Progressive Insulation & Windows

All windows were installed professionally by three workmen employed by Progressive. Installation took approx 5 hours including trim and painting of finish work. Very comfortable with the installers in the house, and they did an excellent installation job and clean up.

I called to see if they worked in my area. They don't. Then I asked if I could still receive their package about window replacement. It arrived the very next day.

They did a nice job and I like them very much. The thing that I like the best was that there were no subcontractors and I like that. I was impressed with everything that they did.

I felt that they were very knowledgeable in their work and knew their trade. I was very impressed with the outcome that they provided me.

Overall, the way that they handle things was great. They were very professional and worked continuously. They did an excellent job and I was very pleased. They are very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions.

For such a large job, it went smoothly. Within about a week all work was done. Crew and foreman were respectful and had us approve various issues that arose. Windows were removed and replaced in succession so that the house was never left "open" at the end of the day. They then stuccoed around the new frames. In some areas they did not stucco and used wood instead as the space they said was too small for stucco--we feel the use of wood could have been done better. But the windows, doors and all other stucco work is excellent.

The installation was amazing! I was told the job would take 2-3 days. The installers were on time and very professional. We went through the house and verified what would be done to each window, and I went over some additional requirements I had (mostly having to do with making sure my three indoor cats didn't get out, since windows were being removed from every room of the house). Ismael (the lead installer) and I worked out a plan for dealing with the cats throughout the installation process. The installers were all very careful about following this plan, as well as protecting my furniture and other belongings with plastic sheeting, carpet runners, etc. They finished in two days. Any tiny holes they made in the plaster around the windows were patched. They cleaned up after themselves, and showed me how to operate all the features of each window. They did a beautiful job. The windows, the exterior trim, and the interior wood trim all look great and operate very smoothly.

Even though they were really busy, they went out of their way to schedule an estimate quickly to accommodate our schedule. Their representative, Chuck Suarez, was prompt, courteous, professional, and well-informed. He left a full contract, and there was no high-pressure sales pitch. If they had used a vinyl interior molding instead of wood, I would have chosen this company for their outstanding service.

A representative came out, gave me an estimate for all 10 windows in the house. I opted to just have 5 windows done (all 10 would have been about $5000). A week or two later, another guy came out to do a final measuring, which took 5 minutes. I scheduled for a Saturday installation time so I could be home when they came. It was probably 3 or so weeks later. Weekends are typically busy, I guess. 5 or 6 guys came, and in 3 or so hours did all 5 windows. They had me check out each finished window, explained operation, etc. Very professional. I will have them back to complete the house sometime down the road.

The three workers spent four days working. They were punctual and polite. However, they did not clean up as well as I expected.

Contacted 4 companies for window bids. Chuck Suarez, the Progressive sales rep., gave me honest information, a great price and even met me at his mom's house in Glendale so I could see the windows he was recommending actually installed, vs. having to drive from Pasadena to Chatsworth. The office staff is pleasant and in frequent contact the process. The windows were installed yesterday by Jose, Porfidio and another team member. They were on time, courteous, fast and cleaned up after everything. The windows look great, passed their first rain, and my HVAC system hasn't run all day. I can't recommend these guys highly enough! I also had the same positive experience with an attic insulation install in December. Don't hesitate to call them!

This company was referred to us by our general contractor in charge of foundation and framing when he discovered that we were planning to put in the insulation ourselves. He insisted that their quote would be less then we could buy the material for and he was right. We have been very impressed with them so far. They have been incredibly efficient. They quoted us within in 48 hours of our call. We signed a contract with them two months ago and let them know that it would be awhile before we needed them. They just called to check in and see how our construction was coming along. It was really nice to have a follow-up call and it makes me feel confident that are on top of things. They said it would take a day to install everything and I am looking forward to the installation as it will mean that our other interior wall issues are completed.

They were totally professional and friendly from start to finish. Meticulous work was done and they have fair pricing. These guys take pride in their family-owned business. While the windows are not the most attractive (kind of tract home-looking), they have totally solved my noise problem and arrived earlier than expected!

