When they reinspected the attic there were four dead rats in the traps. So far, my renter says they don't hear anymore strange noise coming form the walls.

For many years we've had roof rats in our basement and attic, off and on. In the past we'd always been able to control them with traps, but this year they seemed to get too smart for the traps I was setting, so we asked Stealth Environmental to take a look. On their first visit they set more traps, performed an extremely thorough inspection of the house to find ways in and out, and gave us a bid for sealing everything up. The traps they set worked much better than mine -- two rats killed -- and we asked them to come back and do all the rodent-proofing they'd bid. Stealth was completely professional and competent on both occasions, in every way, and our problem is now solved. We saw one more rat after the rodent-proofing was completed: the screening and patching was so effective that it was stuck inside and had nowhere to go but into the house, where our cat cornered it and we were able to catch it and release it outdoors. Since then, nothing. We put out a piece of cheese in the basement, figuring any rats left inside would gobble it down; the cheese was still intact a week later. I enthusiastically recommend these guys.

I was very satisfied with the service I received from this company. It was easy to get an appointment. Trevis came on time. He spent nearly two hours inspecting my home to find where the rats might be coming in. He was very specific and clear about what needed to be sealed up and he was very open to the idea that I might do it myself. In addition, he sent me a detailed report of the repairs and how much he would charge for the work. He also set traps. A day later a rat was caught, which I disposed of myself. I highly recommend Stealth and would use them again.

Not well. I called eight days ago and have never received a call back.

The two technicians showed up the first visit on time as promised and did a very thorough inspection of the crawl space and attic space as well as the roof and all surrounding areas of the house. The provided me with detailed information and a plan and set snap traps. They have been back twice to remove rodents caught and made repairs that were needed to the roof. Both times I called and they were there very quickly -- the first time they came within three hours of my calling! Whenever I call the office staff is very friendly and professional and is responsive to my needs. Will continue to use them and would recommend them to others.

The work was completed as expected. The repairs were high quality, robust and done in a way that matched our home. Stealth provided complimentary roof and gutter cleaning. We're pleased with the results and have decided to continue using Stealth for monthly pest control.

So far so good, no more rats since the installation of all entry-point coverings.

About two weeks after closing on our new home, a beautiful one we had been working many years for, we discovered small German cockroaches crawling all over our kitchen floor. We had seen no sign of these during any of our walk throughs or during inspection and no one would have expected to see them in this kind of house or neighborhood. I couldn't believe it. We hadn't moved in yet and I wanted to address this before we did. I had heard that roaches are hard to get rid of and so I called a well known extermination franchise. I asked that operator some questions on the phone before setting up an appointment but didn't get any real answers and was treated like just another number, an appointment to book. I was sick over this roach problem and wanted to find an exterminator who would take the time to answer some questions about the roaches and educate me a bit before they sent someone out. So, I checked Angie's List for an alternative, liked the reviews for Stealth, liked that they are a family-owned business, and decided I'd give them a try. I got exactly the kind of treatment I wanted. Leah took the time to talk to me on the phone and provided a wealth of information about how roach problems develop and why they are difficult to control. But she also seemed to actually care! She explained that roaches find harborage in the motors and insulation of appliances, where it is difficult to spray and suggested that I check the insulation surrounding the dishwasher in particular. Getting rid of the dishwasher, she suggested, could significantly aid extermination. She did not have to offer this very helpful information. For the first service, Travis came to our home, and again we got an education from this man and not just a spraying. I felt he was knowledgeable, forthright, and honest. He made it very clear that he was there to permanently fix this problem and he felt confident that he would. Since we hadn't moved into the house yet and had some time, he suggested a few sprays 2-3 weeks apart. This would ensure that any newly hatched babies would be killed, since spraying doesn't kill eggs, before they'd have enough time to reproduce. By the time we had the next service 2 weeks later, we had pulled the dishwasher out to check as Leah suggested. Sure enough, upon pulling it out and pulling back the insulation, we found several dead roaches and probably 100 dead on the floor behind it. We pulled out the built-in microwave and found a few. I even discovered a baby crawling down the side of the gasket INSIDE the freezer door on my fridge! When we pulled outthe fridge we found literally hundreds of dead roaches. Leah was right. These things were living in my appliances. (Altough we only saw dead ones already at this point) Travis explained that we had a bigger problem here, was a bit stunned that the previous owners had let the problem get so bad and that they didn't disclose it to us, but he was still confident that we'd be done with the critters soon anyway. He really gave me a sense of hope. I was VERY freaked and afraid to even move into this house, and I was encouraged by his confidence. Travis did come out two more times to treat the kitchen, but we hadn't seen any more live roaches after that second spraying. Travis wanted to be thorough, and so did we! We ultimately decided to get rid of all our appliances during this whole process, which is probably why we didn't really see any live roaches after 2 sprays. They could have sprayed many more times had they not suggested I check my appliances, which speaks to their integrity. They DID NOT encourage me to to get rid of all my appliances. The decision was mine. They did reassure me that they could control the problem even with the appliances intact, but they knew the appliances were the problem and I am thankful they made me aware. As a last safety measure, after 2 months without live roaches, they drilled holes at the kitchen baseboards and dusted inside the walls - just in case there were any that had gotten inside the walls. We are now living inside the house, itr even over 3 months since we began this process, and we have not seen one roach. They are completely gone. Travis had said he planned for his purpose at our house to be a temporary one and he lived up to that. We now maintain a monthly service with Stealth just to treat the outside perimeter of our home as preventative maintenance from other little pests. They've earned our trust. I would highly recommend using Stealth for your extermination needs over any busy franchise. They're good people, pleasant to deal with, and deliver results.

