We have used The Rug Bug for several years and again, as always, Mary and her crew were superior! We called, made an appointment, requested some separated billing for some of rooms, and as always Mary came through! Highly recommend this company, much better and more reasonable than Coit.

The Rug Bug was the first business I contacted regarding having my 24 year old carpet steam-cleaned. I had selected three businesses to request estimates from but after talking to Mary, I decided to hire their services. She was so pleasant and extremely helpful and patient with my questions and was comfortable to talk to regarding the pet stains. She was able to provide a ballpark estimate for the combination living/family room and hallway and set up an appointment to have a person come out to look things over in order to provide a concrete estimate. The estimate appointment was quick and went well and a final estimate was provided which included a pre-spotting treatment for any stains. The cost seemed reasonable and they were hired. The appointment was made for two days later, on a Saturday. They arrived on time, used the front yard faucet for their equipment, got right to work and was done in a little over an hour. The owner and one young man did the work and they were very pleasant but focused on cleaning the carpets. They didn?t have to move any furniture since I emptied out the rooms but they will help do that if needed. The carpets looked visibly cleaner, smelled nice and some difficult stains were surprisingly removed. Their customer service is exceptional. When I was placing fans in the living room after they had left, I noticed part of the carpet was dry. Since there were several pet stains in the dry area I contacted them immediately to report it. The owner promptly returned my call and arrived to take care of it. He apologized for the oversight and inconvenience and took care of it immediately. In all honesty, it could have been missed due to my interruptions to them when they were trying to work. I was relieved that he was willing to come back so quickly without making me feel "bad" or inconvenienced. They did an excellent job and were easy to deal with. I will definitely hire them again.

They're wonderful. They're not a big business, they're just a single owner company and they do wonderful work. They're fabulous. It's a wonderful company to do business with.

It went well and they had to come back out, but they were very professional and thorough about it.

They did a thorough job at half the price of our previous carpet cleaners.

There was 2 guys that came to the house to do the job. they both were very professional and did a very good job. They answered all my questions and helped with my expectations.

Once again, everything went extremely well. I've been using The Rug Bug for about 15 years to clean the carpets in my personal residence. Starting in 2010, I also began having them clean the carpeting in my 1,500 square foot rental house as well. They are always very accommodating with respect to scheduling. Byron always shows up on time, does a great job, and charges a very reasonable price. He's also dependably personable. What more could you ask for? I'll continue to use The Rug Bug as long as Byron stays in the carpet cleaning business.

GREAT!!! They cleaned a 13 year old carpet with heavy stains in several areas and made it look almost new. It looked so good that several realitors commented that it looked like we were very easy on the carpet, just the opposite, we raised 2 wild kids and a dirty old man in it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GREAT JOB USE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Mom's carpet is bady stained by dog pee. We are trying to decide whether to replace the carpet, or have it cleaned. I called Rug Bug and had a long discussion with the owner. She pointed out that if the dog isnt completely potty trained, we would feel really bad if she pee'd on a new rug. I totally agree. We made an appointment for them to come out, (for free) and use their special equipment to detect exactly where the problems are and whether the padding is involved. She said they have enzymes they inject to neutralize the pee. Unfortunately we had to cancel the appointment. We plan to reschedule soon. I was very impressed with the company from this one conversation with the owner. I look forward to further dealings with them. I will update this when we have finished. The company came out on June 19 to Mom's condo and gave an estimate to clean entire carpet, including dealing with the dog pee in the bedroom. They came out to clean the carpet on June 26 They arrived on time and took approximately 3 hours to clean the carpet. We are very happy with their professionalism and the job they did. The carpet now has no stains or odor. We are very happy with the job they did. It is so nice to be able to use a small local business and get good service at a very reasonable price. I live in Escondido, Ca. But the company is in Sacramento where my mother lives.

I had carpets cleaned in May, which were heavily soiled. They turned out beautifully, so I had them scotch guarded. All the stains came out and they looked fantastic. The Rug Bug Inc. did a great job!

Called and asked if they did carpet repair because our carpet had come up at the entrance. They said yes and quoted a price for regluing. When they came out the price changed to 3x the quoted amount because they really didn't do that. We let them go and called back later. We were just going to pay the higher amount to get our carpet glued back down. They called back later stating they wouldn't even do it now because they "don't really do that". Shouldn't have it listed as a service and shouldn't quote a price if they don't perform that type of service. They also scheduled out 5 days. Used another company that came out immediately.

