my water heater was leaking and the only way to stop it was to shut off water to the whole house. I was working till midnight and had to fit this in and was a little stressed. the man was on time and since I was interested in a tankless water heater that is what I asked for. he said that would be 4700.00. I has researched this 5 years ago and it was half the price. I felt I has to get this done and said ok and then he said this should be on a filtration system. I had also researched this and was interested in a whole house filtration. I asked him if the water makes your skin and hair soft and clean. he said yes and went to get brochure in his truck but came back saying he didn't have any. I went ahead and agreed to a halo5 system. the tankless water heater works fine so far but I did some research after the fact and 4700.00 is way over what it should have cost. the halo5 system cost me another 3200.00 and after a week I couldn't stand the way my hair, skin and clothes came out after washing. I called and said I wanted it removed and my money back. they kept saying I would have to talk to someone else and would call lme back. no one would say how much I would get back for 3 days. I ended talking to amy who said I would get my 3200.00. so I had the halo5 system removed by the same man who denied ever saying the water from this system would condition my water for soft, clean skin and hair. I am still waiting for my refund. no one should use this company for anything. they are overpriced and unprofessional if there is any problem.

They were always very neat and clean, polite, and respectful! They didn't try to nickle and dime you in any way, and there prices were very competitive.

They did a good job, but were extremely expensive. The initial repair they made was $3,000. We were then informed that this would just be a temporary fix and if we did not address the issue now it would be even more expensive down the road. They then charged us $4000 for the second part of the project. Each fix took just one day, so we ultimately paid $7000 for two days of work.

They were punctual and efficient. They were timely and clean. Although a little expensive, because it was in a very difficult place to put it, I thought they were reasonable in everything that they did.

The service was fantastic. It was kind of an emergency and everyone else I had talked to wanted to charge double or triple just to come out on a Sunday. They were willing to come out on a Sunday and they even gave me a free estimate. The price was very reasonable as they were almost half of what everyone else was charging. They were very punctual. I think they arrived within about 45 minutes. The work they did was great, and they even provided parts at no extra charge. I would recommend them.

This is a company to avoid. I had a slow flush toilet and slow draining shower. I called Power Pro Plumbing on a Sunday morning. A young man finally came out hours after he was scheduled to arrive. Once here, he was quite pleasant, seemed to work efficiently, and it appeared that he had fixed the problem. He submitted the invoice, took a check for $157.00, and left. Discussion about the toilet was left to toilet paper clog. I found it unusual but assumed it was a result of the water efficient toilet. A few hours pass (three toilet flushes later) and the same back flow problem begins again. I call the company back and a very sweet receptionist states that the guy who previously came out to fix the problem in the morning was off duty and that either he could come back again in the evening or another plumber to re-fix the problem. I cautioned her that whomever came out was not important...but that the toilet should be working. She mentioned that she needed to schedule the return visit and would call me back in ten minutes or so, which she did. She mentioned that the shower was under warranty but NOT THE TOILET! I was aghast!!! REALLY?!!!! I complained quite vociferously and was informed that she needed to contact her 'manager', which she said she would. No return call. So, I called her back after a few minutes because I was hopping mad about being played by this worker and by the company. The sweet receptionist then told me that her manager apologized about the 'situation' and that another plumber was on his way to correct the problem...for no charge and as a courtesy call. The second fellow did show up within 30 minutes...unclogged the toilet, flushed the toilet numerous times, and advised to use Charmin instead of other types of toilet paper. Then as he was leaving, he saw a spider in a web above my gate and stated how it was a red, flesh-eating spider, which is a folk tale. I got a broom and brought the spider down before he would pass through my gate. I am not sure if this second plumber believed his own story or was again playing me for potential distracted panic or/and ensuring I will honor the previous payment for bogus services. Regardless, this last exchange took the prize. A company like Power Pro Plumbing prey on the unsuspecting, trusting, and stressed-out homeowner/renter. The first thing I can do is to warn consumers who take the time to read these kinds of reviews in advance. I didn't and I am sorry I did not take a moment to check their credentials on Angie's List. My haste has proven to be a significant waste of my day off, not to mention my focus and goodwill. I am very angry that I have had to experience a company that engages in such deceptive and nefarious business practices! And then pay an inflated price for what was a simple toilet paper clog!!!!!!!! Until the owners of this company learn to respect customers and hire employees with integrity, who honor their workmanship, complaints like these will continue. Eventually, if this company does not change their ways, it will be put out of business! Karma is strict!!! Demand that companies work with better business practices!!!!

I would rate them high overall. Their price was fair.

They were pretty good and very fair. I spent about $120 for their services. The plumber didn’t try to sell me anything that was more than what I needed or wanted. I would use them again.

It was a terrible experience if you do hire them: 1) Watch them the entire time and ask them what they are doing. 2) Don't accept or sign any bill that states any other problems "could go wrong 3) Test the service after they are done and make them wait for 15 minutes to make sure everything is working properly 5) Just hire another company!

