Sherrie Swass Interiors

Description of Work: We originally hired Sherrie for a $200 consulting session, which was the best $200 I've ever spent on my house. We subsequently engaged her for the redecoration of about half of our interior (kitchen, living room, dining room, family room--everything except the bedrooms and baths). We were design savvy enough to know that what we had was ugly, but no more--in other words, pretty clueless as to what to do with it. Sherrie was great at assessing our interior, pointing out strengths and weaknesses, and creating options going forward. She gave us a prioritized list of what we should consider changing, and for each step, multiple options. Sherrie was very good at giving us options and letting us decide how much we wanted to spend on any given component (and whether to address that component at all). She also worked hard to re-use existing furnishings where possible We are very pleased with the results. Our interior now looks like someone actually knew what they were doing. Our space is now a lot more enjoyable to be in. The total project cost approximately $16,000 including paint, furniture, lighting, decorations, artwork and some window treatments. We bought some of the furniture, artwork and window treatments through Sherrie (approximately $9,600 of merchandise) and the rest through suppliers that she led us to. We used a painter (Frank Caroddo) and an electrician (Butler Electric) that we found through her references, and both were really outstanding. We fully expect to use Sherrie for our next round of remodeling.

Description of Work: I hired Sherrie for an in home consultation as we were beginning to remodel our house. She came for two hours and we discussed many things, paint colors, flooring, etc. She brought lots of books to look through.
