He did a beautiful job on the fence. His work was excellent.. We had several contractors out but TY stood out . He said ,if you want quality work I'm here. I won't do work to cut corners. I use the best materials and take pride in what I do. After 30 plus years in hiring workers ,contractors , laborers, I learned how important it is to have a job done right. So I decided to hire him. I would definatily hire him for more work if needed. And will definatly refer him if someone needs work done. HIs price seemed fair. But a Quality job is what we were looking for... And we found it.!

I wanted to install a couple of skylights, I had Tyler come in and give an estimate. I was impressed with his knowledge and background. I had other estimates higher and lower, but I hired him because he seemed like he was the most capable. After I gave him the job, he said he wanted to do some additional reinforcement on the roof joists and add some heavy beams just to make sure it was super strong. He said he would do this for no additional cost, even paying for the materials himself. He and another very experienced contractor did the job quickly, cleanly, and beautifully. We definitely are going to have Ty back for more work. It was an excellent experience and the work was very good.

I would really recommend him. I was going to buy a door from Lowes, and the door was going to cost me $240. He got the very same door for me for $109. He put in the door perfectly, and took his time doing it. He then also, helped me with a gate that I was repairing. He is a very nice guy. He did extra things for me at no extra charge. I had another door that didn't close, and he fixed it for me. He is an excellent carpenter and a wonderful man.

I just spent an additional $500 to have Ty's horrible door-installation corrected by another contractor. I realize I could have called Ty back to do it right, but I didn't want this man in my house again. Aside from dropping the "F" bomb every two seconds, he is completely high maintenance. He tried to tell me that the problem with the door installation was the door maker itself. And he was the guy who recommended the door distributor! And I spent more than $2000 on this door! After he installed it, the door began scaping the ground and it didn't stay open. In other words, it's not properly alligned in the frame and swings shut on its own. Lopsided. When I had a new contractor come out to look at it, he gave me two options: shave the door or cut a larger opening so the door would fit properly. The second contractor assured me that the problem was 100 percent installation -- NOT the door. In other words, Ty mismeasured the door when he ordered it. If you do contract with Ty, you might want to reconsider having small children in his presence, as he's got a filthy mouth. P.S. It took me this long to write a review because I only recently joined Angie's list; I've been meaning to warn people about this guy for some time.

The remodeling was done very nicely. You should always have a back up $ money $ for any additional cost such as termite problem.
