I had a slow flowing toilet that was augured, but still didn't work well. When it was removed, I found tree roots had destroyed the wax ring and was going into the pipe. I spoke to Brent at Affordable who took the time to understand my problem. Brent arrived on time and used a camera scope to see what was happening in the line. He was able to resolve the problem quickly and efficiently. He was professional in his manner and honest in his dealings. I would call and use Affordable Trenchless again in a heartbeat and I'd be happy to recommend them to my family and friends. Thank you Brent!

A few delays in identifying where the problem was, but very efficient and neat once they started drilling. Came back later to put appliances back in place.

They dug out the existing sewer cleanout box and backfilled it. They dug holes at either end of the sewer line, removed the existing sewer pipe and installed a new single piece pipe. The digging and replacement only took half a day of work. Another day was taken to get the county inspector to review the work and because this didn't happen until late Friday afternoon, they did not backfill the last two holes until Monday. They installed two new sewer cleanout boxes at either end of the pipe, 1 for the county connection and 1 near the house. The grass in the backyard got mushed up because the ground was muddy, but it wasn't in great shape to start with after the effect of the drought the past few years. This kind of work is nothing you can look at and admire, but the peace of mind is priceless and I was very happy that the work was done so quickly and without the need to dig a trench across the whole yard. We have a freestanding metal gate around an area of the yard that we use to let our indoor cat go outside and each time the workers left they ensured the gate was in place and the open holes were covered with plywood so that the cat could still go outside in the evenings and over the weekend until the project was completed. I am a happy customer, I would use them again for other plumbing work if needed.

My wife and I just relocated from New Orleans to Sacramento. We just bought our first house in Sacramento a month ago. The house was built in 1900s. It needed to backfill the septic tank and install a new sewer line that connected to the city sewer line at the alley. I found Trenchless on AngiesList. Ryan and his staff Brent came out to assess scope of work. They were punctual and very knowledgeable. Ryan coordinated with the city inspector and made sure the whole process went smoothly. Ryan?s workers were all extremely professional and polite. They finished the project on time. They did what they promised for the price we agreed upon and I believe they did a careful and thorough job. I would recommend them to anyone and I would use them again in the future. I would give them an A++.

They came super fast. They came out and did exactly what they said they would do. It was a huge job, thousands of dollars. They replaced a sewer line for us. They were really responsive and knew what they were doing. They had to get a permit from the city and they did all that. They just did it. They had done a job for us a month before which is why I called them for this one. The other one was just clearing out a blocked line.

The company owner visited the site and discussed the problems with the drains and issues associated with various solutions. He described the options for solutions and highlighted the benefits and drawbacks of the various alternatives. This contractor's website provides an excellent informational video on a range of topics of interest to homeowners planning to contract for plumbing or drain services. The workers arrived on time and spent 8+ hours trenching and installing new drains for the kitchen and laundry. The work was to replace 60+ year old drains located under the concrete slab of a masonry house. A little giant pump was installed near the washing machine and the drain was routed through the attic, down the exterior wall and then connected to the new kitchen drain that was rerouted outside the slab. A small portion of masonry block wall was removed to permit the connection to the new drain in the kitchen wall. The workers were pleasant, efficient, took the time to do quality work, but worked quickly and finished the job in one day. The pricing was accurate and affordable. The office was easy to reach for scheduling and contract questions.

He did a good job! Came on time when he said he was coming, which I appreciate he did that.

Ryan and Karen are excellent to work with from the first phone call to making payment. No complaints! I was updated at each step and what knew what was happening and what to expect. Prior to me using this company, I had a friend need a new sewer nad she asked me to research Angie's List. I found this company for her. She got three bids, and this was the best one for price and straightforward explanations and approach. She had the same experience as me!

Four other licensed plumbers came out and diagnosed the problem entirely differently. The quotes for the work from the other 4 plumbing companies was anywhere from $1500 dollars to $15,000 dollars. (one wanted to dig up my driveway) I knew they were taking advantage of me because I am a woman, but since the explanations were not logical I kept looking. I found Affordable Trenchless and Pipelining on Angie's list. I knew I was in good hands from the moment I called, to the friendly tone on the phone, to the prompt response, to the intelligent diagnosis, the realistic prompt maximum WRITTEN quote, and the immediate work and resolution! I cannot say how important it is to work with someone who is ethical and skilled. USE THESE PEOPLE THEY ARE FIRST CLASS.... TRUTH

I called Affordable Trenchless and Pipelining, Inc. to get an estimate for trenchless repair on an old sewer line that collapsed 65 ft from the clean out. It was also located on a neighbor's property; their expensively landscaped front yard with rare botanicals. Needless to say, the neighbor was not cooperative regarding digging up and replacing the line. Ryan should up, fished the camera down the line, found the problem, located that spot on the surface. It was in an area of the neighbors yard that did not require removing any rare plants, etc. Ryan said it was an easy fix, (easy enough to do ourselves) and did not require pipelining. What a relief! It's so refreshing to meet someone with honesty and integrity. I am a customer for life!

They cut out the part of the waterline with the crack in it and replaced it with some new piping. Then they put back the dirt and sod. If I ever have a sewer line or drain issue, I will definitely call these guys first!

