Orkin Pest Control

Since I had referenced Orkin through Angie's List, I had expected better. I hired another company, also through Angie's List, and obtained excellent service.

They arrived on time. They attended our HOA meeting giving clear instructions on how to prepare. They completed the whole project over the weekend so we could return to the building Monday afternoon. They also resolved some last minute access issues. Overall very happy with their service. They made am inconvienient process easy to put up with.

The representative came late, but at least called to say he was running behind. He did a thorough check of our interior, crawlspace and attic. He found evidence of some subterranean termites at a couple of locations in the crawlspace, but no wood damage yet. He nevertheless prepared an estimate for a complete treatment of the crawlspace area that ran to over $5000! While we take termites and the damage they can cause seriously, this struck us as a ludicrous, almost criminal, amount of money to ask for when there was minimal evidence of termite activity and their work would be entirely preventative.

They have done other jobs for us and the same technicians have come out every time for the past eight years. They are a great company and are better than the other pest control companies that I have used in the past. He shows up on time and keeps the bugs away. We pay every two months.

They are very good and detailed and they do a complete evaluation on my home. The technicians are pleasant, they show up when they are supposed to and if there are any existing problems they will let me know and tell me what needs to be done. Orkin is well respected and I like their service.

WE USE THIS SERVICE MONTHLY, ORKIN ALWAYS STANDS BY THE SERVICE AGREEMENT & WILL RESPOND TO OUR CALLS AT ANY TIME. WE HAVE USED THIS COMPANY FOR SEVERAL YEARS.

THEY DO CALL THE DAY BEFORE TO ASK IF THERE ARE UNUSUAL PROBLEMS SO THAT THE TECH IS PREPARED. THEY SPRAY ALL AREAS, EVEN BEHIND THE PATIO FURNITURE. THE JOB IS VERY COMPLETE.

I HAVE USED ORKIN FOR THE PAST FIVE YEARS AND AM VERY HAPPY WITH THEM. I HAVE RECOMMENDED THEM TO NEIGHBORS WHO ARE ALSO HAPPY WITH THEIR SERVICE. THE TECH LISTENS TO MY SPECIAL REQUESTS, AND TAKES SPECIAL CARE TO RESOLVE PROBLEMS.

THEY COME ONCE A MONTH AND SPRAY THE OUTSIDE OF OUR HOUSE. THEY ALWAYS ASK IF WE HAVE ANY PROBLEMS AND COME RIGHT AWAY IF WE DO. THEY ALSO KILL RATS AND MICE.

SINCE WE HIRED THEM, WE HAVE YET TO BE ATTACKED BY ANTS. WE IN FACT HAVE HAD ZERO INSECT PROBLEMS SINCE THEY STARTED. WE'VE BEEN USING THEM FOR SIX YEARS NOW. THEY'RE ENTIRELY PROFESSIONAL. THEY CALL IN ADVANCE. THEY'RE HERE WHEN THEY SAY THEY'RE GOING TO BE HERE, AND DO AN OUTSTANDING JOB.

THEY DID A GOOD JOB. WE HAVEN'T BEEN BOTHERED WITH ANY TERMITES SINCE THEY CAME OUT AND EXTERMINATED. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY CAME WHEN SCHEDULED. THEY CLEAN UP WELL.

THE GENTLEMAN THAT THEY HAVE HANDLING OUR ACCOUNT IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST. HE WAS ALWAYS VERY PLEASANT, POLITE AND A CARING PERSON. HE CAME WHENEVER WE NEEDED HIM. HE'S JUST VERY FRIENDLY AND A GREAT GUY. THEY'VE BEEN GREAT. WE HAVEN'T HAD ANY PROBLEMS. OUR EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN VERY GOOD.

THEY ARE AVERAGE. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THEM. THEY ARE NOT BAD ENOUGH FOR ME TO GO OUT AND FIND SOMEONE ELSE. THE EXTERMINATING BUSINESS IN CALIFORNIA IS A TOUGH BUSINESS TO BE IN.

THEY ARE GOOD. THE SAME TECHNICIANS COME EACH TIME. THEY CALL EACH TIME, BUT YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE HOME. THEY SPRAY AND I DON'T HAVE BUGS. HE SEEMS TO KNOW WHAT HE IS DOING AND I HAVE HAD THE SAME TECHNICIAN FOR A LONG TIME.

WE HAVE BEEN VERY PLEASED WITH ORKIN PEST CONTROL AND HAVE NOTICED A REDUCTION IN SPIDERS AND ANTS ON OUR PROPERTY. THIS IS THE THIRD PEST CONTROL COMPANY WE HAVE USED IN 5 YEARS AND SO FAR IT IS THE BEST. THEY CALL A DAY OR SO BEFORE THEY COME OUT FOR SERVICE TO FIND OUT IF WE ARE EXPERIENCING ANY PROBLEMS. THEY SHOW UP ON TIME AND DO A THOUROUGH JOB. THE TECHNICIANS SEEM KNOWLEDGEABLE AND ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL.

THEY SPRAY FOR BUGS. WE DON'T HAVE BUGS. THEY CALL, AND TELL US THE NIGHT BEFORE, AND THEN THEY JUST COME. THEY ARE PROFESSIONAL. THEY SHOW UP WHEN THEY SAY THEY ARE GOING TO.

IT WAS GOOD. THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME, THEY DID THEIR JOB. NO PROBLEMS. THE GUY DID A GOOD JOB AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING THAT HE DID AND HE WAS HELPFUL AND COURTEOUS.

THEY DUST THE WOODEN RAFTERS. THEY ARE VERY DEPENDABLE, VERY PLEASANT, THEY DO THEIR JOB, AND WE PAY THEM. THEIR WORKERS ARE FINE. ALWAYS COURTEOUS, AND POLITE.

WHEN THEY COME TO SELL IT AT YOUR DOOR THEY GIVE YOU THE WHOLE SALES ROUTINE ABOUT HOW YOUR WHOLE YARD IS COVERED AND IF YOU FIND ANY PROBLEMS A FEW YARDS FOR THE HOUSE THEY SAY "OH THAT'S COMMON IN YOUR AREA". WHEN THEY COME, THEY SHOULD KNOCK ON THE DOOR; THEY JUST LEAVE A BILL AND THEY DON'Y ASK IF I'VE HAD ANY PROBLEMS. THEY COME EVERY TWO MONTHS. THEY ARE NOT VERY PRO-ACTIVE ABOUT WHAT KIND OF PROBLEMS I'VE BEEN HAVING.
