Your move was completed by three of our most experienced and trusted movers, who worked 9.5 hours on a full pack and move. These team members have been with us for over three years, have clean background checks, and no history of complaints. They are consistently praised for their professionalism and integrity. In a text after the move, you alleged $200 was stolen from your purse, items were damaged or missing, and that someone attempted to purchase a firearm using your email. If you suspect identity theft, we strongly urge you to report it to the proper authorities. No evidence has been provided connecting these claims to our crew. We also contacted you directly to discuss your concerns, during which you demanded $6,000 in compensation—an amount unsupported by any documentation. This excessive request casts doubt on the legitimacy of the accusations. You posted a public message claiming “Movers stole money and items... broke many things... hidden costs.” This language is defamatory, especially given no concerns were raised during or immediately after the move. All charges were disclosed and approved before service—there were no hidden fees. If you have legitimate claims regarding damage or loss, please file a formal written claim for review. A great company to help with moving. I recently relocated from LA to the Bay Area and requested quotations from a handful of companies, most would quote a high number and then become aggressive about accepting their offer, sometimes even calling multiple times a day to say "you will lose your place in line etc". However, with Giant Movers 365, my consultant Jessica was very professional. Instead of quoting a large number, I was told the cost will be on a volume basis (a good quantitative metric for me to follow!). On the day of loading, all the boxes and furniture were labelled numerically, fragile items were packed appropriately, and loaded very efficiently into the truck. The delivery was done within 24 hours and all the way to the apartment and an extra storage facility. Everything was intact and very efficiently done. Overall very happy and would highly recommend. I never used their packing service but next time I totally would! - they do it better.
Description of Work: Moving a 1.5 bedroom apartment from Santa Monica to Sunnyvale. I had to delay my moving date 3 times and the movers were very accommodating of the changes. They are very well equipped with all sorts of trolleys and moving equipment and also experienced with packaging all sorts of items, including those that are irregularly shaped.

Giants Movers 365 checked out as a legit proffesional moving company. I used them twice in a month to move heavy furniture, multiple pieces from West LA to San Fernando Valley. Both times the crews were 3 men, one 26 ft truck and 2nd time 20 foot truck. They were professional acting, polite, and obviously experienced. They delivered the furniture without damage and placed everything nicely in the receiving home without leaving a mess.

They were supposed to com between 2:00 to 4:00 pm and came at 7:00 pm. Then they dropped a piece of my furniture down a flight of steps. Additionally they charged me and additional$160 for "labor" and asked for a tip. Never again. It ended up costing me over $700 for a local move where they were 4 hours late and damaged my furniture.

Our crew of only two movers completed that labor-intensive work in just 1.5 hours on each end, which is both reasonable and efficient under the circumstances. There were no hidden fees or extra charges. Your rate was $129/hour for 6 hours, which totals $774.00. This amount matches exactly what was charged—there were no unexpected fees added. We understand you mentioned a piece of furniture was dropped, and we sincerely apologize for that. Please note that we have a straightforward claims process in place. All it takes is a quick call or email to us, and we will be happy to help you file a claim so we can address the issue properly. Excellent service! Would totally recommend. Douglas, Alfredo, and Kevin went above and beyond moving my furniture, while being extra cautious. Even though there were some items that seemed impossible to fit through the door, based on the unit and door’s position, they still found a way to make it fit. They were very honest about fees ahead of time and kept tracks of the hours spent, checking in with me every other hour showing how me the time consumed until that point and the estimated total based on that.

Do Not Trust Giant Movers! This company is a complete SCAM! I had a horrible experience with Giant Movers and I strongly urge others to stay away. What was supposed to be a straightforward move turned into a prolonged scam. The movers intentionally worked at an unreasonably slow pace to inflate the bill, dragging out the process for hours. A 15minute drive was falsely rounded up to an hour, and instead of the agreed $480, they charged me an outrageous $1350! On top of the overcharging, they mishandled my belongings, causing significant damages including a broken floor lamp, a scratched water dispenser, a dented garbage can and a workout machine with noticeable white scratches. Despite the extra charges, they failed to properly protect my items properly. When I questioned the charges, they were completely dismissive and unhelpful. This company is dishonest, unprofessional and a complete rip-off. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company at all costs!

