They were also going to clean our solar panels. But the windows were the most important thing. What does it say about a company that has to call a client because their entire work force did not show up? I thought there were lots of people looking for jobs.
Description of Work: Very dissapointed to be put in a complete bind by this company today. I prefer to support local business and my neighbor gave them a good recommendation. We are having a very important event here tomorrow morning at 10AM. I called 4 days ago and was given the afternoon apt TODAY to have our windows cleaned. It was the only appointment they had. (good for them to be busy) However, I was called this morning and told that their workers did not show up and my windows would not be done! SORRY!This put me in a TERRIBLE bind as the windows were really spotted and dirty and how in the world was I going to get them done? I called a couple of referrals that Jim's gave me. One called me back but did not have anyone to help me today. However they are going to send someone at 6:30 in the morning to get the job done before our 10am event. Needless to say, I will never call Jim's again.

We've used Jim's Window Cleaning before. Their price was fair. His people were usually late but they did good work. Our appointment with Jim's to clean our windows was June 19, 2008 at 10:00am. When the crew hadn't arrived by 10:30, my wife called the manager. He told her that they would be here shortly. When they hadn't shown up by 11:00 we decided that because of our schedule, it would not be possible for them to complete the job before we had to leave. My wife called to cancel for that day. There was no answer so she left a message explaining that we would have to reschedule. At 11:30 the crew showed up anyway (an hour and a half late). I told them that we were canceling the job for that day. When we called to reschedule, the manager was angry that we had canceled, citing the cost of fuel, etc. Despite this, we made an appointment for the following week. They did not show up for this second appointment. Needless to say we hired another company to perform the work.