My sewer would back up, always on a weekend or a holiday. This time on Martin Luther King day. I had to call one of the 24 hour generic companies (NOT AFFORDABLE TRENCHLESS!!). The guy didn't seem to know what he was doing & it was taking him forever so I asked the company to send another person. I got a lecture from the guy about how honest he was. I was told that I had orangeberg pipe & that it was totally collapsed. I didn't believe him cuz a plumber built this house. I was told it had to be replaced & would cost $3500 + 700 for city cleanout. Anyway, the next day I called Affordable Trenchless after seeing great reviews on Angies List. He came over quickly. He ran his camera down cleanout by house & I watched. It looked like metal pipe to me & not all collapsed like the other company said. Ryan from Affordable Trenchless said my pipe was cast iron & did not need to be replaced. He said there was a break where it joined the city line. He said that he could repair it & put in the clean out @ the city line for $750. He cleaned the line out so it would work & we scheduled it for later that week. He & his son, who are both very nice, came & fixed it. They had to do a lot of digging but it only took them a few hours. They put all the dirt back where it was. He calculated the actual cost & it was $8 less than he estimated. I would have gladly just paid the extra 8. They were great, very professional, polite, respectful, and most of all HONEST. The other company tried to swindle me. Ryan told me what to tell them to get my money back & I did. He was so refreshing after having several companies out in the past 2 years & none of them telling me what the problem was but instead wanting to replace a perfectly good sewer pipe. This guy is a keeper. He'll be my plumber from now on. Very trustworthy!! Great work! Great price!!

Original date for work postponed for a couple of days. We agreed, since it was not an emergency situation. Once they showed up everything was as advertised. The work was mostly completed in one day; we were without functioning sewer for only a couple of hours, or less. Second day, installed extra cleanout and cleaned up site. We are satisfied customers.

Had a sewer inspection done as part of due diligence for a home purchase and have already recommended them due to their professionalism.They were running a bit late but more than made up for the wait. The inspection was absolutely worth the peace of mind. They took the time to explain the issue they found and even dealt with the blocked line to make sure I got the video inspection. The quote to fix the problem was completely reasonable. I never thought I would be this happy about a sewer inspection.

The Saturday after Thanksgiving I had my sewer line back up into the house causing me to hire a plumber to root out my pipes. After getting drain cleared I had a firm come out and camera my sewer line and had found that tree roots had penetrated the line and my sewer pipe had burst near the street and water would pool in the pipes. That firm gave me a quote that ended up being almost twice as much as the quote I later received from Affordable Trenchless & Pipe Lining. I have a large front yard so looking at 90 - 100 linear feet of piping that needed to be replaced. I preferred the trenchless method as they only need to dig hole close to house and street to feed the pipe. This method would not require digging a four foot deep trench the length of the yard. Affordable pipe was suppose to do the work on 12/18/12 but the weather was horrible that day with rain and wind. The owner (Ryan) called first thing in the morning and suggested we re-schedule as it would be very messy in that weather. He told that he would try to reschedule some other interior work so he could still get my job done during this week. The next morning he called and said they would be at the home at noon and would do the project. The workers were prompt and completed the job in about 3 hours. They were there the next morning for inspection by County. They cleaned up the project and filled in the two holes. I would recommend this firm to anyone who needs a sewer line replacement.

We had another company come out a few weeks previously who did a hydrojet of our main line. Unfortunately 2 weeks later we had additional sewage back-up issues and had to have them come out again. They were unable to get the line open again due to large tree roots in our yard and quoted us a new trenchless system for $6600. I called around for second opinons and Ryan and his team came out promptly the next morning. I am pleased to say they were honest, friendly and opened my line up again for just $200. We still have to get the system replaced but this gave us the time to do it right and be sure we were doing what needed to be done. They showed me the video of the line and sent an electronic quote for the future job promptly the next day. Overall very responsive, good hard working people who are honest and straight with you.

Great company. Very punctual and the communication was excellent. They quoted me $2500 when everyone else was at least $800 more. The amount of work exceeded what they initially expected and they did not charge me one penny more. A lot of companies will bid low and charge you more after they start a job. These guys stuck to their original estimate and performed great work. My sewer is up to date and works like a charm. I would highly recommend them and will use them in the future.

I received a quote from them that was thousands lower than a competitor. The only reason I decided going with someone else was a first hand recommendation to another company that matched the price.

They were efficient, cleaned up after themselves, and the best price (I had 3 quotes) I had questions after it was all done and paid for and they were still very quick about taking care of my concerns Overall excellent!

Ryan had performed diagnostic exam (fiberoptic camera) of home we bought several months ago (built 1970 ish). He and helper put in trenchless new sewer line from house to street. The realtor we use (Carole Goodin) uses his services extensively in her business, so we contacted him after consulting Bonney plumbing (large bill for less than diagnostic service). He came out to our home the next day, examined the system, cut a hole in drainage pipe, ran a camera and found the problem (several feet of soil/silt/mud clogging exit pipe which terminated a foot underground, rather than daylighting). The problem is fixed by them the following day by clearing and extending the drainage pipe with appropriate use of sloping pipe depth and bringing the end of the pipe to surface.
