Owner was very pleasant to deal with and delivered as promised

The gentleman who came to our house was a little rude and abrasive. He reviewed the work we wanted done, and told us he was too busy to start anything that day. The work still hasn’t been completed, and we haven’t even heard back him. He hasn't returned our calls. I get that everyone has bad days, but I would never call him again.

I'm disappointed with the service provided by Handyman Contractors. I had a contractor come out and give me a bid for some minor home repairs. He offered to purchase an appliance for me at his cost which was 3 times the cost of what I could find at home depot. He gave me a date for when he would be doing the work and when I didn't hear back I called and he postponed the work. When he did come one of the things I had asked him to do I had another contractor do the job. He did another smaller job but left it unfinished and charged me the original estimate. He said he would get back with me to repair it or install a new item but I never heard back. I feel ver taken advantage of by this company and paid way too much for the service. I will never use this company again.

It went ok. The handyman was on time. I think I requested too many things. I now see streaking on the paint on the door. Otherwise, the quality of the work seems ok.

Mike was excellent and his experience and can-do personality were great. While we had hoped to install 4 windows. It turned out that the original windows were much harder to remove then normal. This is normal for remodeling projects and with Mike's help we just worked on solving them. Would strongly recommend Mike.

My sun room had patio doors that would not lock properly. Needless to say I felt unsafe to have my doors the way they were. I called Handyman Contractor and they came out a day or two later to look at my problem and give me an estimate. They were willing to do the entire job that day but I was unavailable so they came back the next morning and got it done very quickly. The doors lock perfectly and I feel much more secure in my home. I would recommend them to others. They were very professional and very reasonably priced. For the parts, they do not up charge the cost of the materials and they even show you a receipt for the amount they spent on the cost for materials. I am very satisfied and feel they did a wonderful job!

I got 4 hours of labor as part of a "Big Deal" and used them for these repairs. Jeff did a very professional job. This was not a challenging job for him by any means, but he clearly put the effort into getting it done well. I would use Jeff again.

This individual appeared promptly and was friendly and professional. He performed all the chores I had on a list for him and then some. This was an Angie's Special of four hours of handyman work for $99. After three hours, he called me at work and said he'd done everything on the list! He was creative in finding additional jobs, like the driveway gate and offered to come by my work for me to sign the paperwork which was quite thoughtful. I've looked over his work, and everything was done very well. Of course, I can't see the roof. After cleaning out the gutters and cleaning all the old leaves off the roof, the individual told me he did NOT think I needed a new roof. I had mentioned to him that it had been recommended to me by a roofing contractor that I add a layer of shingles on the back of my house. After this comment, I'm going to seek another opinion! This may end up saving me a substantial amount of money!

The representative was on time, and obviously knew what he was doing. He planned the three projects to conserve time. He took care to itemize all material he may need, and, even tho my window sills are white paint, he made sure the shade of white paint was correct and matched with the house. My gate has metal posts that he was able to re-use. However, the frame of the gate and the boards were all replaced in a lovely redwood. The hinges were upgraded, and the original latch was able to be reused. The door bell just needed a new button, replaced easily and cheaply. Overall, I appreciate the attention to detail, and the quality of work.

This contractor came up on a search for "painter, Cabinet Refacing/Restoration. They had a grade of "A" so I called and was told by the receptionist that whoever came out would be ready to paint on the day of the appointment. I specifically asked if they would have a sprayer on the truck and was assured. I scheduled, he came out but was only able to give me an estimate that day, no sprayer, no time to do the job that day anyway. The job was to spray paint 4 plantation shudder doors, the estimate was for $170 labor only, I purchased the paint, 2.5 gallons were used by the time the job was done. I am a diy'er with much experience painting however because the doors have a ton of slats and I wanted it to be silky smooth with no drips or brush strokes, I decided to bite the bullet and pay a pro. The painter arrived a week later as promised and was very friendly. He had just purchased a new Wagner sprayer, the kind any of us could buy at Home Depot, in fact, I have a Wagner and won't use it because it sputters too much. The job was uneven, smooth in places and so uncovered and rough in places I could still see the primer underneath. One day gone and I was not about to accept these results, he agreed. We rescheduled for Saturday on his own time so he could complete the job. I had to work Saturday so I left my husband in charge of accepting the work and paying the bill. My husband said the painter worked very hard, it looked ok to him so at the end of day 2, he paid the bill. In fairness to the painter, he told me that painters never us Behr Paint from Home Depot so I accept responsibility for choosing an inferior product. The whole reason I called a painter that specializes in cabinets was because I wanted it to come out nice, like a pro did it. I guess my mistake was calling for handyman services and not a painter specifically. It's pretty bad. Smooth along the four outer sides (top,bottom and 2 sides) but the slats were not covered in a consistent manner. In certain light the inconsistency is very noticeable, and the inferior uneven quality of the job becomes very obvious the second you touch the doors. He also caused a 2 inch chip on one of the doors driving a nail at the top of the door, too close to the edge. I did not complain to the owner because I paid $170 for what ended up being approximately a 10 hour job. I don't trust them to get it right anyway.

The estimator was pleasant. However, he was going to charge me about $100.00 per hour. That is just far too expensive.

They were fast, efficient, polite and did a fantastic job.

He was here on time. He had to call his boss to describe work and get a price to charge us. We protested the price without success. He used excuse that gas was expensive. It is only 10 miles from their company address to our house.

They did a good job. They came in, just did what they had to do and they were gone. I would recommend them.

Handyman Contractor company responded quickly to an email request for an estimate. They set a date and time for someone to come and see what was needed. They sent an experienced handyman/contractor who took measurements and offered a reasonable bid. We agreed on a date to do the repair. He built the doors off-site at his workshop, delivered, installed and made sure they fit the old frame.

The price was quite high, about $90 an hour. He was prompt, knowledgeable, and really friendly. He did good work.

I have used them before and price is probably the reason I went with them again. They came out within a day or two of my call. It took him about six hours to complete the work. He cleaned up when he was done and he hauled away the old water heater and laundry room sink. I had a leak under the kitchen sink and he came back right away to fix that.

They did a good job at a fair price.

Their service is excellent. The gentleman they hire are all retired and they have time. They seem to be trustworthy and know what they're doing.

I was very unhappy with what they charged me because it was like a hundred dollar job and they charged me double. I complained to the manager for a long time about the price of it and still to this day he did nothing about it. I wouldn t use them again because they like to take advantage of people.

I like them a lot. Their workers are very pleasant and have very good customer service. I also felt that the prices are very reasonable and competitive. I would recommend their service to others.

Generally everything that Handyman Connections did was done well and in a timely fashion. I felt that the price they charged me was extremely high for the what was done and because of that my opinion of their work was lowered. But other than that they work was done in a professional level.
