LOWRY'S INTERIORS

When I ordered and paid for the fabric on 3/26, I was told it would be delivered in 5-7 days so I informed the out-of-town upholsterer accordingly. About a week after the order was placed, I received a voicemail from someone at the shop who said they would be sending in the order and gave me the amount I owed. I immediately called back and pointed out that the fabric had been paid for when ordered and I was expecting it to be delivered by this time, not just ordered. I was told the employee had mistaken me for another customer who placed an order at the same time and for the same amount of fabric (really?) and that my fabric had been ordered and should be here any day. It wasn't received for another week or so, which created a scheduling problem with the upholstery shop that was holding my chairs. My feeling is that they forgot to order the fabric when they said they would and kept giving me excuses to hide that fact. The fabric didn't come in until 4/11, 15 days after being ordered, not 5-7 as I had been told. I will say in their defense that they did not avoid my calls when I became concerned about the delays but I did feel I was given the runaround.

THEY SEWED MATERIAL ONTO THE CUSHIONS. IT WAS PRETTY BASIC WORK. I NEVER MET THE PEOPLE WHO DID THE WORK, I ONLY MET THE WOMAN IN THE SHOWROOM WHEN I DROVE BY. IT WAS THE ONLY STORE WE HAD SEEN.
