SWEDA CONSTRUCTION

Freeman and Young Roofers were doing some roof work and contracted with Sweda Construction for our gutters. As soon as they were installed we noticed leaks from many of the seams. One section that was supposed to be attached to the wall wasn't and when we had a heavy rain, we had a waterfall coming in through our sliding glass door. We contacted Sweda many times, each time getting the response that someone would get back to us. Our roofers called and got the same response. No one after months of calling ever returned a phone call. For paying $1500 we should have a job that was done right the first time. Now we have to pay someone else to fix their mistakes. We live in an area with older homes that need new gutters/roofing all the time. We have told all of our neighbors to stay away from Sweda Construction.

This was a little bit of a complex job, as I was having my roof, HVAC, and gutters all replaced at the same time by three different contractors and trying to get it all done quickly enough to take advantage of a rebate program on the HVAC. Sweda worked really quickly to accommodate my needs. A paperwork mistake on their part caused a one-day delay. One long section of gutter was damaged, and they replaced it immediately and without question. Their phone service was sometimes a little gruff, but they came through really well when it counted.

THEY WERE VERY PROMPT AND THOROUGH AND TOOK THEIR TIME TO MAKE THEM JUST RIGHT. THERE ARE NO LITTLE CREASES IN THE NEW GUTTERS, AND THEY WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND EVEN ASKED HOW WE LIKED THEM WHEN THEY WERE DONE AND SAID THEY WOULD GLADLY RE-DO ANY ON PART THAT WE DID NOT LIKE.
