Description of Work: JC Tile performed the demolition on my old and tired tile and hardwood floors in my foyer, powderroom and den. Then they installed new porcelain tile that I picked out at one of the suggested tile stores. The whole process went flawlessly and if I ever need to do anything with floors in my house again, I will call these folks. It was a terrific and positive experience; it could have not have gone better.

+ 0 moreI can't say enough about the quality of their work. Jamie Hughe's card says it all: "owner/craftsman." Our neighbor is having them do her two bathrooms. Why? She was knocked out by the quality work. My wife, who was planning on having solid granite counter tops in the kitchen, decided to go with granite tiles instead. Why? Jamie's easy style, professionalism and obvious pride in doing quality work.
Description of Work: They, removed the washer, dryer & linoleum from the laundry room and linoleum from two bathrooms. They then installed high-end ceramic tile in the three rooms.

+ 1 moreThe owner's business card says it all: black card with red line around the edges and a silver diamond in the center with red facets. It shows elegant taste and really catches your eye, just as our kitchen now does for visitors. Every reaction has been "Oh, wow!" Their work is that good. Here's an example of how Jamie and his brother Jason consider their work a craft, not "work". My wife picked a grout and Jamie told Jason what grout to use. Jason objected, saying the fine textured group used for the smooth granite tiles wouldn't go with the rougher textured limestone backsplash. We said "sure, why not?" (I mean, what the *expletive* do WE know?). It turns out Jason was spot on. A tiny detail maybe, but it was all these "tiny details" that added up to a very high quality counter installation. And talk about honest? We had to go out of town before they finished but felt perfectly comfortable leaving them our house key. And this is ME, a very untrusting guy!
Description of Work: They removed the tile and backsplash from all our countertops, laid down a "mud" base and installed granite tiles on the countertops and a limestone backsplash that extends up to the base of the upper cupboards.

+ 0 moreJames was great to work with. He gave me an estimate over the phone. Showed up when he said he would. Cleaned up when he left. The tile work is beautiful. The joints are tight and even. He and his brother were so considerate. They called when they were on their way over even when they're on time. They let me know if they were running behind. They were very efficient. Took only a day and a half from start to finish for both rooms. Seemed like really good, honest people. I would use them again in a heartbeat.
Description of Work: Tiled the bathroom and laundry room floors, removed and reinstalled the washer and dryer and toilet, prepared floor, and caulked around the tub and toilet.