It was a disaster. We asked the plumber to install new flushing mechanisms in three toilets. He told us we needed a pressure regulator as well and installed it. He offered to look at a leak under the sink for no extra charge and told us that the dishwasher water pipe was improperly installed. He pulled out the dishwasher, scratched the floor, tried to fix the leak, and then realized the pipe was actually the right one installed at the factory. He put back the dishwasher and scratched the floor and the cabinets, and the dishwasher is still tilted. At some point in the process he went out to lunch, put on a bunch of cologne, and then hit on my wife. The toilets and the sink continued to leak. He asked for another $200 after giving us a prior written estimate. He threatened to tear out the work he did if we didn't pay the extra money, and then sat in front of our house for an hour before leaving. That night, the plumbing leaked and the company sent out another plumber, who did a partial fix. Later, the toilets and the sink continued to leak. Plumber #3 from the company came out and fixed things more to our satisfaction. Because the work under the sink was "extra", it wasn't covered by the one-year warranty. The company was nice about it and fixed it anyway. About a month and a half later, the pipe where the pressure regulator (which I don't think we needed after all) sprung a leak. We were told that this probably had nothing to do with Plumber #1's work, and that we would have to pay for it. We were also by the company rep told that we were calling the company too much. We paid somebody else to fix the problem. Later, the kitchen sink leaked again, and we paid another plumber to do a definitive fix. Subsequently, the water pipe in front of our house was hacksawed in the middle of the day and sprung a leak. We filed a police report and had another plumber fix it. Our toilet still leaks occasionally. Our diswasher is still tilted forward. We subsequently found out several things: 1. The plumbers work as contractors rather than employees. If work has to be redone or takes too long, it comes out of their own money. 2. Our particular plumber had other issues and was subsequently fired. I don't want to say anything more and get into legal hot water. 3. "Free" extra work added on to the invoice isn't covered by the warranty. To its credit, I think the company had a bad apple and tried to fix things. The low rating is really based on the first individual more than the company itself. I would only make two suggestions to the company: Do a background check on your plumbers, and be aware that the customer with multiple calls may actually be a nice person with a legitimate issue.

The lateral line from my parent's house to the main line in the street was blocked and when I was doing a load of laundry, the sewage backed up into the kitchen and bathroom sinks and toilet downstairs and into the patio room adjoining the kitchen. My father was still in the hospital recovering from hip-replacement surgery and I was at their home helping my mother prepare for his discharge and return home. With sewage contaminating everything downstairs and my father needing to use the downstairs bathroom, this catastrophe came at the worst of times. From the moment Fernando arrived, he patiently checked all the areas and tried to find a cleanout drain so he could put his snake camera down the drain to find the source of the problem. The old cleanout drain in the patio had been cemented shut for years and yet there was evidence of sewage having leaked into the carpet for quite some time. He managed to snake through the bathroom and showed the pictures to my mother. The lateral piping had become disjointed about 12 feet out from the house, so his snake could go no further. Fernando and his crew dug a hole about 7 feet deep into the hard claylike soil. When they reached the pipes, water/sewage started flooding the hole thus indicating a leak between the hole and the house. He slip-lined that portion of pipe. Snaking the rest of the lateral line from the hole to the main line, he found more leaks and recommended that portion of pipe be slip-lined as well. Throughout the entire process, Fernando was considerate of my parents' floors/carpets and put booties on over his boots before entering the house. He brought in his shop vac and cleaned up the sewage, even helping me to wipe down the counter & appliance surfaces it had spilled or splashed on. He kept me apprised of the amount of time we would be without water and assured me that he would have everything repaired so my father could be discharged from the hospital and come home. During the project, Fernando had a death in his own family and was making arrangements to travel out of the country to the funeral. Still, he showed up as he originally said he would and worked until late Good Friday evening to get the job completed. He was professional and compassionate and extremely efficient. He even wrote a detailed description of what he found so that we could open a claim with my parents' homeowner's insurance once the proverbial "dust" had settled. I would hire him again in a heartbeat but hopefully will never have to. The sliplining is guaranteed for 50 years!!!

At first they looked really good. But once they were in the house they kept saying more repairs were needed than they originally thought and the repairs would be more than they estimated. They removed the garbage disposal, but when we ran the dishwasher and got a water overflow on top of the sink. They would not complete the repair without more money. On the bright side, they will come out on Saturdays and give free estimates.

I explained the problem to company representative. Company examined problem and gave me an estimate and what would be involved to fix the problem. At the end of the project it was explained to me an additional recommendation to fix the gas lines while the company was doing the plumbing repair. I agreed with their recommendation. I appreciated the "trench less" method of installing the new sewer pipes.

IT WAS OK. TECH WAS COMPLAINING ABOUT OFFICE PERSONAL. HE WAS TO UN-CLOG THE KITCHEN SINK. GAVE RECOMMENDATION TO POWER WASH THE LINE FOR ONLY $450.00.
