I scheduled the appointment for first thing in the morning. They arrived two hours late, and brought attitude. Their estimate for a simple water heater replacement came out several hundred dollars over what I was expecting. They wouldn't break down parts and labor estimates. When I didn't accept the estimate and told them I'd call them (yeah, right) they said they'd have to charge me an $80 house call. Luckily their dispatcher told the plumber to cut his losses and leave without charging for the house call.
Description of Work: Estimate to replace a water heater, very much expecting to go with them and get it done.

I spent 1/2 day off from work to get a quote and they showed up very late and then never responded with a quote.
Description of Work: I arranged for an estimate on replacing two hot water heaters. They showed up over one hour later than the time range given on the phone. They promised a quote within two days as I was leaving town for a week and wanted to confirm the actual work before I left. When I returned from my trip 9 days later, there was no quote. I faxed them to ask where it was and they never responded. Because of another business trip, it was another week before I could call another firm to get a quote.

Horrible. I called the company and was told that the supervisor would call me back. He never did. I called again. I was told I would get a call back. He never did. Awful customer service. They are looking to make big money on calls and nothing else.
Description of Work: Nothing. I had a leaky tub faucet that began leaking four months after a previous plumber (from another company) fixed it by replacing the seats. The guy came to my house (after being late by a whole day), looked at the leak, and then told me he would need to rebuild it. I asked how he could tell by just looking at it and not even bothering to take apart anything. He couldn't even give me a figure on what it would cost. I told him that a plumber friend I know from another state told me it was probably a washer, but this guy wanted to get big money and it was absolutely pathetic. The guy marched out of the house because I was asking TOO many questions.

Initial arrival was prompt. Yellow Pages ad said $350 total for water heater replacement; the plumbers instead quoted me an hourly rate. They turned off all my water and electric, then left for lunch (and billed me for the hour they were gone). Final bill was $1100, which I was intimidated into signing for (two big men versus one disabled woman). They told me water would be hot in 90 minutes (after 5 PM on Friday). It was still cold. No one at company returned calls all weekend, or even Monday, until I had AmEx backcharge them the full amount; then suddenly I got a response: water heater has a Reset button that must be pushed each time power is interrupted; the installers didn't push it, and didn't tell me about it. Paperwork attached to the ''new'' water heater had old water damage. Grounding wire was left loose. CSLB told me they had numerous reports about this company, and helped me get the $1100 charge reduced to the $350 advertised.
