Next Door Home Upgrades recently installed our solar panels. From the beginning of the construction to the end, they have been professional, prompt, and efficient in their job. I have had an excellent experience working with Johnny Rhee and his team at Next Door. Johnny really stepped up and helped me out quite a bit when the HOA in my neighborhood was being overly stubborn in the approval process. He maintained a professional attitude throughout the several months long ordeal as he patiently and thoroughly explained away all of the membersâ concerns and we eventually got the panels approved. After that, it was smooth sailing and the panels were installed, and now Iâ m saving loads of money from the electric utility business. He also remembered to hit me up a year later, as I requested, to help with sending someone to clean up the panels for a very reasonable fee. The teams that have come to my place have always been very friendly and professional.

Next Door installed my solar and I have had no problems with the installation over the last few years. They also added a cool fan in my attic and renovated my roof at that time and there have been no issues even with the increased rain this past winter. They are always quick to respond to any call, text or inquiry and they just cleaned my solar panels for next to nothing. Love these guys. They are the best.

The Next Door Solar Team and each individual member (Johnny, Sam and Josh) were extremely knowledgeable, helpful, punctual and involved during the entire process of installing my solar panels and renovating other portions of my house. The knowledge and help Sam at Next Door Solar gave us finally convinced me that we did not need to wait any longer to start saving on our LADWP bill. Sam explained in clear and abundant terms how much we would save off our huge electric bills. With our family and two story, 200 ohm house it now made sense to use the improved efficiency solar panels, low financing, clear access roof tops to the sun's energy and use of rebates (gas company and electric). Knowledgeable and helpful every step of the way, accurate information for setting up the financing, rebates, how the job would progress, when to expect visits from LADWP inspector and the meter installer; Staying in touch to explain keeping tract of the savings after all has been set up is the icing on the cake! Again, Sam and Johnny, who run NextDoor, planned and executed the entire job so smoothly. Along with the electricians and amazing installation crew, 22 panels (including all the additional work) was set up on the second story and garage in less than a day! All was done as promised! The customer service before and after the job was OUTSTANDING! Alon and Josh sealed the deal! I was impressed and my wife couldn't be happier!...Talk about all stars, Big Five!

Johnny and his team were amazing. I had a special situation that fell outside of their normal offerings and most companies wouldn't help me. When I explained the situation with Johnny, after some consideration he decided to help me and gave me a very fair price. His team was very professional and did an amazing job, getting my solar installation installed very quickly while also done right. They always kept me up to date on next steps and I just can't say enough good things about them. Cannot say enough about Sam, Johnny, Mando, Josh and the Next Door team. Sam first came to my door over a year ago when I was interested but not ready to make my home improvements. I interviewed a half a dozen different solar contractors and they made the best impression and had very fair pricing. Very motivated as well as pragmatic about what was needed and what was not. The re-roof and solar install all happened much faster than anticipated, and all of the permitting and paperwork was handled efficiently and passed inspections immediately. I would highly recommend them for your solar and home improvement needs.

The Project Manager, Sam is very courteous and professional. When he made the energy assessment on our home, he explained it thoroughly and eagerly answered all our questions/ concerns. We were particularly impressed when Sam found other options for us to finance the solar. He really did his homework and went beyond to make sure that we qualify to get the system.

Our solar installation went exactly as planned and was completed on time. Any questions or issues we had were quickly dealt with by Sam, who will return after our first DWP billing cycle to explain the solar billing process. He was also very helpful in applying for the Consumer Rebates associated with the solar program.
