Eric and Sean used their equipment to check the levels of the A/C unit to make sure it was functioning to capacity. Eric also went up into the Attic areas where my A/C and Furnace was placed. Eric said that the unit was sitting on wood blocks and was not to code nor was there a pan under the unit to collect the water if it should leak. The unit needed to be suspended off the floor and a pan placed to collect water run off if it should leak. There was also a leak that was causing the air to release into the attic that would need to be fixed. The outside unit needed the capacitor (starter) replaced. Other than that the unit was in good shape for 15 years old. He said the suspension of the unit in the attic and such would be a half day work and the capacitor would cost approx $2,000. I would get a 15% discount if I got their service contract for $130. The service contract has them come out twice a year before the cold weather and before the hot weather. I thought it reasonable. My furnace has not been checked since the day they came was over 100 degrees outside so that will need to be checked. I will most likely sign a service contrract with them and have the work done when the weather cools off a bit. Eric was extremely thorough in his explanation of the service needs. At no time did I feel he was upselling me or taking advantage of me. He made sure I asked as many questions as I needed to ask and could call if I had further questions. I felt this company was well established, knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable enough to have them do the work that I will need to have done. They will keep my system working as long as possible so that I don't have to replace it hopefully for a while. I will defintely use this company for my A/C and Furnace servicing.

Technician very thorough and helpful in explaining every step. Only disappointment was the cost. A bit pricey but I would have them back.

Called Rowland Air Thursday evening and the unit was fixed and functioning by 1:00 pm the next day. What a relief as the ouside temperature hit in the high 90s.

With summer temperatures hitting the 100s it was not the right time for the AC unit to go on vacation! I needed someone to come out fast to fix the problem. I called around to several different companies who all told me that the earliest they could come and fix the problem would be in 3-4 days. When i called Rowland Air, they were able to get to me the same day. The technician Rick was on time and very friendly. He checked the AC unit, cleaned it, and was able to determine the problem fairly quickly. He replaced the wore out part and got the AC running again. He even called the next day to make sure everything was running smoothly.

Our A/C system was leaking in the garage. I called and Rick was able to come out the same day. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a blockage. He cleared the blockage and checked the rest of the system. Rick was very professional and explained everything very well. I would highly recommend Rowland Air, especially Rick.

The technician Rick was extremely friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. He arrived at the specified time and got right down to business servicing and inspecting my central heating and air conditioning unit. He explained everything as he went, and did it in terms that a layman could understand, and even gave me a few pointers on how to increase the cooling efficiency in my home. All services were performed in a prompt and efficient manner. Overall I am very pleased with Rowland Heating and Air, and especially their technician Rick. I would definitely recommend them to anyone, and will go to them for all my future heating and cooling needs.

Don't always go with your first estimate on repairs for a major appliance such as your heating and air conditioning unit as I did. Mike A. At Rowland Air saved me $7000.00 for a new unit that I was told I needed. Thank you again Mike and Rowland Air.

I waited a week and never heard from them. I finally emailed them and they stated that I was not in their service area.

The Technical Rick was WONDERFUL! He was there when he said he would be, thought he would have to order part and finish the next day, found out there were children in the home went out and found the part himself and did it in the same day. He was kind and considerate and I would definitely use this company and Rick again!

When I called to schedule an appointment, I was surprised to find out they could have someone come out the same day. They provided me with a time window and called me within 45 minutes prior to showing up. Mike and son tried to salvage my system, but they just couldn't do it. I ended up having to have a new condenser installed. There was no pressure to get a new unit. My options were explained to me in great detail and when I finally decided to have the condenser replaced, the installers showed up two days later on time. The installers did a great job, but they did scuff the paint around the attic entrances. Nothing that a little paint can't handle.The system was installed by 3:00 pm and everything seems to working well since. They even brought me some new air filters!!! Will definitely call Rowland with any future heating or a/c needs.

My first contact with Rowland was made in late May. My initial appointment was scheduled for Tuesday June 3, between 3 and 6 pm. I was contacted the day before and confirmed that I would be home. About 2:30 on Tuesday I went outside to wait for the service rep. No one ever came. I called the office and they said that they had called me that day, but since no one had answered, they had not come. I rescheduled for Thursday, and stayed in the house until the phone call came in. The technician arrived within the hour. He looked over the situation, did some measuring and sketches, and said he would call back the following week (week of June 9th). I did not hear back from him. About Tuesday, I called the office. They said he was out due to a family emergency. I waited for another week, and called the technicians personal line (given to me on a business card). He said he was sorry but they did not have a unit that would work for my situation. In the mean time temperatures at our house had been the high 90's and low 100's. I can't imagine why he didn't call me sooner. We had been sitting in the heat for 2 weeks, and had to initiate the follow up contact only to find out they couldn't do the job.

Our old air conditioner started leaking into the attic and down through our walls. Rick was fantastic. My wife and I were on vacation and he kept me informed all the time. He went above and beyond and gave us some ideas to make sure this sort of thing didn't happen in the future. We have signed up for their maintenance contract and are having them do a bit more work on our system to fine tune it for our house and lifestyle. Bill Bowden

Eric and his associate were very professional and courteous. They diagnosed the issue almost immediately and the system has been working fine since. Turns out that the theromostat needed to be changed and they included it in the cost of the board & labor.

The service man that arrived was Rick. He had been mentioned by name in several reviews. He was very good. He identified my problems quickly.He told me that I had a small coolant leak. He explained the problem and what it would take to repair it. He also gave me an estimate of the cost of the repair. He didn't try to push the repair, as many service people would.When he left, I had a better understanding of my ac unit.

I was very pleased with Rowland Air from the initial telephone call, office follow-up to confirm the appointment, and the technician who arrived and completed the work. The technician wore booties over his work shoes and was careful not to track anything into the house. When material from the crawl space fell on the floor, he cleaned it up. He arrived on time and performed his work efficiently and delivered the work I asked for. Everyone at Rowland Air that I talked with were professional, polite and helpful.

Went great. Tech RICK CARON was very fast, clean and efficient. He told us exactly what we needed to do and why, and was very upfront about options. I am happy to have him, and Rowland, as our regular heating and cooling service.

He explaned everything in detail and showed me pictures of where the problem is. He has ordered a new board.

Rick was friendly and patient with listening to myself and my father. He did a diagnostic check and repaired the AC in less than 30 minutes. He gave us thorough information on how to best use the system to help with preventative maintenance.

Simply put, I made a next day appt. with Rowland Air and the tech Rick Caron, arrived on time and had our a/c back up and running within minutes. He explained what was wrong with our unit and had the great customer service that you don't get anymore. I was very impressed with the professionalism. I will definitely give you another ring for any future a/c repairs needed.

The people make the company and everyone from the first person that answered the phone, the service and installation personnel to the owner of the company were all professional, courteous and honest. Rowland is my go to company and the only company we will ever use from this point forward. Yes they are that good. My only regret is that I am not a great writer and able to provide a better written review.
