Oscar added some additional custom posts to railings on my stairs. His price was fair and the work he did was exactly as he promised.

Oscar had good ideas on to proceed with making the gate so it would match the front of the house. It looks great and was done quickly. He gave us the best price of all our estimates. He’s a very nice man too.

Mr. Garcia arrived on time, was very knowledgeable and professional, and the gate was repaired with new hinges. We would definitely use his services again in the future.

Oscar came out to take a look and was very honest and helpful. He assured that the repairs would not be visible and even suggested an improvement to the stability of my gate post. We went over my options and agreed on the price and work to be done. Oscar was very timely, and reasonably priced. In the end I ended up over paying Oscar for the work. I did not catch the mistake, but he did. Oscar quickly called me and assured me he would return the overpayment promptly which he did. Oscar Garcia is one of the best contractors I have ever hired. For both jobs he only charged a total of $480.00. He is highly skilled and a total professional. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone, or select him for any future repair work.

Oscar is great. He is conscientious and professional. If he said he would be here by 2:30, he was here. He would stop work to show us every time he fixed something so if we wanted modifications or adjustments he could do it before he went to the next thing. I was tremendously impressed. If I need something else fixed, Oscar is my man.

I had to replace the wooden fence and gate after it was blown away and destroyed by strong Sta Ana winds. I decided to replace it with an iron gAte both for aesthetics and longevity. I called Oscar on a Friday afternoon and he was very helpful and offered to come out the next day, on a Saturday to see what he can do and to give me a free estimate. He came on time as scheduled got the measurements and proceeded to give me ideas of the kinds of gates and custom designs he can do. Most importantly the estimated price and the delivery date was beyond my expectation. I previously canvassed 3 other companies and all 3 companies were double the price From what Oscar estimated for his service. In addition, i was impressed by his professionalism and sincerity. I decided to use Oscar to fabricate and install my gate. He promised to have the gate done and installed in a week and he was true to his word. He arrived on time with his son and finished the job in 2 hrs. Overall, i was very pleased with the gate, the service, and the price. Oscar arrived promptly at the scheduled time. He inspected the problem and was able to quickly access what needed to be done. After setting up Oscar went right to work and was able to repair the damaged iron hinge. He made the repair in such a way that it is better and stronger than it was originally. He even painted the repair so you would never know it was damaged. Oscar is very knowledgeable, honest, and professional. I would use him for any of my iron, fencing, and welding needs.

Oscar the owner was very prompt in setting up an appointment and showed up on time. He is very friendly and knowledgeable at his profession. He explained in great detail the work he was going to do fabricating and installing the wrought iron security bars. Although I went with someone else, I feel the quote of $2000.00 dollars was fair and I would recommend him highly.

Oscar is the best wrought iron contractor I have ever hired. He proved it to me by showing up with a very well made wrought iron crawlspace cover (with a metal screen) to keep racoons from breeding and causing lots of damage underneath our house. He even added a handle at no charge without me requesting it so it is easier to lift up. Without asking him, he detected and fixed a defect that a previous contractor had done on another wrought iron door that we have and he did not want to charge me extra to fix it. Oscar is an old school contractor that is hard to find anymore and he is very proud of his craftsmanship. His high quality work speaks for itself.

I left a message to request an estimate for an iron fence. Oscar called back to set an appointment to come out the following morning. He was right on time. He took a very careful look at the broken fence. He also suggested adding expandable metal mesh to the new fence to keep out snakes. ( We live in the hills.) He had sample photos and materials in his truck, and they looked great. Later in the day, his daughter emailed a written estimate with a nice concept sketch of the new fence and mesh. His price is very competitive. Oscar is very nice, patient, and honest. I would hire him, but because of my Homeowners Association regulations, I must use another contractor. If I did not have to follow HOA guidelines, I would definitely hire Oscar for any wrought iron jobs.

Oscar is experienced, prompt, courteous, thorough, and polite. He even provided me with a headache cure using basil leaves from my garden - and it worked. For jobs of this nature that utilize his repair skills, I would recommend Oscar Garcia.

Oscar came to my house to look at my fence that I needed to make higher. He was very difficult to understand, using jargon I didn't understand such as, "You need 4 by 8s. You need 8 by 4s", and giving me three different suggestions on what work he would do all in one long confusing sentence. I finally asked him if he could sketch out the ideas he was saying, or show me pictures of what he was talking about, and he said he didn't have his notebook in the truck that day. He then said he would email me estimates but I never heard from him again.

We needed a fence with a gate at the side of our house. Oscar came out right away -on the morning of christmas eve- to have a look at the job and take measures. He came out a week later again, when we had changed our mind about the location and he took additional measures. His english is not as bad as he states, his daughter helped out only a little bit, we got it all sorted out. He and a colleague installed the fence and gate a few days later. He was punctual and friendly, perfectly cleaned up old fencing and installed the new fence, it looks and works great and he even fixed our front gate with no additional charge.

I got far more than my money's worth! I got an initial estimate for $5700 from another vendor. I got an estimate from Oscar to perform the exact same job for $3800. My going with Oscar was initially based on faith from Angie's List testimonials, but I was immensely gratified to see that he carried through with his promised work to perfection. Please note that Oscar's English is very good, but to communicate complex instructions, he may ask his daughter to translate. Oscar is enthusiastic, and his iron work is superb!

I interviewed several fencing companies and Oscar was the only person to sit down with me and give me costs based on various fencing options based on my budget. He did not force me to purchase anything. He was not a salesman, but an honest person that really seemed to care for my needs. His English is a little hard to understand at times, but he is reliable, honest and his work is exceptional. He kept in contact with me all the time to let me know the status on my project and kept all appointments. He even invited me to his home to meet his lovely family. His daughters were very polite. He and his daughter even called me to thank me for everything when the work was done. I have never had such a warm feeling for any contractor in such a short time of meeting. I deal with various contractors daily overseeing operations for several federally mandated facilities. Oscar is one of the few honest contractors left in this industry. I would highly recommend him for any job.
