Alex came to my condo for a consultation, and gave me some very useful information about how to proceed. He gave me a "coupon" for a future visit, which is only redeemable based on positive reviews on websites like yelp, AG, amazon, Google, facebook, and yellow pages. $5 per review for a total of $30. I would have been happy to work with Alex, but a company that engages in this kind of practice indicates a lack of integrity that I don't wish to support.

They were responsive, fast, efficient and clean! I could not believe how clean they were. Amazing. Half the price of another company that I used previously.

Alex was responsive, courteous and helpful on the phone, scheduling the appointment as quickly as my HOA's required 24-hour notice for shut off of water to the building would allow. On the day of the appointment, Alex and his assistant arrived early, ready to get started, but there had been a misunderstanding with my HOA regarding how the water would be turned off, so he was unable to do the job (by no fault of his own). Even with the time wasted by coming out for a job that he ultimately was unable to do because of my HOA, Alex remained courteous, cheerful, and helpful, and he didn't charge me any more than the Angie's List service visit deal I had booked. As the steam from the hot water was really getting to me, I asked if there was any way he could just cap the water off to stop it (even though that meant giving up use of my shower until I'd be able to figure it out at a later date and probably just work with the HOA's plumber). His assistant was able to disable the hot water knob for me, providing a very welcome temporary fix (a cold shower is better than no shower!) I felt badly for the waste of his time, and hope his business will flourish, because he really does seem to be as exceptional as all the other reviews indicate.

Excellent! Worked with Alex and Hugo. Both very professional, pleasant and easy to work with. Price was reasonable for all the work they performed. Will call on them for all future plumbing needs.

Alex and his assistant did a great job. He explained the work he was going to do, reviewed all the details of the invoice with me, and got right to work. They were very clean in their job both during the installation and the clean up afterward. I would definitely hire Drain Master again.

Hugo came out and tried the least expensive method but that didn’t work. He took the toilet off to find that the previous guy didn’t install it correctly. It could have been a costly job if Hugo hadn’t thoroughly checked the drain and found the obstruction before it moved further down the drain. Lesson learned, get a professional plumber to do plumbing not a handyman.

After reading all the five star reviews on Drain Master Plumbing & Rooter I decided to call them regarding servicing our yard/rain gutter drains that empty to the street. Alex gave me a competitive quote over the phone. Hugo and Sarkis provided amazing service in removing the tree roots and years of accumulated dirt, rocks, etc. from the drains. They were friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. They explained the right rooter to use to prevent damage to the drain pipes and gave other tips to prevent future repairs. They are extremely honest, trustworthy and excellent at their jobs. All the work was done at a very fair price. I highly recommend Drain Master Plumbing and Rooter!

I contacted Drain Master because I was having issues with my bathroom drain. When I called I was able to speak to a live person who helped me determine the exact issue. The person I spoke to was very polite and, unlike other plumbers, used layman terms that I could understand and not industry terms that others do to confuse you and make you feel dumb. I was given numerous times and dates, flexibility, to choose from for the tech to come out. They really did everything to work around my busy work day and schedule. On the date of the service the tech Snaked and Cabled my drain. The tech was nice enough to go over what he found and ways for me to prevent it in the future. In my previous experience with other plumbers they don't do this, likely because they want it to happen again and get more money off of the customer....Not Drain Master, the tech talked to me and helped me find ways to keep my drain in tact so that I would save money....they actually used those words "We are Here to Help you Save Money". Along with that the tech stayed and continued to monitor the drain to ensure that it was fixed...all the while saying "We Want to Ensure that We Fixed it Right the First Time." For billing I was immediately told a price but after the extent of the service they provided I expected some outrageous price. I was shocked when I got the invoice, from the tech, and it said the exact price I was told at the start of the job. I said "Are you sure, I got all this for a minimal $125 charge". The tech smiled and giggled a little and said, "Sir as long as you are satisfied, we know we did our job to perfection, if more was going to be added I would have gone over that with you". IMPRESSIVE, not like others that say one thing and throw you a bill for double or triple. Thank you Drain Master, you are a life saver. I only have one bathroom in my unit and was really concerned that I wasn't going to be able to use the bathroom for a while but thanks to Drain Master I was able to get this resolved in minimal time and effort. I would definitely use this service again and again and again.

