Response from Daddario Roofing Co Inc
I wanted to address member's comments about our company. After speaking to member, I have to agree that we could have handled his situation better. This is an extremely busy season for us and we have been scheduling repair estimates at least 5-10 days out. We should have let him know when we were responding to his request that we were willing to come out in that time frame if that was acceptable to him. Many who have a current leak situation are unwilling to wait the two weeks for us do an estimate so we refer them to roofers in the area that we trust to do good work. His assumption that the location (Gilroy) was one of the reasons that we did not commit to coming out is incorrect. We have no problem whatsoever doing estimates for repairs and reroofs in Gilroy. A large part of our business is repairing roofs and even though we are extremely busy, we appreciate every repair lead we get. Because we are a smaller roofing company, we cannot always get out to give perspective clients their estimates in a time frame that will meet their needs. Where we dropped the ball with member was our inefficient communication with him. I called and apologized to him and we are committed to correct this problem with scheduling our estimates. It is always our position to take constructive criticism and make positive changes. It pains me to get our first negative review on Angie's List (we have had 4 years of straight-A posts), but will improve because of member's legitimate comments regarding our service. Sincerely, Steve Daddario (Owner)
