Do not use Patriot Roofing!! Patriot Roofing replaced our roof in 04 and gave us a 12 year warranty. We've been having problems ever since. Just today, contractors repared a bedroom ceiling caused by a slow leak. We will have to pay for the interior repair as Patriot is not returning our calls Since they did the work. calls to get them to fix leaks have been too numerous to count. Sometimes they have responded and patched the leak, sometimes not. We had to pay another roofer $450 to fix a leak around our skylight they said they were not responsible for. At one point a Patriot representative actually cursed my wife. We have a flat roof with a parapet. When the roof was replaced there was nothing done to the parapet. After 7 years a Patriot representative found that the leak came from wind-driven water soaking thru the parapet. The plywood under the roofing material was soggy. They replaced the soggy plywood and the ceiling caved in in the bedroom below. There was mold. They said to fix the problem they would have to put roofing material on the parapet. Why didn't they do that when they installed the roof?! They charged us $900 for that.

CONTRACTOR DID NOT GET A BUILDING PERMIT AS REQUIRED BY CITY OF CARLSBAD BUILDING CODE. Learned about this failure after the job was completed. Confirmed by telephone, email, and personal visit to City of Carlsbad Building Department. Problems during roofing, and existing problems on roof after job completed, become our problems as the property owner because there was no permit.

Our 20+ year-old roof leaked during the torrential rains in January of 2010. We were fortunate to get Patriot to respond quickly to locate the source of the leak and put temporary plastic up until they could start the reroofing job. Their people showed up on time, and were appropriately supervised throughout the job. We did not comparison shop for prices but their price was about what we we expected to pay and we believe what they charged was reasonable for the quality of work performed. We did discover a problem with one area of work before the job was finished and when it was brought to their attention, it was immediately corrected. We have recommended them to other people and will continue to do so.

He presented his product and company well. It was very professionally done. He gave me all the papers, insurance work and proof of everything in his presentation. I liked that he was more prepared than others. They did a pretty good job in getting the roof and repairing the rotten wood underneath. The gentle man who tiled the roof just worked and worked on his own. He did a great job making the pattern look nice since the tile was of a different color. I liked their professionalism and I thought that they were pretty neat in terms of picking up after themselves. They were punctual and did a few little extra things like painting of my eaves and fascia boards where the old roof came off.

The tiles to be replaced kept increasing in number. The cost estimate kept doubling (several times) and finally I discovered the workers were paid on a per piece basis. I counted the tiles coming in and going out (with photos) and they inflated the number beyond belief. They didn't worry at all about matching he color of the tile either. They just grabbed what they had in their yard. These guys are opportunists in that they will keep jacking up the price until you scream bloody murder. What a bad experience that was. I need help again but I am definitely looking elsewhere. You know I shouldn't be needing help now if they had done the job right then.

I signed a contract for the work and they never showed up. After two months of them not showing up or even calling with a reason they sent a letter stating that I signed a contract and they were coming to do the work. I told them I did not want them to do the work because I had the repair taken care of already.

Mark (supervisor) was very pleasant to work with. The work was done within 5 days as promised. The roof looks beautiful. During the demolition, a garage light fell and hit my Mercedes and broke the front windshield. Patriot worked quickly to have my windshield replaced. A mobile glass company came to my workplace the next day to replace my windshield. I was very pleased with their work.

A CREATURE SEEMS TO BE GETTING IN, I DON'T KNOW IF THEY PUT ENOUGH BIRD STOP ON IT. WHAT THEY HAVE TOLD ME TO DO IS TO GET A CONSULTANT TO SEE IF IT WAS THEIR FAULT OR NOT SINCE IT SAYS IN THEIR GUARANTEE THAT IT WOULD PREVENT LEAKAGE. THEY WANT ME TO ARRANGE THE MEETING AND PAY FOR THE CONSULTANT MYSELF TO DETERMINE IF IT WAS THEIR FAULT OR NOT AND THEY HAVE SAID VERBALLY THAT THEY WOULD PAY FOR THE CONSULTANT IF IT WAS THEIR FAULT. I DID NOT WANT THEM SMOKING AND I THINK THEY CONTINUED TO SMOKE.

THE CONSTANT PROFESSIONALS THIS COMPANY WAS. THEY REALLY KNEW HOW TO TREAT ME AS A CUSTOMER. THE ROOFERS REALLY WORKED FAST AND IT DIDN'T EFFECT THE QUALITY OF WORK.
