Robert did a great job on the drywall replacement, repair and re-texture of our kitchen remodel. Due to demolition and other work there were several large ceiling and wall sections that required replacement or patching. His work was excellent including blending the texture in with adjacent areas, you cannot tell anything was done. He also did a few small repairs in other areas of the house unrelated to the kitchen that had been bugging us for a while. Robert worked within our tight timeline, provided a good value at a fair price, did everything agreed to and cleaned up at the end of each day.. Robert is a consummate professional and a downright nice guy, we highly recommend him.

Robert was nice, professional and most importantly, he did beautiful work. He removed wall paper that was absolutely stuck to my sons' room and then retextured the walls beautifully. Additionally, I had him remove a precious section of the kitchen where I had tracked my children's growth for the past 10 years. He delicately removed the dry wall so I could save the growth chart and then added new dry wall. The replacement is perfect! Absolutely seamless. I will definitely use Dunn Dry Wall for all of my dry wall needs.

Robert quoted a reasonable price, showed up as scheduled, made the repairs in half a day, including knockdown texture. Great experience, would definitely use him again.

The original scope was to scrape the pop-corn from everywhere in the "new" property and come back a few weeks later to fix any damage we did while enlarging a door way. Mr. Dunn seems to have 2 weeks of work at all times but as he got excellent ratings i convinced my wife we should work around his schedule. He and his helper showed up early on the day we arranged and got right to work. Taking down the pop-corn is not the challenge, it is re-texturing. In our case, he had to blend to exisitng knock-down, for which Mr. Dunn's team did an excellent job. This was basically a 3 day job and everything went according to his estimates. When i called him for the second visit, the scope had changed considerably. The sheetrock on the walls of the kitchen had all been removed, I fell thru the ceiling in the washer/dryer room requiring a big patch, and there were lots of holes in the wall sheetrock throughout the house requiring patches. This second visit used his breadth of serious sheetrock skills: fitting around windows, sliding glass door, outlets/switch-boxes, repair, etc. My father, a critical judge, who has worked in the construction trades on the East Coast most of his life, was very impressed with their level of quality; He told me this twice (a compliment from my father says more than you realize). Of course the all important evaluation was my wife's, and she was "tickled." If at all possible, Dunn Drywall is who I will call next time I have any need for drywall work. They may not be the cheapest but generally you get what you pay for and these guys are a bargain.

Took a week to come out and give us an invoice, and then another week to get someone out to do the work, but once here they moved very fast and did an excellent work in a very professional manner. Was very clear with me on agreeing on a scope of work and the impact of additional requests on cost. Cleaned up after - warned me what to be careful of while the walls dried.

I had completely gutted the shower/bath room of our master bath. This involved removing an old bath tub and its surround, removing a shower wall, removing a medicine cabinet and a very large mirror (7'x 3'). All In preparation for the construction of the new shower stall and bath enclosure. I needed lots of drywall repair. Six days ago I called Rob and explained what I needed. I was extremely vague because as the demo progressed the drywall work needs expanded. He originally quoted me $650 and promised to come the next Thursday (yesterday). Then over the next few days I kept adding things. First it was filling the hole left by a medicine cabinet, then a ceiling repair where I took out the wall of the old shower enclosure and finally fixing the scared wall behind where a giant 7'x3' foot mirror was. Rob showed up just before 7:30 Thursday just as promised (honestly he's the first contractor to show up at the promised time since I started this remodel job) and surveyed the job. He not only agreed to do all the extra work at no additional charge! He even suggested doing some additional stuff that I hadn't even thought of. All, still all at the same original price. It was apparent from the get go that he really cared about doing an excellent job for me. I then left to go to work around 8. My wife works at home so she was around in case anything came up. I then returned home around 5 just as Rob was cleaning up. He did a fantastic job! All the work was as promised with completely invisible joins and all the texturing matched the existing texture in the repair areas. A true artist. Also, the work area was completely cleaned up and the resulting waist was neatly piled in an area I'd specified. I had a dumpster on order from Edco scheduled for the next day (today). All in all, this was a great experience. Rob is a true pro and a very nice guy. I would absolutely hire him again. As a matter of fact he's already quoting me on a separate job of acoustic ceiling removal and the other bathroom which will be updated lster this month.

I could not be more pleased with the job performed by Dunn Drywall. Robert lived up to everything he said he would do. Showed up on time as scheduled, gave an immediate estimate and scheduled the work. He showed up with a courteous and professional crew and they worked hard for 3 days to get the job done to perfection. Our home was treated with care while they did the work, the work was done expertly and Robert communicated about all of the steps so that we were prepared for the various steps of the job. I would recommend them very highly and most certainly have them back for any drywall work if it were needed. (Even though I really hope we no longer have a need!)

