Richardsons Concrete Effects

Fantastic!

My stamped concrete patio was in terrible condition, which required grinding down the top surface and reinstalling new stamped concrete. Richardson's Concrete did a fantastic job and I'm very happy with the results. Gina and crew were great to work with. I wanted to create a Bluestone type look for the stamped concrete and Gina worked patiently with me on colors and textures to achieve the effect I was looking for. The crew who came out each day were hard working and always left a clean work area when they left. Gina was out often to check up on things and handled the final touch-ups on the coloring of the concrete. Super job all around! I would highly recommend Richardson's Concrete - the quality of their work is top-notch!

They were excellent.

We worked through Gina on most of this . Her crew were on time, cleaned up daily and professional at all times. Work went well and we are very pleased with the finished product.

It went well. They were very responsive from the first phone call, through estimate and deciding scope, and doing the work. Gina runs the field crew, and she knows her business. (My only issue is the concrete specks that were spattered during the stripping stage onto the surrounding surfaces. Should have either covered the lower part of the house, or else cleaned up.) But the patio looks wonderful, very professional. We will hire them again, when this needs renewing.

It went real well very good at there job

In 2011, we had tired of our and quot;exposed aggregateand quot; concrete patio, but didn't want to tear the whole thing out. I found Richardson's Concrete Effects on the internet. They were very responsive and came out quickly to give us an estimate. They came out later to help us with color choices, and they custom mixed color samples until they were able to match the color of our nearby flagstone path. We were concerned that some of our plants might be stepped on or damaged during the installation, so we asked if they could be careful around all the plants lining the patio and walkway. The installers were actually more careful with the plants than I probably would have been. It's been two years since the stamped concrete was put in, and the color appears to be holding great. No issues with with the quality of the workmanship. Would recommend to anyone looking to freshen the look of an old patio.

Richardsons Concrete Effects they did poor workmanship. Their workers washed the concrete into my water drains outside which damaged them. I had to replace all drains outside due to the concrete washed into my drains. UPDATE: I did take Mark and Gena, owners of and quot;Richardson's Concrete Effects,and quot; to court twice. The first time the Pro-term Judge did not know any thing about Concrete Effects, so Gena proceeded to tell the Judge about the installation process - her professional side of it. Gena and Mark being the Contractors told the whole story. I had provided the pictures, but that meant nothing, since I guess I was considered a layman. The Judge did not even bother to look at the pictures. The Second time, The Pro-term Judge was not really interested because and quot;Richardson's Concrete Effectsand quot; won the first time. I told the Judge it did not rain until the week of March 12, 2011. Gena produced a national weather report, which apparently had nothing to do with the weather in our area. The Judge took her word, anyway. I have since secured a local weather report contradicting her testimony in court. I might add. I am 77 years old, and on and quot;Richardson's Concrete Effectsand quot; advertisement. it states $250.00 senior citizens discount. I never received a discount of any kind. I am attaching a set of pictures of my property which show the work done by the and quot;Richardson's Concrete Effectsand quot; and the work that had to be done by another contractor to correct the damage,that and quot;Richardson's Concrete Effectsand quot; had done to my property. Our house closed on 12/26/2012 and we were looking for some work to be done with the floors being a major item. No general contractors were available due to the holidays, however Mark, who specializes in concrete had some availability and scheduled a meeting with us on the 28th I believe. We told Mark beforehand that we would remove the carpet, pad, baseboard, doors, tackboard, and nails. We asked if he could remove some of the linoleum at the entryway which he did without including the removal of the linoleum in his final price. Mark's people came out a few day later and got right to work. They took about 1 week (7 days) or so to finish about 1000 sq feet, which was expected as he told us upfront that he was fitting us in around other jobs, and as we hadn't moved in yet this was no problem. We were only charged $4 a sq ft and the floor came out looking beautiful, Mark's wife Gina, performs the staining and sealing portion, which took some time to do because our heater was out of commission and it doesn't dry very quickly in cold weather, but again we expected this and it wasn't an issue. Additionally, Mark was kind enough to recommend HD supply as a place to buy new baseboard, and they had an excellent deal we took advantage of. In summary Mark and Gina are extremely professional, competent, trustworthy, and offer a quality job done in a timely manner for a very reasonable price. At first we wanted to do tile, but had received quotes from a couple of others (who didn't look at the house) for over 8-10 thousand dollars. Mark and Gina even helped us understand what is the best way to care for the floor. I highly recommend looking at their company website for pictures of their work, as you will see it is extremely beautiful and affordable. I would and have highly recommended Richardson's Concrete Effects to friends, family, fellow angie's list members, and anybody else that would be interested, I couldn't have been happier with their service or product.
