American Flat Rate Moving & Storage

I was originally quoted for 2 guys which I felt was enough since I wasn't moving a huge mansion. When I called the day before to confirm my appt, they talked me into 3 guys for a bit more. I figured what the heck, add another guy for a bit more and be done faster. The day of the move, only 2 guys showed up. The excuse was that the 3rd guy was late to work. Oh well, better and cheaper for me. I'd say the move in total took about 10 hours including drive time. There was a bit of confusion loading the truck which may have slowed them down a little due to the 2 stops in Temecula but all in all it was a good experience. They took the time to wrap our furniture and used furniture pads when loading the truck so nothing was damaged.

This is the worst moving company I've ever seen. Totally unprofessional. It was a 3 man team, one of the men didn't do much but still asked us to pay for his hours. He also wanted to add $200 extra to our bill and when we refused to pay for that because the contract doesn't list that charge, he threw a tantrum like a 3 year old and kicked all his tool all over our drive way. We almost called the 911. It was very unfortunate that we picked them to move but we don't want anybody else to go through what we went through. So please stay away from them!
