After buying a new home, I discovered that the master shower leaked water all over the bathroom floor during every use (something the home inspector missed). The main problem is the shower door sits on a slab of marble that slopes the wrong way--towards the bathroom instead of the shower basin. Stuart suggested a money-saving fix short of ripping out the marble. He replaced the door (which was not cut correctly), installed a dam strip and added clear weatherstripping on the bottom and side of the door. It worked great. Despite the sloping issue, the leak has been reduced to an insubstantial trickle--no more than you might find in any shower stall. Now my bathroom floor is dry and I no longer have to worry about my baseboards getting moldy. Stuart did a quality job on time and for a reasonable price. I'd use him again.

Valencia Custom Shower Door was recommended to me by my plumber. I am so extremely satisfied with the quality and beauty of our custom shower door I want to tell everyone about our experience. Called Stuart on May 7, 2012 to ask about the cost and procedure of ordering a new shower door. He came out to the house that day, measured the area and quoted a price I thought was very fair. I ordered the door on the spot and was happy and surprised when he called on the 10th to tell me he was ready to install. The gentlemen who came to install the door were professional and pleasant. The knew exactly what to do and how to do it. I would highly recommend this company.

I received very short notice of back-East company arriving on Wednesday, 1/25/12. I was stressed because my shower had just been re-tiled and had no doors for that shower and the company was to use that bathroom. Stuart came on the 17, the day after I called him, measured, gave me an estimate, said the doors would be finished on Tuesday, 1/24, so after reading only one comment on Angie's list, I took a chance and hired him. To my delight, he called to say he could install the doors on Monday. Monday it rained, and not wanting the doors to get wet on an open truck, we rescheduled to Tuesday, the original installation date. His installers arrived on time, went straight into the bathroom, and within an hour were finished and no mess!! The doors were great, looked exactly as I wanted, I was able to relax, and my company was able to use the shower when they arrived. I would not hesitate to call him again, and highly recommend him.

Valencia Custom Shower Doors did a great job installing a glass shower door for our bathroom remodel. I found them from a posting on craigslist selling floor samples and mis-ordered glass panels, and checked them with the Better Business Bureau where they had the highest rating. The owner said that my job, which was a glass-on-glass hinged door, could not be cobbled together with the pieces he had, but he could make new ones. He then quoted me a price that was about $200 less than the lowest bid I had received thus far (which had been $1150 to $1800) and so I invited him to come make measurements. He arrived at precisedly the agreed upon time to make measurements and gave me several options for hardware. I enjoyed his forthright opinions on what would look best, especially since I agreed with them. The quoted price only changed because I selected a more expensive door handle. There was a one-week turnaround, and the two installers arrived right on time and did an efficient and very nice job installing the door exactly as described. Very nice and courteous young men. I could not be more pleased with their work. Glass shower doors are a lot more expensive than I expected, but at least I got a super-professional job on mine. I highly recommend this company.
