Description of Work: I had an old but functional sleeper love seat with ottoman. I had purchased fabric and new feet and needed the set completely re-done. |I met with the designer and reviewed my ideas. He gave me suggestions on how to create a plan with the fabric design to ensure my vision was translated into the end product. I am very happy with the result. It is a piece reborn!

Description of Work: Custom cushions for 112" sofa, 2 chair 1/2 sofas, 2 chaise lounges and 16 pillows.

Description of Work: Re-upholstered two bar stool seats and touched up scratches and dings in the wood, finishing with a clear coat to protect wood.

Description of Work: Re-slinged the fabric on 2 outdoor chaise lounge chairs, including pick-up and delivery. The chaises were old and their original fabric had deteriorated from exposure to the sun to the point that it ripped simply by sitting on it. We decided to re-sling the pair of matching chaises instead of buying new ones.

Description of Work: We had them do two jobs. The first was to fix my mother's dining room chair, which had split on the side. I checked out 4 places and they were the only ones who saw that the chair needed more than just regluing because the split was in the wood, not at the joint. They did the repair and it was flawless -- you can't even tell it was ever repaired. The second job was a little bumpier, but it worked out great in the end. We had two of my grandmother's wing-back, channel back chairs reupholstered. They were really worn out and I was having trouble finding fabric I liked. Their employee suggested I check out JoAnne's and I found a great material there on sale. Before buying it, I took a piece in to Steve (an owner) and asked it if would work for reupholstering the chairs. He said it would, and told me exactly how much to buy, which was much less yardage than the other three places had said.. They came and picked up the chairs, right on schedule, and returned them right on schedule, but they weren't anything like I expected. The chairs had thin, graceful lines before, and I wanted the same lines in the redone chairs, but they had overstuffed them. The chairs looked like sweet old ladies who went on a cruise and came back two weeks later 20 lbs heavier! I was so upset -- I hadn't SAID that they needed to look like they did before, but with different fabric, and the way they did them is very trendy now, so most people probably would have loved them, but to me, they just looked awful. I called Steve and he reassured me that they wanted the chairs to be like I wanted them, so they would pick them right up and redo them right away. I had taken "before" pictures before sending the chairs in originally, so I paired those pix up with "after" pictures of the way they looked after being reupholstered, then marked the pictures with exactly what I liked and what I didn't like, and sent those back with the chairs to Steve (at his request). The chairs just came back today and they are PERFECT. Exactly the way they were before, but with gorgeous new material. The craftsmanship is terrific and the attention to detail and how I asked them to do things in the pictures is perfect. Thank you, Steve! It was difficult to call and say I wasn't happy, but you took the bad news like a real trouper and made them perfect for me!

Description of Work: Six kitchen chairs very nicely reupholstered in a high-grade vinyl, and one very ornate, tufted chair was done in a velvet material.

Description of Work: We had 3 Danish modern chairs and a foot stool reupholstered. The one chair and step stool are Hans Wenger design and rather sculpted in nalgahide. We wanted the other two in the fabric but of the same weave and different colors so we were able to buy our own fabric and bring that in for the job.
