CLEANING AUTHORITY

The initial two cleanings were great. I thought "Wow, this is the best money I have ever spent." It went downhill from there. The biggest issue was the bathroom cleaning. They didn't do a good job of cleaning around the toilets. We complained numerous times, they would send out the inspector, but it still wasn't clean (I could see dirt/urine on the tiles). Finally, I met with the inspector at the house and showed her the issue. She said that they were told that the inside of the toilet was the problem. Meeting with her helped, and future cleanings were better. But the problem had already gone on for over two months! The other thing that really annoyed me is that they would not vacuum under the easily moved furniture (i.e. under the child size wooden rocker in my son's room). So the center of the room got vacuumed, but nothing else did unless I moved the items in advance of the cleaning. Once our contract was expired we canceled the service.

They are very thorough and always come out with a group of people so that the job doesn't take too long. They are a little pricy but the company uses a lot of the money for the sake their employees, which I definately support. I have also been very impressed with their integrity, they have never done anything to make me uncomfortable.

The work is okay, not terrible, but never as clean as you'd like. According to the company, they pay particular attention to a special "rotation area." I don't see the results. They often miss things and it is frequently in the area they said they spent extra time on. In the beginning, I always called to let them know about things that were missed, but it didn't seem to make much difference so I stopped. Also, this company apparently has a policy that they won't wipe out waste baskets. Maybe this is standard industry practice, but I've never encountered it with any other house cleaner and it's very annoying to have a clean bathroom with a dirty wastebasket.

Almost every time they came, one or more things to be cleaned would be missed or done incorrectly. They also made some small scratches and dings on our furniture. Management was slow to respond to complaints. The work was tolerable but eventually enough was enough and we had to fire them.

I DO NOT FEEL THAT THEY DO THE BEST JOB THAT THEY CAN DO. I DO NOT THINK THAT THEY TAKE THEIR JOBS VERY SERIOUSLY. THEY RUSH THROUGH ALL OF THE WORK. THERE IS ALWAYS A LOT LEFT TO BE DONE AFTER THEY LEAVE.
