At first work was satisfactory and we worked out a schedule but he would not show up, not leave any messages and not return our calls over several months. The last time he was supposed to show up but never did, and did not call us, we waited 2 months and hired another company. If he did want the job he should have told us.

Called them for an estimate. Never received a call back.

Sid did an amazing job. He was very thorough, meticulous and always kept us informed of next steps in what was a big project. He reconfigured every sprinkler, replaced the valves, treated the ground for root eating insects, fertilizer, and put down beautiful new sod and would call every week to recommend adjustments to our watering schedule. He is now doing our weekly maintenance and we couldn't be happier. His prices are very fair and he does an excellent job.

They did very nice work the first time they came out. Can't complain about that. After that first time, it was just mainly the lawn that they mowed and very little else. Every time my Mom asked Sid to do something other than the lawn, like trim back tree limbs, he always had an excuse as to why he couldn't do it and he didn't. If he wanted more money for these services, he never said so. All of a sudden, Sid just stopped coming by to do the work. No phone call or any other communication from him, to inform us that he would be quitting. This is very unprofessional.

Sid is very responsible and helpful, always doing what we ask - the first time we ask it!

I have used Green-Thumbelinas for about a year now. They do bi-weekly yard maintenance and they landscaped our backyard this summer. They do a great job each week they come, and the backyard looks amazing! Sid is great, and his wife, Judy is too! I would highly recommend them.

He came at 8:30. He was ahead of time. I needed have plastic put down. I am very particular. He put the plastic all around. The 1st he took down, he had to be very careful. He was so good about everything. He did a fantastic job. He was so nice. I haven't had anyone do a job as nice and clean. I was very impressed. The price was fabulous.

Sid did not show up on the agreed upon day, nor did he call to reschedule. I called Sid the following Monday and was told he had been sick on Friday. Then he said that he was short handed and couldn't take the job.

Sid and one member from his crew arrive each week at approximately the same time. The two work for approximately 20-25 minutes. The trimming of the bushes has been excellent and looks professional. Mowing the lawn has been fine but the edge trimming is more like a scalping. We are down to bare dirt in some areas and with our water restrictions, we are struggling to get the grass to re-grow. There are several patches of weeds growing in the lawn that are not addressed by Sid or his crew as promised in our initial meeting. I have not seen any signs of fertilizing. When using the blower, debris is left on the porch that I must sweep off when I arrive home. The rest of the debris is in the street gutters and the middle of the street which is not very professional or courteous to our neighbors. When I have asked Sid to perform a particular task in the yard, it is done promptly and accurately. It is possible that I really need a landscaper to help us with the front yard rather than someone who only does yard maintenance.

After a few reschedules, due to the weather, Sid showed up and I was delighted. He was punctual and professional. The crew showed up for the second visit and I returned home to find the work done. It seems difficult to find reliable and consistent gardeners; I believe Sid offers that. I have no complaints and look forward to adding projects, as our budget permits!

Overall, Sid and his crew were very professional, and made sure the job was done well. He also made good suggestions on how I can take care of the area ongoing.

Sid arrived for the initial estimate as promised (Saturday @ 7am). After showing him my front and back yard, he was hired on the spot. He is professional, knowledgeable and a really nice guy. My entire property was in need of cutting, pruning, trimming, mowing, cleaning, etc. WOW!! Sid did such a fantastic job. I am just thrilled. I have also hired him to do my bi-monthly maintenance.

Fantastic! Unbelievable amount of work done. Punctual, very knowledgable about roses, polite, great suggestions, knows about all plants. Perfect job. Coming back to install drip system, and monthly maint. Sid works along with his crew.

I could not afford to do the work at that price. I would use him in the future for other work if the price was more reasonable.

I can't recommend Sid highly enough! Sid and his crew did a fantastic job. They turned our dirty over grown mess of a yard into a beautiful and easy to maintain oasis. Sid was very knowledgeable and new all the different existing plants in our yard, and how to revive the plants, as well as what to plant in the rest of the yard given the amount of light available. He had a great recommendation for gravel in our side yard to keep the dirt down, which our two dogs are enjoying very much :) Sid is very professional and easy to talk to and reach by phone. I highly recommend his services.

