They did good work. There were 4 people. It was a long all day job. The best aspect was, it was easy.

BEWARE! OWNER'S JON & SHERRY LEVINE ARE UNETHICAL CROOKS AND RUN A FRAUDULANT BUSINESS. IF YOU HAVE PROPERTY DAMAGE, PLEASE WRITE A REVIEW AND REPORT IT TO THE BBB, AMSA, ANGIE'S LIST AND MOVING.COM TO PROTECT OTHERS. THEY ARE NO LONGER AGENTS FOR ATLAS VAN LINES YET THEY ADVERTISE THAT THEY ARE. THEY MIS-REPRESENT THEIR STORAGE FACILITY. THEY WILL DESTROY YOUR VALUABLES AND TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEM. READ ON TO UNDERSTAND WHY I HAVE WRITTEN THIS. I trusted this business with my life's possessions and they were GROSSLY NEGLIGENT and UNPROFESSIONAL in regards to moving and storage. I WAS a loyal customer having used them in 2010, but in the end suffered tens of thousand's of dollars in loss due to careless packing, negligent storage, fees and rent. GROSS NEGLIGENCE, DECEIT & THEFT: Jon Levine instructed his warehouse workers to throw my sofa away when they discovered it was ruined by water after leaving my vaults outside for months. They LIED and claimed that the sofa was mis-placed. This sofa was part of a large Roche Bobois sectional that was very expensive. I was informed that they looked everywhere in their storage facility and just could not find it. Since all of my possessions were moved into crates, it was hard to understand how this could possibly happen. Did the owner REALLY think that I wouldn't notice my couch was gone??? It's only the largest piece of furniture I had. WATER DAMAGE (see pictures): A mid-century modern family heirloom suffered major water damage and breakage. Since I stored my items before moving across country, it was obvious that this cabinet had sat in water and then the water dried creating, cracking, peeling, warping of laminate and water stains. A restoration expert said he could attempt to renovate the piece but it would be expensive and might not look the same. In addition to this piece, other boxes had suffered water damage which left BLACK MOLD on anything of natural fibers (clothes, rugs, baskets, etc.). Other expensive pieces of furniture were scratched, warped or had bent hinges, all of this costing me to have repaired. UNPROFESSIONAL: I spent hours filling out the claim forms, taking pictures, getting repair estimates and making sure I referenced each item, submitted the document and waited and waited for a response. Atlas was only responsible for the shipping so they attempted to contact JBL. The claims adviser informed me that Jon Levine would not return their calls after 2 weeks of trying. As of this review, Jon Levine has not contacted me despite all the documentation, phone calls and messages from his staff. Wow! Things Have CHANGED!! Not for the better..... I had a greatexperience with these folks moving me two years ago. So good In fact, still on another review board today, is my glowing review. They were so good, I gave their name to my son and they moved him a year later. The reason for writing this review update is that I guess things have CHANGED SUBSTANTIALLY. I called their offices TODAY as I am again moving and very much wanted to do business with them again. I called and got their Operations Manager, Joey Meeks, on the phone today. As I was describing where we are geographically, Joey began to seem very hesitant to want my business. I asked him about that hesitancy and he suddenly got all offended and then literally 1) BLEW UP AT ME on the phone and then 2) HUNG UP ON ME!! This is a HUGE problem if your considering using them moving as the Operations Managers runs all the details and logistics of your move. Suffice it to say, I won't do business with these guys any more and could no longer recommend that you do either. This is a shame, these guys were great to me last time (referenced by my Yelp review and giving them my sons business). I feel betrayed because I wrote such a good online review for them 2 years ago and gave them my sons business as well. As a business owner myself, I can't think of anything that would ever justify hanging up on a highly referenceable customer. If he was on my payroll, by 5pm tonight HE'D BE ON THE STREET LOOKING FOR A NEW JOB

However, they do have a 3 hour minimum and we didn’t need 3 hours of work but other than that everything worked out.

I got a reminder call the day before. The vaults were dropped off in the early window of the time frame they gave me. I loaded my stuff into the vault. I called and they came later that day and picked up the vaults. Easy!

Their work was pretty good. One of their people stole a bottle of money that I had. We went to their boss, explained it to them, and my wife got a police report. The bottle had about $1000 worth of money in it and they gave us $400 or something. They also broke one of my wife?s antique chairs and I just wish we had never dealt with them. The move went pretty well but when we dealt with the particulars with what went wrong, they didn?t handle it very well. The people we wanted to use weren?t available at the time so we were pressed for time. We didn?t get estimates because we needed to be out and about; we took what they said and that was it.

They had to do a lot more when it came to unloading because their truck would not fit in the driveway. They had to use hand carts for everything. With all of the extra stress, we found nothing broke or scratched.

Really efficient, fast, professional, punctual and I would highly recommend them.

I WOULD SAY THAT THEY WERE OKAY. THEY DID ARRIVE LATE.
