Dream Painting

Excellent! They arrived on time and finished ahead of schedule. The effort put into masking and protecting adjacent areas was excellent. Afterwards, I could not find a single example of over-spray or drips. None of our plants were damaged and everything was returned to its proper positions. The men were polite and professional. We were kept informed of the progress at all times. During the job, I was going to touch up some damage caused by the satellite dish, which was not part of the contract. But my touch-up paint didn't match. They mixed a good match for me and completed the touch-up job, even thought that was not in the contract. We have used a lot of painters over the years, but this company is the best. We will use them again.

Excellent job, couldn't have gone any smoother. Right on time and worked until job was done. Very pleased.

They stuck to their price. I didn't like the quality of the work. There were some spots they missed that we didn't notice until after they had been paid. They did not fix the problem.

The team was very punctual. Professionalism was present however, when the foreman left for a while to the store, the workers did goof off a bit. There was an area which had not been painted fully and this was speedily rectified. The overall experience was impressive. The work was neatly done and clean up impeccable.

Everything went very well. Jorge and his crew were very professional and on time every day. The job took 3 days, and Jorge explained what each day would consist of. The crew took the time to walk with me afterwards to make sure I was happy with everything, and I was. I asked a neighbor who he used to paint his house and he said not to bother because he was not happy. He said, "I should have gone to Angie's List". So I'm glad I did.

I talked to Paul initially about an estimate for painting the entire interior of my townhouse and he was very nice about it all. He was able to paint the entire interior in the estimated time and at an affordable rate.

David Kwak and his team were very professional. They were there on time, very clean and finished on time. I recommended them to a friend and she had the same experience. We will definitely hire them again.

it There were two crews, one for the inside and one for the outside. The interior was done in two days as they said would be. They were very thorough with prep and helped move heavy furniture. Everything was protected with plastic. They put in two very long days of work. I asked to add a couple of doors to the proposal and they accommodated me. The paint looks beautiful and they did a fantastic job. They left nothing behind to clean up! They were also very quiet and professional. The outside crew with Kim was also amazing. They were efficient, punctual and very hardworking. Everyone was also very friendly and easy to talk to. I have a new puppy and they were very accommodating in giving her time to get outside. There was a lot of area to paint and they got it done in three days as they said they would. The gazebo was a bit of a challenge but they found a creative way to get it done. They didn't hesitate to do all of the high areas as well. It is flawless. My husband thought he spotted an area that needed going over but they had already done so before he could bring it to their attention. It truly is perfect. They thought of things we didn't and are obviously very professional. We have lived here for 35 years and have never experienced anything like this. I saw them picking small things out of the grass during their cleanup. Unbelievably thorough. Both crews were very easy to have around and we appreciate their work. Their bid was one of the lowest - they could probably charge more and still have very satisfied customers. They used the best Dunn Edwards paint. We would recommend these folks to anyone.

The guy that came out was pretty straightforward. He did everything as he said. These guys were impeccable. These guys were utterly fantastic. There is no word to describe how these guys performed. The price was competitive. It was fair. Their quality was wonderful. They told they would start at 6.30 in the morning and they used be here at 6.30. They finished the work on time. They said they would complete the work in 3 days and they were serious about it. I will be using them again for my son's condo.

Masking was well done. Application of the paint was also relatively well done. However, the paint was (and is) very thinly-applied. The slightest brush, nick or bump leaves a mark that needs to be touched up. It appears that skimping on paint was a cost-cutting tactic.

Paul came out a week before to estimate the job. The estimate was emailed to us the following day & we responded that the price seemed reasonable & we'd like to schedule. The job was scheduled for 3/13-14/ 2014. John & his assistant showed up Thursday morning as scheduled & immediately got to work, putting plastic in the kitchen area to protect granite, etc. John (the painter) helped remove the TV from the Entertainment Center. My husband (also John so this can be confusing) asked him to mark the cables so he'd know where they went the painting was done. John (the painter) said it wasn't necessary as he knew where they went & would reconnect it. When removing the Hopper, the black cover came off the antennae & John (the painter) put it someplace. We don't know where & neither did he. The estimate called for sanding & priming the cabinets prior to painting. No sanding was done. The cabinets were wiped with something before the primer was applied. Do be sure you read the estimate carefully. I thought I had, but I didnt so instead of costing around $1900, it cost $2600- for a job that took 1 person almost 2 days & the other person (John) a little over a day (we went out to breakfast both days & he was gone when we got back-both days). $2600 is hefty even had it taken 2 full days for 2 people. Do be sure you mark where cables go if any electronics are involved. We haven't figured out how to connect that TV yet. In addition, John the painter has no idea where the antenna cover might be Do be sure to take the 2nd car out of the garage even though only 1 door, 10 feet away from the car was painted- with a brush. We don't know how, but there was paint spatter on the BACK of our Black car. John the painter said they didn't do it but did take $100 off the bill. Do be sure the proper tape (painting tape, not masking tape) is used to tape down the plastic protecting the wood floor. Masking tape was used & there is some tape residue on the floors.

