Description of Work: First trip he fixed so water would heat up but did not change the regulator? Needed to run for a few days . The water heated up but did not cool down to desired temperature. He returned and replaced the regulator and it works fine now. He is one of 2 people in Sac area that still works on the older spas. The date of service is approximate as it was so long ago!

Description of Work: He came out to look at the sap to find the problem but he informed us that he wouldn't be able to get to what he thought was the problem. He didn't do any work but we would use him again in the future if we needed that type of service. He also came out very quickly after the first contact.

+ -1 moreThe job was great an Carl is a great spa mechanic. He is the only one who will work on our spa in the future.
Description of Work: Our spa had been moved from one location in the back yard to another. We had to re wire the spa back to its new location and I had a electrician come and hook it back up. Unfortunately he did not know exactly how to get the spa wiring correct. Carl show up and within a short time had the spa up and running. Our spa is 8 years old and not had a lot of attention paid to it over the years. Carl has found and fixed our heating problem, the automatic shutdown issue and has ordered some replacement jets we needed. He truly is a magician when it comes to bring a spa back to its original working order.

Description of Work: Confirmed what was wrong with hot tub..needs new heater.. had an estimate of repair on the spot... very professional and fair and punctual... all around nice guy. Extremely helpful... I would definitely recommend him... He went out of his way to arrive timely and that day...right before the Holiday.

+ -1 moreSome time ago a spa man (NOT CARL) came by to fix the spa and since I am on Social Security, I couldn't afford it. He told me to order one on line and have a family member replace it. Well, I ordered it on line (at a cost of $280) and when it arrived I was in the hospital. After a couple of months of rehab, I called Spa Magic to put in the pump. CARL WAS WONDERFUL! He recognized that I had ordered the wrong pump, but the onlone parts service REFUSED to take it back! Carl knew I couldn't afford to waste that money so he volunteered to try to make the pump I ordered work. He couldn't ... but he didn't charge me a cent for all the work he attempted on my behalf. Now he is trying to find a place to take the "wrong" pump so that I can save some money. CARL HAS GONE ABOVE AND BEYOND for me!! While I don't know what the final cost will be, I do know that I can trust him and that it will be a very fair price. Now I know he can't do this every time, but his heart is big and he should be rewarded for that! So I plan to tell the world about him and his professional/personal kindness. Did I mention that CARL IS WONDERFUL? He is!
