+ -1 moreThere are several upholstery companies on Perez Road. I had a list of addresses in my car and kept my eye out for one that 'looked good' a couple of times when happened to be driving down Perez Road. Although the facility was not as new as some of the other upholstery stores (which, btw, were harder to find and often closed), this store was always open, with the door propped open. So, I ended up going in there. My original intention was just to get an estimate (which I had expected to be high), but instead I left the cushion (and dropped its mate off soon after), and they had it done within 2 days, in time for my weekend company, and at a good price. The owners impressed me as people who wanted my business and wanted me to be satisfied.
Description of Work: Cathedral City Upholstery replaced the filling in 2 couch back cushions for me. Although the original filling had been simply stuffed into the upholstery, they made a bag for the stuffing and then put the stuffing in. They asked my preference in regard to firmness and placed a hard, single-piece cushion in the middle of the bag, with looser stuffing around it to fill out the upholstery. The end result was a tremendous improvement on what I had had. They only charged $40 each, I believe. This was less than an estimate I had gotten in Colorado several years ago.
