at night and even though I had put in a brand new air conditioning system @1 year ago. I was able to get the work performed that weekend because of a cancellation! They kept me informed as promised. The workers arrived right on time, went to work, were thorough, friendly, professional and all in all it went wonderfully well with results that were immediate and above my expectations, which is saying something. A very minor concern was addressed immediately with a house visit. Appropriate paperwork for submission for a rebate was forthcoming and a follow up call was made to me to be sure all of my concerns and needs were addressed properly.

The company accepted their responsibility for the miscalculation for the estimate and gave us the difference for the energy efficiency rebate! Their responsiveness was grade A, I would definitely recommend them to all my neighbors!!

Received Progressive's name as a referral from my brother. Receptionist was very courteous on the phone. Dwayne called back the same day to set up a consult appt. He came to our house and showed us pictures of the choices we had. He measured the windows and explained what type of windows we had to have to be up to code. He got back to us with an estimate within a few days. We also had another estimate done by another very popular advertised place. OMG - talk about a sales pitch. The guy brought in 2 full suitcases of stuff to show us, kept pushing to make the sale - even treated it like he was selling us a car by saying he would talk to his manager and get us a special one time offer. We finally kicked him out - after we saw his estimate of TWICE as much as Progressive. So, back to Progressive. They were awesome in every way possible. They went to the Burbank City office and obtained and paid for the permits they would need. They arranged for a before and after inspection (Burbank requires). On the day of the installation, there were 4 guys who were prompt and ready. They took out the old windows, prepped the area for the new windows, installed the new windows, filled in any gaps (due to the old windows being so worn), touched up the paint, sealed them and were so careful and meticulous with the whole installation. The lead guy then took us around to see everything and show us the features that came with the windows - how to keep open but still be securely locked - how to clean the windows and basic care. The whole process took about 7-8 hours - but they were so courteous and worked hard. We are so very pleased with the job they did. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants great, no pressure sales and beautiful workmenship done in their home.

Some insulation 'providers' do not offer to come out and inspect your attic PRIOR to their arrival I discovered as I was making preliminary calls. Typically, I expect it is because the companies pay 3rd party salesmen for this service, and these personnel may cover a wide area, making turnaround a bit slower. Regardless, I was happy to receive a visit from Gary Stephenson who I learned is relatively new with Progressive, and may be an independent contractor. I received a call back from the owner, Steve Anderson, within a hour of my initial call. We spent about 20 to 30 minutes talking 'options' to consider a complete 'energy upgrade CA assessment with Gary included in the phone conversation. I appreciated Gary's style in sharing Progressive's services without overly hyping how I might profit from a complete energy assessment. He checked out the attic, did his measuring, and promptly emailed me a quote. I appreciated the ability to converse with him electronically with a couple of questions prior to submission of final contract -- very effective and timely. The contract was complete to include appropriate baffling at eve vents, installing heat source barriers with fiberglass batts insulation, and weather strip attic access point, incluuding covering an old vent penetration at the pantry. A team of three arrived on time. Because of a cable that runs through the tree, across our driveway to the house, they were unable to park the large, tall truck in the driveway, but adapted by parking on the side street. There was a slight break in the proceedings when the flow of air was interrupted <operator error>, and they had to clear the duct carrying the cellulose. However work resumed within 10 to 15 min. Only one of the three persons blows the cellulose after all the prep work is done. I was relieved they were able to reconnect a loose wire that had disabled the doorbell. I was glad I was there to notice it had stopped working when it rang umprompted from the door. Although the contract included installing attic rulers, I haven't been up there since the cellulose has settled. I am not sure any were included. Also the contract mentioned "Confirming bag count with customer upon completion", I did not ask for, nor receive the bag count. Also, I did need to remind the primary installer about the batting that needed to be considered around the air conditioner/furnice unit which resides in a hall closet. Some of the cellulose did leak a little into this closet, but it was minor. Thank goodness I reminded him. Overall, I trust that they used all the cellulose indicated in the contract, because the improvement to our home was noticable the following day -- money well spent -- a company well organized and dependable !

I needed to make my house and especially the bedroom cooler since it is at the West end of the house and gets all of the afternoon sun. They put in five new windows. I researched the brand of windows they recommended using and they have a good reputation and a life time guarantee. The guys came on time. They were very clean. They put the windows in without any need to touch up any of the wood sills. The windows are fantastic. I can open 2 of them and they are so easy to operate. Now with my new insulation ( also from Progressive), my house if much cooler I can sleep at night without any air conditioning or fans. It was well worth the money. The sales person who came and talked to me was very helpful in making the decision about the windows and he was always available when I needed questions answered. All of the people I spoke with at Progressive in the office as well as the workman were always polite, helpful, and professional.

I chose Progressive after I did research about types of insulation and the best way to have insulation installed. I read that if you put new insulation on top of old insulation it renders the new insulation less effective. Other companies were much cheaper but they did not offer the same service. The salesman was very helpful and worked on me with pricing the job. He offered alternatives that saved me money. Progressive took out all the old insulation, vacuumed out the attic, sealed the attic and then blew in new high quality insulation. They also put insulation in the wall from the outside of the house that faces the West which gets the most amount of sun. After the job was completed, I noticed that the guys who had worked very hard, missed a couple of spots. The company came out right away and took care of it. They men took great care in making sure that my house stayed clean throughout the insulation. I can feel the difference in the temperature of my house which at night had not cooled significantly. Now my house is so much cooler and I am using my air conditioner less. This is saving me money.

I called Progressive on Thursday and they were able to right away accommodate to my schedule by sending a sales rep the following day. Eddie showed up early and was really attentive. He evaluated the scope of the work (the house is down to the studs right now), took measurements, answered all of my questions, and was able to give me pricing before he left. He was very easy going and really nice. I was given three pricing options as requested depending on what insulation I decided to install. I have been looking at a particular brand of batt insulation, ROXUL which is not commonly used so Eddie followed through with making the necessary arrangements to speak with his supplier to change the three week lead time to one week if I decided to go with using ROXUL brand insulation throughout my home. I had received two other bids and found Progressive's estimate equally competitive. My experience was very positive but because our home is undergoing a full renovation, at this time we think it might be best to move forward with a general contractor.

Generally, this went very well. They showed up a few minutes early to get their equipment ready, went right to work on time, worked efficiently... great. Only problem was that in the process they apparently kicked loose a wire for the doorbell (at least it worked when they arrived, and didn't when they left). The installers had no electrical skills, so we settled on a reduction of the overall price at about my estimate of an electricians charge to repair the bell.

On time. This was an older house so there were surprises regarding access--but they solved for them as best they could. I was pleased with their approach and the outcome.

Very professional crew, and a reasonable price for all of the work. They even helped me process an energy rebate for the work. I just wish that I had this done earlier.