All of our moves operate under a non-binding, hourly rate agreement. You hired only 2 movers at $119/hour with a large 26-foot truck, and you declined our recommendation to add more movers, which would have shortened the overall time and reduced cost. You stated this was a 1-bedroom move, yet our crew completely filled a 26-foot truck, which is more commonly used for a 3–4 bedroom home. The move included a flight of stairs at pickup, and the delivery was to the 3rd floor of a building with an elevator. We worked for a total of 9 hours and 15 minutes, which included loading, unloading, and drive time. While a map may show a 36-minute drive from Burbank to Studio City, please understand that navigating in a fully loaded 26-foot truck in Los Angeles traffic takes significantly longer. Despite this, we only charged you 30 minutes for drive time—even though it actually took longer. As for the claims of damaged items, this is the first we’re hearing of it, and we encourage you to file a formal claim at any time—no questions asked. We have a simple, fair process to address and resolve any such issues. Calling our company a “scam” is not only false, it’[Member Information Removed] unfair to the hardworking team that completed your move under the conditions provided. The worst moving ever done. I hired 3 people crew to move 2 bed 2 bath apartment. I was mainly thinking to make them take the heavy items and maybe g have them pack little bit of stuff. So they said the furniture wraps and all are included and the guy who came in told us that they will be charging for the tapes they use. I mean without the tapes included what are they going to do with the wraps? Didn't make any sense. And then all the loading took around 3 to 4 hours. Which basically was 2 beds 2 big dressers. One small dresser a tv stand a dining table and a fridge. Then we did keep some boxes packed which they took. And after rea himg the destination , I asked them to put a table inside the house which was in my garage and they charged me an extra hour for it. It was like even after paying so much money and time we still had to do the moving ourselves. Would never consider these moving companies in future. They were calling me kind of every day till the job. And there was no followup call or anything after the job was done. Also the people who came only one person knew English and we had to wait for him each time for giving any instructions. And even after giving clear idea of putting bigger bed in master bedroom they messed it up

"Dishonest Billing and Unresponsive Service" I hired Giant Movers 365 for a move at $119/hr for two movers, scheduled between 3-5 PM with two stops: a storage unit and a house. Before arrival, I received a call offering a third mover for over $150/hr, which I declined. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing due to inaccurate billing and poor accountability. The movers arrived at 3:20 PM and completed loading by 4:20 PM, but I was billed for 1.5 hours instead of 1. At the destination, they started unloading around 5:45 PM and finished by 7:00 PM, but I was billed for 2.5 hours instead of 1.5. In total, I paid $50 as a deposit, $815 to the movers, and $40 in tips. One mover wrapped my bed and directly asked for a tip, which felt unprofessional. Attempts to contact the company for clarification have gone unanswered. While I’ve decided to let it go for peace of mind, I hope this review warns others. If you hire them, keep detailed records and monitor their time closely.

Amazing, the team was so punctual and accommodating for all of my needs. They were punctual and fast. Joel, the foreman who helped out on my moving day, was very communicative and insured everything went smoothly. He asked all of the right questions and worked very hard to make sure that everything was exactly as I wanted it to be. Renee was also extremely helpful in arranging everything and ensuring all of my needs were met. Fantastic in every way. Early. Honest. Pleasant. Fast. Great crew. Joel was awesome. It was our first time using movers and he helped put us at ease, kept everything light, explained everything, kept our anxieties in check. Haha. Just a great dude, great presence. All of the guys were! Tthank you Joel! And Jessica was also great, when we set everything up. We had to adjust days and she made it super simple. Moving sucks.