They keep my yard up very well and there is no drama attached to them. They are very dependable.

Sid came out to give an estimate for the intial clean up job - around $500.00 to trim, mulch, weed and remove small potato tree. Now he and his team come once or twice a month for upkeep/maintenance. the yard looks great - I imagine our neighbors were happy once we finally got someone to work on our yard. I highly recommend Sid and Green Thumb.

Sid is great! He shows up as per our pre-arranged schedule weekly. He does a great job with the lawns and general yard tidying. He always cleans up after himself. You can't go wrong with having Sid do your weekly yard work!

I had used Sid 15 yrs ago to landscape and install a french drain on a prior home I owned so I didn't hesitate to call him again to do my new home. This job was big and labor intensive. His price estimate was good based on the amount of work involved. The time estimate was about 6 weeks and it was completed within that time. He showed up when he was scheduled to with his crew and they worked very hard, even in very hot weather. I gave Sid my and quot;visionand quot; of what I wanted my yard to be and he created it. Sid handled everything from start to finish with minimal delays or problems. He always kept me informed on their progress, what they were doing and always made sure I understood everything. He stayed within his price estimate for the contracted work. I paid a little more ONLY because I changed a few of the details as we got closer to the completion of the project. My yard was completed one year ago and I wanted to wait to write the review so I could see how it would look a year later. It looks fabulous, especially since most of the plants have now grown and filled in! I have received compliments from Day 1 and still do receive them. I use Sid for weekly maintenance and he keeps my yard neat and tidy. Any questions, issues or problems that I have, he responds quickly and addresses the issue or resolves the problem. One neighbor was very impressed with his work and called upon him to do their yard in their new home when they moved last year. I would not hesitate to recommend him for any landscaping work.

Sid came out and gave us a bid on the job that we thought was very fair, gave us a time and a date he could start and an estimate of the time it would take to do the job. We received bids from $200 up to $1,250 so Sid's bid of $450 seemed more than reasonable. Plus, Sid was the only person that really went into detail about how different aspects of the job would be done. Sid and a helper showed up at 7:30 a.m. (on the dot) the day we had agreed on and they had the job done by 1:30 p.m. Sid put in a curved barrier strip and contoured the yard so that the overall appearance was just beautiful. The final result was better that we had expected and I plan on having Sid do more work for us in the future. The overall cost of the project, the professionalism exhibited by Sid and his helper and the end result were just excellent! If asked, I would give Green Thumb the highest recommendation.

Wonderful work and excellent clean- up

I hired them last year for on-going yard service. I have been very happy with their reliability and care. Definitely a step up from my previous service for which I paid a higher fee. I'm sticking with Sid and company!

Met with Sid at our property to review the landscaping. We discussed what needed to be done now and some of our plans for the yard in the future. Sid seemed like a good fit and was chosen from three candidates. The general clean-up was done and basic yard maintenance has begun. Since it's still winter there isn't much work to do so far. I will say that they have kept to the schedule. This was a big issue with the previous yard man. We have identified the first project and Sid was quick to respond with a quote. The work should be completed soon. I think it will take 6-8 months before we know if we made the right choice. So far so good.

Everything that was reviewed about Sid and his buisness is SPOT on. He truly is AMAZING!! Sid is the quinticenctial professional! I cannot say enough about how wonderful he is. I really liked him when he came to do an estimate, but fell in love with him and his work when he finished my yard. His price is VERY reasonable, fair, and in my opinion better than competative. We used him for an initial yard clean up (we had A-LOT of overgrowth) and now we have him come out to our house twice a month for yard maintence.

Sid came out on two occasions. The first time we liked what he did so much that we had him expand from what our project was going to be originally. He was prompt, friendly, and hardworking. He made suggestions on plants which helped us make decisions and ultimately make the project look better. We are very pleased with the project. He takes great pride in his work. We would not hesitate to recommend him and will use him again.