After Rug Bug finished and the carpets had dried, the cleaned areas matched those where there was no traffic or dirt.This is the first time when I was completely satisfied with the work done.

.Our dog made a mess on our large, oriental rug in the family room. We took to it with stain cleaners and the like, but wanted to make sure everything was cleaned out of the fibers, since those wool rugs can be pretty dense. Rug Bug is family owned, professional, efficient, and priced well. They were responsive and able to come out and see us within a few days of scheduling. We were happy with the quality of their work and felt comfortable with them in our home. We recommend them and would use them should the need arise in the future.

Overall, it was a very pleasant experience from start to finish.

The Rug Bug men arrived on time; in fact they came early after ascertaining by phone that early was fine with us. The were very friendly, professional, and efficient. The carpet--including some former spots where our dogs had vomited or done evey worse--looks great.

The house was rented and when the tenants left the carpets were in very bad shape with lots of heavy stains and foot traffic dirt. I called Rug Bug and they gave me an estimate over the phone according to the square footage to be cleaned. They called me before their scheduled time to let me know they were delayed by about 20 minutes . When they arrived they got right to work. All the carpets were cleaned within 2 hours. Thanks to them we did not have to replace the carpets and I will most likely be using their service to stretch the rugs.

Experience with Rug Bug went very well. They were efficient, thorough, and good people to work with.

When I met the Rug Bug owner, initially I had some reservations based on our interaction. , But I knew his reviews were topnotch and wanted the job done within a month, so I took a chance. Very glad I did. The carpet cleaning and repair were both well worth the price we paid. He came and personally supervised his men. And one of his workers, with prior carpet installation experience, did a beautiful job fixing our carpet seam and a ragged edge next to a tiled entry. Plus, no marks were left on our walls from their equipment. Yes, we will certainly use the Rug Bug next time.

They were wonderful. It was $45 a chair and they did a wonderful job. They were very prompt and there was no mess and no fuss. They did a fabulous job and I was really impressed.

called Rug Bug for service 2 days hence - they were available. Due to a major miscue on my part, service could not be performed that day (Rug Bug people did show up on time!). They were able to re-schedule for the following day at no extra charge. And the carpet cleaning was PERFECT! My 13-yr old carpets looked wonderful and ready for many more years of wear and tear.

We used The Rug Bug, Inc. based on the Angie's List reviews. They lived up to all the positive reviews. They got up all the dirt from the areas they cleaned and the areas they cleaned now look like new. It's two months later and everything still looks great. In the past, after we used other carpet cleaning services, the carpets would start showing dirt again within a couple of weeks. We don't have the need to get our carpets cleaned often but when we do we will definitely be using The Rug Bug, Inc. again. Kudos to The Rug Bug, Inc. for a job well done!

Took a few hours, but overall, very quick. They arrived on an overcast day, so we knew the drying time may take a bit longer. They turned up the heater in the house and got to work. One guy worked on stretching the carpet while another cleaned the rugs inside, then took them out. Then they did the couch and chair, and moved them into the kitchen. Finally it was to the carpet. It was done quickly, without any problems. The ONLY issue I had, was a preexisting problem. I only had them stretch the carpet in areas where it was starting to show an issue. Once wet, the other areas that weren't stretched started to show "waves" in the carpet, which were very visible and a tripping hazard. I called and left a message. I was advised to let the carpet dry, but that it's not normal for that to happen. Luckily, once dry, the carpet did go back down and is currently not an issue. I would definitely call them back to have them clean the carpets again, or stretch the rest of the carpets.

They showed up on time and were done in an hour. The carpets look great!

The carpet guy arrived on time & I explained what I wanted done.He was very accomodating. I explained that I had my whole house carpets cleaned by another carpet company (Stainmasters) on June 28, 2013 & there were spots on the carpet left over from that cleaning. I was not happy with the results but just wanted to get the downstairs done before Christmas. He told me that he would do a deep cleaning & that the carpet would stay wet for the next 24 hrs. He said to call him if any more spots showed up in a few days. On 12/11/13, he did have to come back out to clean one stubborn spot on the carpet & since then the carpet has looked very nice. I plan to call him in the spring to do my whole house carpets.

They are very reasonable and very good.