After a terrible experience with a painting contractor who re-textured my ceilings, I needed to get them all done again. (See my other reviews for more info on that.) When I called Dunn Drywall for an estimate, Rob Dunn agreed to come down (about a 40 minute drive) on a day off to give me an estimate. He arrived a few minutes before the time we had scheduled, and was as professional as could be. We discussed options, and he got back to me a few hours later with a verbal quote. The Dunn Drywall estimate came in below the other quote I had gotten from an equally reputable company, and both were able to start right away, so cost was the deciding factor in this case. Shortly after informing Rob that I'd like him to do the work, his secretary sent the written estimate. Rob an a colleague showed up right on time Monday morning, and Rob suggested we do another walk-through of the house to make sure we were all on the same page. The work took several days, and I was generally not around while it was being done. Rob checked in with me periodically to make sure I was happy with the progress and to see if I had any questions. The job is done, and I finally have ceilings and walls which look professionally done. I'm very happy with the level of service, the courtesy and professionalism, the cost, and - most importantly - the quality of the work!

Robert Dunn was a pleasure to work with. I scheduled the work about a week in advance. He was available earlier but my schedule added on a few days. Prior to calling Dunn Drywall, we had replaced a ceiling exhaust fan in the bathroom and this left a hole of approximately 1.5 x 2 feet in the ceiling. He replaced the drywall, and retextured the entire ceiling in the room (approximately 6' x 6') so that there would be no sign of any repair. He also was very good about cleaning up after he completed the work which is greatly appreciated. The ceiling looks beautiful and I couldn't be happier with the result.

We had significant water damage to the ceiling and walls of a bedroom. Dunn Drywall removed the wet drywall on 1/2 the ceiling and 1 wall and a few other spots. New insulation and drywall was installed. Orange peel texture was applied to match. Communication was very good and the job was quickly scheduled. The work was completed within one day.

Rob Dunn came out the first day and installed dry wall patches and taped and mudded the repairs. While attempting to repair an adjacent area that looked like a prior poor taping ,Rob discovered wet dry wall which he removed.. Since the cause was a very small leak in a the top of a cast iron drain pipe he could not replace the dry wall until the leak was fixed.. I had the leak repaired the same day, and the following day Joe came out and completed the job, including texturing the repaired areas and feathering the texture to blend it into the rest of the ceiling. Each day they cleaned up after themselves and even mopped the dust off of our slate floor. Both Rob and Joe were very professional and did an outstanding job. I would recommend Dunn Drywall without hesitation.

Had a roof leak and therefore water damage inside the house. Also had the whole house humidifier leak and had water damage from that. Started work a little after 8 a.m. and finished about 11:30. Did a very nice job and cleaned up nicely.

We had removed old white tile backsplash from the kitchen and needed the exposed drywall repaired that was behind it.Everything went fantastic. Robert came over initially before we had removed the backsplash to get an estimate on what it might cost for repair but told us he'd have to come back to see the end result of the removal before giving us a price,saying depending on the damage it could be anywhere from around $500 to $1500 dollars.After the backsplash had been removed we called Robert back. Even though he was away on vacation he returned our call within an hour and told us his assistant Joe would be over the next day to have a look.Joe told us the damage wasn't bad and he would let Robert know what needed exactly to be done and call us back with a price, which I thought was extremely reasonable , and set up a date for the work to be done. Robert arrived early in the morning and spent the next eight hours or so doing a fantastic job on the walls and leaving the work area cleaner than when he arrived!! We have a couple of other projects that we'll be doing soon that will require some drywall repair. Dunn Drywall will be hearing from us again!!!

The folks from Dunn Drywall were a pleasure to work with, polite, prompt and accommodating. Work was done quickly and well. If I ever need more drywall work done this will be my one stop without a doubt.

I had some cutouts in the wall due to some plumbing work. I needed to get the drywall repaired but I have knockdown texturing on the walls, which is very difficult to match when repairing. He arrived at the appointed time, spent about 6 hours making the repair and now it would be very difficult for anyone to know where the plumbing cutouts had been.

Joe Chapman, Rob's assistant arrived early the next morning. He did a beautiful job and cleaned up after he was done. I would not hesitate to use him again in the future.

Mr Dunn was prompt, extremely carefully to cover, mask, etc to prevent any drywall dust and other construction material from getting anywhere. His work was perfection!! I had my fluorescent lighting in my kitchen ceiling removed and canned lighting installed. Dunn Drywall came out and did an excellent job to make my ceiling flawless! Now my kitchen looks fantastic!! I would definitely call them again for any drywall projects I might have. I have proudly shown off my new modern ceiling to my neighbors and also was very happy to let them know who had done the work.

Rob Dunn , as usual, did a beautiful job. He is prompt, polite, does a great job of cleaning up and best of all, is a GREAT drywaller! When he is finished, you cannot tell there was any damage ever done! I have also had him remove ugly fluorescent lights and install canned lights in my kitchen. This has really transformed my kitchen! I have had him repair holes in the drywall when I moved wall light fixtures. Every time, great workmanship. I first hired him a couple of years ago, before I became an Angie's List member, and was so lucky to have found him. I am so happy to share with others that Rob Dunn is THE guy to call for great drywall work.

Rob was punctual, polite and efficient. He did an excellent job replacing the drywall and re-texturing the ceiling and walls that were replaced. We are very happy with the job he did.