When I contacted Drain Master I had just broken a bad relationship with a previous plumbing company that I was using for home inspections. I let Alex know the concerns that I had with my previous plumber (e.g. inspections not fully completed, rude techs, always late, and not sending reports on time). When I mentioned these issues to Alex he said that he would take care of anything we need and without any of the issues I was previously dealing with. Alex and his crew came out. The inspection was done in minimal time, which was great because I had an appointment shortly after. I was able to get the report the same day and also a quote for repairs. Alex personally went over each issue with me and explained how it may affect the property value, sale amount, and/or processing of escrow. To my surprise Alex even checked the gas lines; something that my previous plumber would have charged double for. Alex and his crew were great and very efficient. Alex said he would be at the property by 8 and he was there at 7:55 waiting for me to arrive and allow entry. Alex was very professional and you can tell him and his crew have a deep appreciation for their job, very noticeable based on their positive attitudes and willingness to assist me in any way possible. I truly appreciate Alex and Drainmaster Plumbing. I would greatly recommend their service to any and everyone. If you want a great plumber for service work, inspections, etc... please call Drainmaster. I would hate to see anyone have to deal with the issues I dealt with before I called Drainmaster. These guys are the best!!!!! I have since used them on 8 other homes and haven't had one buyer call to complain about plumbing issues.

I purchased my house a few years ago and was warned about my sewer line by a friend who said that it's not in good condition based on some minor problems I had in the first few months. I thought to myself it will probably last at least 10 years before I have to touch anything, but as luck would have it a couple years into it my drain line started to back up what a night mare. I called a couple of companies trying to get estimates, knowing that it's going to be expensive I prepared myself but was instantly shocked on the ridiculous estimates I got one company gave me $28,000 the other $32,500. After calming down, I called my friend for advise and he recommended DrainMaster plumbing and rooter, he said he had used them in a previous job and was extremely satisfied, so I called them for an estimate and they quickly came out talked me through the whole process, without making any assumptions recommended a camera inspection to determine the condition of the line. After thoroughly going through everything they came back to me with a price as I was holding my breath they gave me the price $15,400. What a deal! I couldn't be happier. Without a second I had them start. Hugo and Sarkis immediately went to work. During the process Alex from upper management came out and checked all the work and made sure everything was going according to plan and that I was satisfied with everything, after everything was completed they left the place spic and span awesome.

Had the best price, attitude, professionalism, overall they did exactly what they promised they would do. Have to agree with the rest of the A rated reviews, and in addition i checked them up on yelp to make sure, and found only 5 Stars. Alex and his employees are proffesionals! They went out of their way to protect my wood floor, cabinets and appliances. I'm very grateful for the way he handled everything. I would use him again, and reccommend him anytime.

DrainMaster Plumbing & Rooter installed my new tank water heater quickly and effectively soon after my existing water heater prematurely failed. Alex Farajian?s company had been helpful before (performing key work in a complex generator installation among other services) and they came through this time when my family really needed them. On no particular Wednesday, after 6 years without problems, the 12-year GE water heater installed by my house?s previous owner suddenly couldn?t sustain a pilot light. Hot water is something we all take for granted. Not having it was a huge inconvenience. The weekend loomed. Unfortunately, as Alex explained during his initial visit, GE had sold its water heater business to a company called Rheem. And while replacement parts are not easy to find locally, Rheem should be able to supply them under warranty. He described the malfunctioning thermostat-to-heatgrid system and the parts to ask for that would allow him to fix the problem efficiently. So I used contact numbers listed online to call Rheem and described the situation. Yet rather than sending the modest swath of parts I asked for that probably would have fixed the problem quickly, Rheem would only send parts piecemeal based on their assessment of my clumsy description of symptoms. Huh; Rheem seemed to display no urgency in helping me address this warrantied GE problem, what a surprise. And, as Alex predicted, I had no luck with the otherwise well-stocked Los Angeles plumbing supply companies who?ve helped me before, having divested themselves of GE water heater replacement parts some time ago. So, since the ball was indeed in Rheem?s court, it appeared that the repair of our water heater wouldn?t happen so soon, maybe not until after the weekend ? which would mean 5 or 6 days without hot water. My family would mutiny. Screw that. Alex Farajian and his crew acted quickly when I decided to replace the failed GE water heater with a new tank unit (instead of a trendy ?instant-hot? tankless, because we live in earthquake country ? not France ? and an extra 50 gallons of water might come in handy one day, knock on wood). No Rheem unit would fit the available space, so I selected a 9-year Whirlpool that fits and has a clever self-diagnosing pilot light/thermostat. Alex picked-up the new water heater, installed it with upgraded connectors and took away the old unit by mid-afternoon Thursday. He billed me later, which I find convenient, and gave me thoughtful tips to keep my family?s new Whirlpool water heater humming for its full 9 years. Sure, I could have saved money with a 6-year unit, maybe suffering until the old unit was ?repaired? or even replacing it myself (yeah, right ? with a lot of swearing). Instead, I had a great plumber with a crew of gentlemen take care of everything. And, a few weeks later, it?s working great. Of course if anything should fritz, I have every confidence that Alex will back-up his work without delay. Which is very, very important.