The estimator was friendly, professional and arrived on time. The leader of the crew was professional, knowledgeable and very meticulous to detail. I appreciate his input on color selection and also type of paint (gloss, semi-gloss or satin). He accounted for my concerns and addressed them as he painted. I have nothing but high praises for the crew leader, unfortunately, I forgot his name. His crew was not as impressive. They did as they were told, but lacked the work ethic as their crew leader. They did a poor job of painting, which the crew leader had to correct and they did a poor job of cleaning up after the painting was completed. I saw them just going through the motion of cleaning, but the proof was in the pudding - the house was not cleaned up. Since it was late, I let it go and cleaned up the house myself. I would only use this company again if the two crew people are not on the job site and only if I could get the crew leader to perform the work. All in all, I liked the estimator and the crew leader.

Prompt, professional, high quality workmanship. We are very satisfied and intend to use this company again this spring.

They were one of the lower estimates I received. They were very professional and did an amazing job in prepping the house for the painting. They cleaned up at the end of every day. They even did a few additional things that were not listed on the contract. Overall, they did a wonderful job.

They were extremely professional and they did exactly what they said they were going to do. They showed up on time. They were neat, clean, and considerate. They were very communicative and we have been really happy with their work.

We had our house painted by Drum Painting. The owner is Mr. David Kwak. I did use them to do some repair work inside – my baluster, they repainted it. It was less than $100. We have used them before. We like the quality of their work and they are professional. They have a fantastic general manager and he is just a joy. The matter of fact, now, I can tell you when it was, it was near Thanksgiving because I gave them a ham for Thanksgiving.

We are completely thrilled with the interior and exterior of our new home! The painting crew was efficient, knowledgeable and courteous. Everything looks beautiful and every detail was attended to. They knew what they were doing and came in and did it. We we had removed almost all of the flooring and the house was empty, so I don't know how things would have gone if they had to be more careful, but all indications are that they would be professional in that regard as well. They made sure we were completely satisfied before they left and before we paid them a dime. I will definitely call them for any future painting needs!

The workers were punctual, bought the quality paint I was promised, they covered my floors, and tried to close off areas not being painted. There were a few bumps in the road... they have a three year quality promise, I am having them come back to satify my expectations. And they are anxious to please. I had a bit of a communication barrier with the painters they were Guatemalans, and plus they supply their own equiptment.

Arrived on time with 4 people. They were able to finish in one day. Very pleased with results. Some of the patching was only okay but overall still good.

This company was excellent. No one wanted to paint the free standing cross because it was very tall. This company came and gave a free estimate that was very reasonable. They sent two painters who used a tall ladder and sanded the two crosses and painted them. Now our crosses look fresh and new as they should and we are very happy.

Well, let me start off by saying I am very picky! So when I tell you I was more than satisfied with Dream Painting, that is saying alot. Paul came on time and looked around the house and sent me a quote by email very quickly. While he was here he gave me their insurance bond, license, etc. I had several quotes, and am so happy I chose this company. The painters showed up on time, and were very very professional. They put in long hard days. The work is beautiful. They cleaned up after themselves perfectly. The real zinger, so to speak, I let John pick the color of the outside of my house! He gave me such good advice, and I just wasn't sure what would look good on my style of home. My neighbors love love love my house color! As for the inside cabinets, they are more beautiful than I expected, and once again I trusted John to pick out my color. He came with samples, but I asked him with his decades of experience what he would choose for this style of kitchen. I give my highest of recommendation.

These guys are so amazing! Right from the beginning, the estimate and presentation were very professional. What impressed me and influenced my decision the most was the fact that they are licensed and insured. That and the fact that the estimate came in lower than the others. They always arrived when they said they would. Always on time! They worked full days, as in 9 to 5. An enormous amount of work can get done in a day by three guys working 8 hours. They were done in 4 days. They did a lot of prep work, filling in cracks in my stucco and smoothing out boards. The quality of the work was superb! They were polite, and my house in GORGEOUS!!! OHHH!! and they gave me a written warranty! I do not know these guys personally. I have no interest in their business. I am just really amazed at the job they did. I have owned this house for 11 years and I have re-done everything, including having the exterior painted before, and I have never been more impressed by anyone who has done work for me as much as I am impressed with Dream Painting.

our first impression was a very good one...Paul...he was very knowledgeable and just a really nice guy...he helped us look forward to the project... our next impression...another good one...the crew...Mr Kim, Manuel and Miguel...they turned our sad little cabin into a proud resident of the forest...they patched and scraped and masked so thoroughly...very detail oriented...they all worked very well together, like a well oiled machine...and the finished product just blew us away the project took 4 days and each day they showed up on time and cleaned up afterwards...the last day they did an incredible cleanup...it's obvious that they take great pride in their work...it showed...before the actual start date, a surprise rain was on its way and Mr Kim, Manuel and Miguel came out to seal the bare wood that had been installed but was not completed...very nice we cannot say enough good things about Paul, Mr. KIm, Manuel and Miguel...we've all heard the horror stories...these guys have their own movie with a happy ending...we have an interior project coming up and we know who we're going to call...Dream Painting

I never received a quotation from David Kwak / Dream Painting. I called them (2) times to follow up; 1st time: about 10 days after the original visit, and then again (2nd time) on October 17th. Receptionist assured me they would send the quote during both phone calls but I never received it despite confirming they had my correct e-mail address. I offered them a 2nd e-mail address to use during our conversation October 17th, even though the 1st one works fine. David seemed like a professional who would provide a quote or give me a courtesy call to announce a "no-bid". I am surprised he did not just have his receptionist contact me after either of my (2) calls & advise that he had changed his mind about responding with a quote.
