Description of Work: In May 2016 we renovated one of the bathrooms in our house located in the L.A. area. We obtained estimates for a relatively simple project of re-glazing the bathtub and surrounding it with an acrylic wall system. We are very satisfied with the result and the experience. 24 Hour Bath was very easy to work with, professional and punctual in all matters related to this contract even though I would think the total cost of $4,300 was small for them. Based on our experience I recommend them highly.

+ -1 moreWe had our shower stall replaced. Dan gave us the original estimate and answered all our questions. The plan called for them to demo the shower walls/tile, remove the basin and put in a new door. Dwayne and Felipe came out to do the work. Dwayne was able to fit the new walls over the old tile. Not only did that save us from the mess that a demo would have caused but it also meant we did not have to touch up the paint around the shower. We were very pleased with the quality of their work. Don?t expect it to be done in 24 hours. If all goes well, a job like ours takes about 2 days for the initial labor then you have to wait a few more days for the door to arrive. Our job took a little extra time because we ran into one bump along the way caused by water puddling in the basin. Scott, one of the bosses, came out twice to answer our questions and calm our fears. Dwayne and Felipe worked hard to get it fixed. We are very happy with the finished product. And we don?t want to leave out Patty, back at the office, who was so helpful. One more note, as consumers you need be involved in what?s going on with your project. We?ve learned over the years that while you may make your wishes known to the salesperson, the work crew isn?t always aware of them. We had a problem with which way the shower door would open because we assumed they had the salesman?s sketches, which they didn't. Mistakes can happen with even the best of workers and Dwayne and Felipe are two of the best. So stay involved with the process. Again, we are very pleased with the final product and that we had 24 Hour Bath do the job.

Description of Work: 24 Hour Bath is a misnomer. I was originally told by the salesperson that my project would start and complete in 1 day; if I recall, it was 3 or 4 days. There is a real disconnect between sales and the actual work being completed. As the process started, I realized that the salesperson didn't have a real idea of what the estimates were to complete the work. There was no way that the work could have completed in 1 day. The person who actually did the work and lead the team was Dwayne. The quality of his work was outstanding and most of the time he arrived when he said he would!!!!! If there was a way to contract with him individually, I would. He was timely, conscientious, and left my place in good shape compared to other contractors I've worked with. Because the project didn't take the 1 day, I had to return to work. I trusted Dwayne to be in my place without me. I cannot say enough positive things about him or his work. If it weren't a waste of his installation time, he should be doing the quotes. The customers would be much happier with the estimates received and expectations would be realistic--things could be planned much better. | |I have been waiting to complete this survey to permit enough time for an outstanding item to complete. 24 Hour Bath seems overly interested in marketing to the masses and not taking care of the customers they do have. The owner got involved with a few things, but follow-through was spotty. The vendor that provided the tub was supposed to provide a partial reimbursement to me for sending the wrong tub and delaying the process--24 Hour Bath did not follow through with me to ensure that happened and obviously didn't follow-up with their vendor either. I got tired of having to reach out to them. I would think that they would check in to make sure I was satisfied. They offer a lot of marketing gimmicks to have you refer friends to their business, but I honestly wouldn't refer friends because my experience wasn't outstanding. I liked the owner--honest, good listener, and wanted to do the right thing, but the execution on many of those promises was missing. On a positive, I would mention that the ad that was in Angie's List was very confusing and the owner went back to Angie's List to try to clarify things and extended a special offer to me to help--she could've done this on her own, but wanted to deal with Angie's List with integrity. I respect that. I wanted to write a glowing review because I really liked the owner, Dwayne, and the outstanding quality of the work that was performed, but I cannot. Marketing needs to match execution.

+ -1 moreThe idea is good and I do like the concept. They were very polite and friendly. They came and they gave a rough estimate as they can do different colors and they can add accessories to the liners. The reason I said no to them is they will remove the screen doors to put the liner in but they will charge $100.00 to put them back on if that is needed. I felt that there was going to be too many additional costs with this work and I wanted to keep it at a minimum.
Description of Work: I received a quote for them to put in a bathtub liner to make a tub last longer. The tub is older and we wanted to look in to an alternative without completely redoing the tub.

+ -1 moreI didn't like them. I just decided that if I am going to spend the money, I don't want do to it cheaply. They are not that reasonable anyway. Their price quote was quite high and if I am going to invest that kind of money, I will just get a regular contractor and do it that way. They don't do tiles. They only cover up the tile with this other product. They do very basic stuff. They were good enough. I just didn't want to do it that way. They have this product and it is something that they put over your existing bath. The price was high enough that I would rather just save more money and get a contractor to do it really nice. It is fine if you have a rental house, but this is my home. They were really nice and they seemed to be honest about their work. Then they let me go to their showroom to look at their work, but their showroom wasn't very impressive. Their showroom was why I decided I didn't want it. It wasn't really what I was looking for. They were responsive. I would not use them, because it is not what I want.

The initial phone call friendly, courteous, extremely helpful; answered all my questions, set appointment date and sent me picture of gentlemen who would be arriving to meet with husband and myself. + -1 moreI had a old shower with old tile walls with cracked glass door and I was tired of recaulking the old tile so with the new shower the walls are easy to clean and with a nice glass door.. The staff work straight thru from 10:30 to 8:30 PM and did excellent job

+ -1 moreWe had our old grungy bathtub and fixtures replaced by 24 Hour Bath last month and my husband and I are so happy with our new tub remodel. The whole experience was excellent. Everyone we dealt with at 24 Hour Bath was prompt, courteous and professional. Sean the sales rep., gave us design ideas and options that other companies didn't even mention to us. The installers, Dwayne and Jeff were awesome. They showed up in the morning and by evening, everything was done beautifully and neatly. Also, out of all the quotes we received, 24 Hour Bath's was the best. I highly recommend this company.
