Description of Work: We did a locksmith called Jean’s Lock & Key Service. They came out and re-set the locks.

Description of Work: We had to have the house rekeyed due to theft of a set of house keys. They came out promptly and were done that day, except for the keypad front door handle. It was not working correctly and he returned on Sat.at my request to complete that. A job well done. He took his time, all of the new keys work and even replaced a strike plate for us that was making the door difficult to open for several years and we never knew this was the cause!

Description of Work: He installed a Medeco deadbolt that I had purchased on my own. He arrived about an hour later than he told me but I originally told him he could come by anytime during the as I would be home and in no hurry. He completed the work quickly and the price was reasonable. The lock is working great.

+ -1 moreHe was quick to return my call and set up an appointment. However, he was somewhat late in arriving at the time scheduled and I had almost given up hope that he was coming. When he arrived he went right to work and did a very good job. I would use him again. I would just make certain that I was going to be at home for a few hours after the scheduled time. I felt that the price he charged was fair and it was less than I had been quoted on the phone by others.
Description of Work: Replaced a deadbolt lock and keyed to match the key for all other deadbolt locks on the house. Fixed a difficult lock and installed a new strike plate.

+ -1 moreUpon placing my first call to Jean, I got voicemail but he called me back within 5 minutes of placing my call. He arrived at my place within one hour (on a Sunday) of speaking with him. He was running 15 minutes behind and called to inform me. He completed the work in an hour's time, was very nice, and professional, clean and quiet. I would definitely use his service again and reccomend him. And in my opinion he charges a fair rate for his work and time.
Description of Work: Jean changed key locks on 3 doors at my house, and provided me with new keys.