Jose and Ismael were absolutely wonderful. They were professional, polite and courteous. My windows look great! I intend to have additional windows replaced by Progressive later this year.

Absolutely terrific. I couldn't ask for a better experience. I liked Progressive so much, I've ordered 4 windows from them. I'll post a report on the windows after they are installed. I recommend Progressive Insulation Services to anyone who wants a professional job, courteous workers, and overall superb customer service.

Bob the Door guy said he wasn't sure if he could install a door for me using my current hardware, he would check. He called the next day and told me the door I wanted (Tm Cobb) did not come w/ side lites (I knew that you could get plain side lites from this company). I asked him about the hardware, he said it wasn't their policy so I wasn't sure why he was even calling me back since he knew I wanted to use my own hardware. I assumed we were done, however, George called later that day to set up an appointment, not knowing about my experience w/ Bob. I told him and he said they could use my hardware, etc. He made an appointment w/ me for the next day and never showed or called.

Company was prompt to return my call to set-up an appointment for an estimate to replace all the windows in my house. The sales rep that came was terrific in explaining their products, asking about my needs etc. He determined an estimate and told me he would follow-up with formal document which he would mail. He did and it arrived in a few days. The bid was in line with others I had received. It was a hard call but in the end I went with another outfit. I purchased my windows from a more local vendor to me and used a contractor who also did other work on my house at the same time.

When it was time to schedule delivery, their scheduling department was very efficient in scheduling and being on time. After the fact, we have asked for them to do a follow up install on a door and window to keep contractor on schedule. Will report on that later.

The job performed was fine and we have no complaints. They showed up on time and did the work pretty quickly. They provided a pretty fair price for 2200 square feet.

Progressive was first-class all the way and a pleasure to deal with. Excellent advice by salesman Robert, prompt measurement appointment, product delivered ahead of schedule. Installation was wonderful, beautiful job, neat, on time, and done by professionals. Ismael, Joe, and Dino did a terrific job. Would definitely recommend Progressive for windows. Quality of the windows is excellent, and I really feel that I got what I paid for with Progressive in terms of quality and service.

SALESPERSON WHO CAME TO PROVIDE IN-HOME ESTIMATE WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE AND PROVIDED GOOD FEEDBACK ON CURRENT INSULATION AND WINDOW REPLACEMENT REQUIREMENTS. INSTALLERS CAME AND PERFORMED INSTALLATION ON DATE SCHEDULED AND FINISHED WITHIN ONE WORKING DAY.

FROM THE BEGINNING TO THE END THE EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT. VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE SALESMAN. THE WORK WAS COMPLETED IN A ONE-DAY TIME PERIOD. THEY CLEANED UP ANY MESS THAT WAS MADE &, EXCEPT FOR HAVING NEW WINDOWS, YOU WOULD NEVER KNOW THEY HAD BEEN THERE.

WE WERE VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE. THEY SENT A VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE SALESPERSON TO OUR HOUSE. HE SHOWED US OUR OPTIONS & GAVE US A VERY FAIR PRICE. ONCE THE WINDOWS WERE ORDERED, THE INSTALLATION WAS SCHEDULED. WE HAD NEW WINDOWS IN 3 WEEKS! THE INSTALLATION TOOK ABOUT 6 HOURS & WHEN THE WORKMEN LEFT, OUR HOUSE LOOKED GREAT. THE INSTALLERS VACUUMED UP ALL THEIR MESS & HAD WIPED THE FINGERPRINTS OFF OF THE NEW WINDOWS! THE WINDOWS HAVE MADE A HUGE DIFFERENCE IN THE TEMPERATURE IN OUR HOUSE.

VERY, VERY HAPPY WITH MY NEW WINDOWS.

WHEN I GOT THEM IN, THE FIRST WINDOW THEY DID A GOOD JOB, SO THAT'S HOW THEY DID THE SECOND WINDOW. THEIR PRICE WAS REALLY GOOD. THEY QUOTED THE RIGHT PRICE AND IT WAS REALLY ON TIME.
