Regal Carpet Upholstery & Drapery Cleaning

They did not honor their quote, they arrived late, and they weren't prepared. bottom line - The rug cleaner said the dispatcher UNDERQUOTES CUSTOMERS EVERY SINGLE DAY. full story below I asked over the phone before booking the appointment how much it would be for a standard 5x8 Pottery Barn Kids area rug. They said they could do it for the 38.95 special price. When the cleaners arrived (late), I double checked that it would be 39. The cleaner said no way, it would be at least 75 dollars because it is wool. I told the cleaner, I was quoted 39. I called the dispatcher. The dispatcher asked if it be ok if they charge 60? I said no, you quoted me 39. Then dispatcher called the rug cleaner (who was at my house) and they got in a fight. The rug cleaner told the dispatcher you are always underquoting the customers! The rug cleaner said the dispatcher UNDERQUOTES CUSTOMERS EVERY SINGLE DAY. The rug cleaner said it puts him in bad positions because it means when he shows up to do a job, he has to be the bad guy insisting on more money. Finally the cleaner said he would do me a favor and do the job for 50. I had him do it because it wasn't worth the hassle to find another quote. It took them less than 10 minutes. I have no idea how clean it got as it wasn't that visibly dirty to begin with. But there was another problem. When they clean area rugs, apparently they need a clean outdoor area to do it. As my OUTDOOR areas are OUTSIDE, they said my outdoor area was too dirty. So he asked if I have a broom? Now it just seems to me, if they need a broom swept outdoor area to do every job, they should bring a broom. Just one other note, when I came down to talk to them while I was going back and forth with the dispatcher, the rug cleaner's assistant was lounging in my garage sitting on my couch and talking on his cell phone to a friend. This wouldn't always bother me, but there was something uncomfortable about it. Finally, they said they would be here between 9 & 11. They showed up 45 minutes late - at 11:45.

couldn't be happier with entire process (2 months) that began with regal and their relations with other contractors had emgergency situation that began easter sunday eve, never heard of regal before, just picked them out of the yellow pages. can't say enough about them and all various crafts that became involved in the process of putting our home back together following flooding situation inn our home

IT WAS OUTSTANDING. HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND VERY POLITE. HE GAVE ME AN HONEST OPINION AND EVERYTHING WAS WAY ABOVE PAR. HE GOT ALL MY SPOTS OUT, DID THE JOB HE CAME IN FOR AND DID A VERY GOOD JOB.
