Accountable Plumbing

We noticed a gas smell on our property before leaving for work. When they came out, SDG&E told us there were leaks on both sides of the meter - theirs and ours. We called Josh at Accountable Plumbing that morning and he came out to our house within the hour to check out the problem. It turned out that the plumbing in our 60 year old house had never been replaced and the pipes, which were corroding, ran underneath our concrete slab, meaning that we had to repipe the entire house through the attic instead. This was during one of the coldest weeks of the year (albeit in San Diego) and our heat, stove, washer, dryer and hot water all run on gas. Josh and his guys worked tirelessly to get the new piping run through the house and hooked up into our appliances. He double and triple checked all of the connections, flushed the old system and capped the old pipes so that the gas in the old pipes wasn't leaking back into the house, and even came back out after the work was done at 10pm on a Tuesday night because we thought we smelled another leak (which turned out not to be the case). Josh was extremely responsive, attentive and knowledgeable and went above the call of duty. He called SDG&E to turn the gas on, relit all of the pilots on our appliances once the gas was back on, pulled all of the necessary permits for the work and met with the city inspector, all while we were at work.
