Based on my previous good experience with Darryl Lamont, I decided to use him to convert my pool to salt water. Once again, I was not disappointed! He thoroughly inspected the pool and gave me a written quote for the work, detailing everything that was needed. Being a cautious person, I also got two other quotes and found them to be in the same ballpark. However, the other contractors didn't discuss their quotes with me, nor did they itemize them. Their attitude seemed to be that they were the experts so I'd better trust them. As a result, I decided not to use them. Darryl performed the salt water conversion on time and within budget, even though there were a couple of unexpected glitches that could have slowed progress and cost more. He absorbed them into the overall contract, and worked extra hours to make sure everything was done on time. Since then, the salt water system has worked flawlessly and my wife and I are very happy!

My pool heater failed and I called AHS since my policy with them covered pool repairs. They hooked me up with Darryl Lamont since he was on their list of preferred pool maintenance companies. That in itself was a good recommendation. Darryl's expertise quickly became apparent as he was able to not only determine the problem but fixed it quickly. He also pointed out some discrepancies in the pool heater piping which meant it was not up to code. He fixed that as well for no extra cost, even though it was technically not related to the original problem. What I really appreciated was that Darryl took the time to explain to me everything that he was doing and why. This was a refreshing change from the way some technical specialists have treated me in the past. After his repairs, the heater worked perfectly!
