The Estimate given was $ 20.500 , a change of plan happened from slap to crawlspace, were I was told the price will go up but not that much. So the project preceeded , I was never given new estimate nor did I think it was necessary for the little increase which would occur. After he finally finished, the total bill was $ 31.963 that's an increase of over 40% . Sorry, but I feel taken advantage of, that a price was just made up as the project went along without disclosure. The best words I can find , that this is the worst business practice which I encountered so far.

brent kirby was hired in january 2010 to pour the foundation work for our new house, he didnt start work until the end of march 2010, the work was suppose to take 12-14 weeks. from the start it was a bad experience, un beknown to us he took our $20,000 deposit and went on a 2 week vacation before he ever started the work. he made a series of constant promises of which he never kept, was constantly demanding more money or he'd stop work (which he did several times)many times the job sat idle for days at a time. brent kirby is a petty, deceitful, dishonest, difficult, self-centered, greedy little man, who spent more time told us he would hire enough workers to get this job done in a timely manner, but he spent 5 months with only one undocumented worker until we threatened him with a lawsuit that he fin ally hired additional worker and completed the work 7 months from time of start, all together we lost a total of 9 months from the time he was hired to when he finished, it was a nightmare experience that forced us to reschedule our entire project and causing us to renegotiate all our established contracts.beware of his all american upright presentation of himself, it is 180 degrees the opposite
