When I called Miller Roofing I thought it would be like all the other companies I contacted. Meaning voicemail, no return phone call, or the promise to have someone come out the next day but never show. To my surprise Dean answered the phone and showed up at his scheduled time. He quickly assessed the situation, gave me a fair quote, and was able to give me a committed completion date! My new roof was done in 2 days and the process was seamless. One expects professionalism and quality work from an experienced and ethical company, and Dean Miller delivers this. When things go right, professionalism is a cake walk. I think that the real test comes when something goes wrong. In my case, a random unforseen thing happened while my roof was being installed. It was a bone dry summer night but my sunroom ceiling was leaking. It started late at night while my roof replacement was in process, and I called Dean Miller and he personally answered his phone. It was truely a mystery, but Dean said he would be there when his crew arrived first thing in the morning, and assured me that whatever the issue it would be taken care of. They identified the problem. My house had been replumbed through the attic with non-metal pipes and at one small spot the piping touched the top of the attic and a roofing nail punctured it. 1600 sq foot roof and only about a 4 inch by one inch area where a pipe touched the roof, but a nail had hit it. Dean Miller did not jerry rig a fix. He took full responsibility and called a licensed plummer to make professional repair to the pipe instead of just slapping a little cement on the hole. He provided pictures of the damage and the repair. He pulled out and replaced any damp issulation. He also had a professional drywall plasterer fix the damage to my sunroom ceiling. It was really great to not even have a moment of stress or worry and that things would be taken care of by Mr. Miller. He did the right thing, even though it surely cut into his profit margin on the job. Beyond that, he did not charge me full price for the new plywood required for the overall roofing job in consideration of any distress the situation may have caused me. My roof is beautiful, the price was the best of three estimates, and Mr. Miller really demonstrated his integrity and professionalism.

I highly recommend Dean Miller. He is honest, personable, and showed up on time. He repaired a leak around my chimney and sealed and painted vents. He could have opted for a much more expensive solution to my problem. Other than the new looking vents you would never know he was there. No mess left behind. It was a very pleasant experience.

I called Dean Miller and he was out the next morning. He was referred to me by a satisfied friend. He inspected and repaired several areas on my roof. He also found the source of a leak that three other roofing companies could not. He repaired it on the spot! He found several other potential future leak spots and repaired them. He was neat, clean and efficient! I have a big, two story home with a solar system that he had to navigate around. His price was far below what I had expected to pay.(It was so reasonable that I felt like I was taking advantage of him!) He travelled over 80 miles to get here. Most contractors say "I fixed it-trust me". Not Dean. He took before and after photos to show me what he did. And-he is one hellava nice guy! If you want a roofer that is on time, does great work at an unbeatable price- call Dean Miller.