I called Stealth Pest Control because of their rating on Angies list. I am a property manager and one of my properties had silverfish and ants.They came withing a couple of days and now spray monthly. It is always a pleasure speaking with Leah and the service is very reliable and professional. The initial price was $247 and the monthly is now $59. I feel it is high and that is why I gave them a B for price but I do value the good service.

I called Stealth to have an area surveyed that bees were hovering at. Leah was pleasant to speak with on the phone and very accommodating; she sent someone to my house quickly. Trevis at Stealth knew right away there wasn't a hive, but that bees were hanging around because there was a little water there. He recommended we get a new water heater, as ours was probably going to need replacing very soon. He was so right. The next day, my water heater completely broke and there was water everywhere. I spoke with Leah again and asked if Trevis could come the next day to replace the water heater and she said yes! As a new mom with a 6 week old baby, I was so relieved. Trevis was fast and very knowledgeable. He replaced the old water heater with a new one and corrected the existing gas line to uniform plumbing code. They did a great installation. were totally professional and very nice people to boot.

I first spoke to Leah and she was very friendly and professional - she was able to schedule the inspection very quickly. She first went over the cost and what the job would possibly intail. inspector came out, found there was evidence of rodents in the attic and set traps. He made note of all the repairs that needed to be done to prevent rodents from entering the house. This included numerous screens needed over vents and crawl spaces and also replacing a 6 ft. piece of exterior crown molding. The price for their original visit which was for the home inspection and report and included setting snap traps in the attic was 202.50. The cost for the repairs was a lot higher (769.00). This also included inspecting the traps and setting new ones if needed (49.00.) Everytime they come out to inspect traps it is an additional 49.00. All in all it is expensive but something that has to be taken care of and thoroughly - I did feel this company was thorough but probably not the cheapest. They did, however, get the job done.

They were prepared when they came out and knew exactly what to do. No chemicals were used, thankfully. Gophers were gone within a couple of weeks.

Stealth was great. Everyone I dealt with (on the phone & at my house) was incredibly polite, professional, and helpful. The last company I used did get rid of the rodent, but I had to hire a separate handyman to do the necessary repairs to my house & garage. This made everything incredibly difficult and time consuming. I (who knows nothing about rodents) had to be the one explaining to the handyman what the necessary repairs were. I think some crucial details probably got lost in translation. This time Stealth did all the work for me, and they did a great job. Found them here on Angie's List, and I would definitely recommend them to others.

SUCH nice people and deliver what they promise. I have a dog and was worried about toxic chemicals around him -- they did organic treatment in the house and backyard and then regular treatment around house. And when I had a small relapse of ants they came right back out and re-treated free of charge. And I am most happy to report that I am not longer under invasion from the ants! Trevis (who did the treatments) was also nice enough to point out that the reason I was also being overrun by snails was because I was way overwatering my yard (which he said also contributes to the ant problem!). I've remedied that now too. Stealth was SO much better thand dealing with a big national pest chain. Real people who you can get on the phone and deliver what they promise. VERY happy.

I left a message in the morning and received a call back later that afternoon. I called to see if I could receive an estimate on some rodent work that needed to be done at one of the rental properties I manage and they quoted me $275 just to visit and write up an estimate. If it's $275 just to give a quote, I wonder how expensive their services must be. No thank you... I called another company, Surf City Pest Control and they came out to give me a free estimate. So, there is a stark contrast between the fees charged for estimates given by different service providers.

They were very prompt and very professional. We're still deciding on how we're going to handle the removal.

The owner made a thorough inspection of the premises and provided an fair estimate on sealing areas where the mice/rats may be entering. He then set traps in the attic and crawl space where he noticed tracks. He returned and spent several hours sealing up the areas where the rodents were possibly entering which also eliminated areas where wasps/hornets may make nests. His philosophy of not just exterminating, but eliminating the areas of intrusion really worked! I've called again regarding a possible raccoon eating my vegetables and the owners wife was very responsive and gave some free advice.

We spent $150 for an initial evaluation of our 8-unit apartment building for monthly pest control services. Leah is good to deal with in the front office - accurate quote on the phone and via email. The technician(s) showed up on time and did a good job of spraying around the building and also in fixtures where spiders had been breeding. We have Stealth come out monthly for $45/per month for continued pest control spraying service and so far, we haven't had any issues. This is a very competitive rate for a commercial property.

A worker in the attic found evidence that there had been rodents there. Stealth was recommended and after checking Angies list, I called Stealth and they came out the same day. They set traps in the attic and at other possible entry points around the house. One week later Trevis came out to inspect the traps. I chose to have him inspect them. He found nothing in them. He closed all potential entry points. The work took several hours. Trevis worked steadily and efficiently until the work was done. The entire experience was very positive.

They showed up on time and did a very thorough inspection before discussing what we could do. They gave me several options on how to treat the problem (large scale vs small scale). Tony and Jack were quick and, so far, very thorough. They used a waterproof dust to treat the ant issue, which would not harm me or my cats (we did go upstairs while they were working, but just a light odor when they were down which cleared once I opened the windows), and sealed several obvious entry ways.
