Da Kine Pool and Spa Service

He is a very personal guy. Runs his own business. Was prompt with the phone call and first appointment. My in ground spa was really dirty and with a couple of treatments it was clean again. I signed up for regular weekly service and I am pleased with the way my spa looks.

I asked Chris to come and take a look at my leaky above ground spa to see if he could figure out why it was losing so much water. It's new a new hot tub in the back yard of my new (to me) house, so I was eager to use and enjoy it ASAP. Chris informed me quickly that he would rather refer me to one of his associates that specializes in repairs of this nature. The gentleman he referred has done an excellent job and Chris made sure I was happy along the way. Chris didn't charge me anything for coming out and taking a look, which I appreciate very much. The next time I need any services or cleaning for my hot tub, I am definitely going to call Chris first!

Chris and Da Kine are the BEST! The large local pool/spa company we had been using was horrible. The technician who was suppose to come out for weekly spa maintenance was incompetent, uninterested in doing his job or simply wasn't coming out at all. Our spa was filthy and finally turned dark brown. Moreover, it was extremely difficult getting a response from the company despite numerous voicemails and emails. We then contacted Chris at Da Kine-what a difference. Chris called back within the hour and offered to come out the next evening to accommodate my husband's work schedule (we really appreciated that). Chris arrived on time, was friendly, professional & knowledgeable. He diagnosed the problems (i.e., chemical imbalance and motor), made some recommendations, and called us the next day with estimates. He didn't try to upsell us and his prices were very fair. In addition, at the initial visit, he cleaned the spa before he left. He was thorough and did a great job. When we tried to pay for the spa cleaning and time for diagnosing the problem, Chris told us to apply it to the cost of the repairs! His weekly spa maintenance cost is extremely fair and competitive. Most importantly, he Is thorough, professional, very nice, and extremely knowledgeable. He truly takes pride in his work. We highly recommend Chris and Da Kine!

He is great. He is fantastic. He is always on time. He attended when he said he would attend. He went deep to find the cause of the problem. He even tested all the pipelines. He did everything thoroughly and changed everything. He left all the bad stuff in the corner for us to clean. He used whatever which was needed to put up the pool in such a great state. He had to come and see about 4 to 5 times to get everything going on. There was no short fall. The pool is in a perfectly beautiful condition. His attitude was great. He was very warm and nice at the same time very professional. I am very happy with him. When he started working, he carried on for some time. Then he came 3 or 4 times just to put everything in order. He then came back in a week’s time to make sure everything was in order. He even used his own things to clean the blockage in the pool and to prevent any further damage to what was going on. He is an expert. He is very knowledgeable. He had all the chemicals and he did the cleaning. It was a little bit complicated and I knew that. I had 2 more people looking at this pool, they couldn’t do it and they just ran away. The cost wasn’t a lot and I think he was very reasonable. He just sent us the bill. He is very good. I would highly recommend him. He is going to stay with us for a long, long time. If I sell this house going anywhere then I would want him to follow us.

It said that we had the first month free so we took advantage of that. He did a good job and followed up with what we asked him to do. The other day it was green again and he came out. He called us within a couple of hours. It has only been a month but so far we are very pleased. We paid $50 the first month because he had to come three times to get us out of the mess we were in. It was fair and half the normal price. He is on time and very pleasant. He does what he says. He seems to be very knowledgeable and capable. His price seems to be standard. He is very professional.

Chris is great! We had a problem with our last pool company keeping the algae out of the pool and providing good service. We called Chris from Da Kine and he came out the same day (a half hour after we called). He found that the chlorine level in the pool was low and quickly fixed the problem. He is very personable and really takes pride in his work. In his words, "my pools are my babies". He didn't even charge us for the last 2 weeks of July's service and has been keeping the pool in great shape since. We would totally recommend Da Kine to anyone looking for a great pool service company with that "personal touch".

Excellent service from start not yet installed but I am sure we will get an excellent job as he has been so conscientiousand thorough dropping by when in area to check all is ok with the pool and making sure the gas supply was checked before installing new heater which he will be doing next week.

He is very personable. He does a good job. I like his personality, and promptness. I had a leak one time and he came in midnight to fix that. He is dependable. I would use him in the future.
