+ -1 moreThese jobs were more difficult than usual because (1) our home is an unusual shape (semi-octagonal) and (2) the original roof was installed by the previous homeowner, who built the whole house himself, although he was not a professional builder. As a consequence, everything we do on this house is complicated. But, undaunted by these challenges, Micheal Thomsen actually embraced them and came up with creative solutions for everything that came up. Throughout the process, we felt that he had our safety and best interests in mind. Like a good neighbor, Micheal was there!
Description of Work: Made comprehensive repairs to the subroof and insulation; Replaced the entire asphalt-shingle roof of the house with lightweight polymer shake and collaborated on the installation of solar panels, then installed a separate fiberglass porch roof.
