Description of Work: First of all, I'm a General Contractor who has flipped several houses in the area. I had John come in to provide an estimate for upgrading an electrical system for a 1500 sq ft mobile in a senior park. Without even looking at the job he wanted $10,000 just to change the service - - no outlets or lighting. I have had fully licensed, bonded and insured electronical contractors upgrade services and REWIRE complete 2000+ sq ft homes (including A/C, outlets, lighting, garage, outdoor, coax, phone and alarm) and they only charged $6,500 . He uses scare tactics and has gotten his price from scared old ladies telling them that if thay didn't hire him their houses would burn to the ground and that no insurance company would pay for that claim. In my opinion, he is a scoundral. RUN!

He kept saying our whole house system is shot and that we needed all of our wiring and electrical throughout the house replaced. He said I would have a house fire if I do not get this fixed. He said it was going to cost $12,000 to do the work. I told him I wanted to check with other electrical companies first and he said that was not neccessary and that he had been in business for 40 years. Two other electrical companies said there was nothing wrong with our electrical system and that he scams people in this manner.
Description of Work: We had a short in our diswasher cord. He put on a new cord and plug on it and charged us $1500.00.
