He was quick - polite - thorough. When he didn't the colored bulbs i wanted - he ordered them and came back without further charge.

Doron recommended that we replace the fixtures because the wiring had become old and brittle. While he and his assistant were at lunch I purchased 2 new fixtures which he then installed. A couple of years ago another electrician checked the exterior electrical outlet because of our complaint about having to go outside to push the reset button whenever our stereo system wouldn't go on. That elctrician said he couldn't find anything wrong with the electrical outlet. Doron assessed the situation and quickly found that it was wired wrong. Our stereo now works consistently and our frustration is now over! Doron is thorough and knowledgeable and we will definitely call D & D Electrical again for our future electrical needs.

I had used Mr. Garby's services before, when I had him install a new main electrical panel at our home. Because of the outstanding job that he did, I invited him to return for this job as well. He brought all of the necessary equipment with him, and was ready to do the job. He found out that the wiring to the boxes which were going to get the new receptacles had not been connected to the electrical subpanel in the garage, so first he had to do that first. I would like to point out that Mr. Garby did not install that subpanel in the garage. That was done for me by another contractor. After that, everything went smoothly. Again I am very satisfied with Mr. Garby's work, and I will call him again when I need him.

Doron is such a nice guy - We called him when our pool heater broke on the morning of a scheduled swim party for our 7 year old twins. He rearranged his schedule and came out immediately. Turns out they couldn't do the repair; it was out of their area of expertise - our pool contractor came out and completed it - but they identified the problem. I will definitely call them in the future for electrical work.

I called D & D on a Friday about noon when outdoor equipment shorted out, melted, smoking, etc due to water flooding from neighboring pool equipment. They arrived as scheduled around 4:00 pm on a friday afternoon. He (tewam investigated the damage & gave me an estimate. He had made everything safe and could return the following Tuesday to perform/complete repairs. Or his crew could start immediately but it would cost much more and take longer due to darkness and after hours. I agreed to Tuesday morning. He arrived promptly and expertly completed the repairs and cleaned up afterwards. He also made contact with neighbor to explain damage and repairs made. Everything was professional, polite, prompt. I intend on using them again and again.

Superb!! Doron is extremely thorough and exacting AND he has a great follow through. The city was very slow to respond for the inspection, but Doron stood on them (he made 21 phone calls in one day) until they finally got back to us. This guy is the best!!

I was extremely impressed with the responsiveness, attitude, expertise and work ethic of provider. We had never met before nor had we done any prior business. His professionalism, arriving promptly with two helpers, and quickly diagnosing and repairing the problem impressed me tremendously. I had been waiting for over a week for my regular electrician to show up. He kept putting me off day after day, I finally got fed up and went to Angie's List and that is where I find D & D. I now have a new electrician and will be happily giving referals to many. Thank you Angies list!

If you are like me you are reading a lot of reviews so I will keep this short and to the point. Both times D&D did work for me he was prompt, exacting with his work and made it a point to double check his work to make sure it was how he would want it if he was doing the work in his own home. He was helpful and and did not push extra work on me even though he knew there were other code issues to be dealt with. He was always reachable on the phone and when I had to reschedule he was understanding and did not pressure me to reschedule. I will use him again and again until my whole home is up to code. No matter my future electrical issue I found my electrician and will always call D&D. You should do the same.

Doron and his crew provided us with outstanding service and the quality of the work was excellent. I had received several competitive bids, but I chose Doron's professionalism and attitude. On his first visti with me, he even fixed an electrical switch for free. Everything was done to code. After a few days, Doron called to check in and see how everything was going. He offered to come back at no charge in the event that anything was not working to our satisfaction. But everything worked just fine. I would definitely use his services again.

Doron was great- very responsive, polite, and concerned that everything was done correctly. We had originally asked for an estimate to replace all our overhead lighting, and when we decided not to go ahead with that but do a smaller rewiring job, Doron didn't have any problem with that, and adjusted the estimate accordingly. His guys were neat, polite, and cleaned up well afterwards. Wouldn't hesitate to use D &D in the future.

This review is going to be harsh but 100% truthful. I would like to start by mentioning that Jose was a kind and hard worker. However I cannot say the same about his boss Doron Garby. On the first day I looked out the window to find Mr. Garby on the opposite side of my property exploring areas of the house with no permission granted or any supervision. The next day, again Mr. Garby decided to take another tour of the property on his own. Much to my distaste Mr. Garby attempted to lecture me, giving me personal advice on how to run my life. I won't go into detail, but if Mr. Garby was to have cancer, he might rethink his opinion that he shared with me about my life decisions. After the men left for their second day of work, I brought the incident up with my mother who lives at our house. She shared she also had an interesting experience. Mr. Garby stated that if he were to ever need a kidney transplant he would commit suicide by jumping off of a bridge if nothing could be done. Yes, I know how crazy this sounds, I was just as astonished as you are. We explained how unprofessional this was. When confronted about these issues, Mr. Garby put his hand on our door and refused to let go. He strongly believes that it is because of his accent that we were unhappy with his service, which is completely irrelevant. He came back for a third day and finished the job. This was beyond a negative experience and caused extreme distress for my family. I would never recommend D&D Electrical, not because of their lack of ability, but because of their extreme arrogance and attention-seeking qualities.

I am not an electrician, however, I believe the work was done satisfactory and professionally. Doran was in absolute joy to be at the house, he was funny and made things go smoothly.

D&D was very courteous, professional and friendly. He was there for a bit over one hour and took the time to install the light on the porch as well, which was not part of the initial discussion, without charging me extra for a part he provided. Overall, I was very pleased with his service and I plan to call him again in the future.

I came home one evening to discover that I only had power in half of my house. Some electrical outlets were working and others were not. The following morning, I called Doron at 7:15 a.m. and he answered promptly. When I explained the problem to him, he advised me to contact DWP as he had experienced a similar issue with another client and wanted to avoid charging me for an unnecessary service appointment. He told me that if the DWP was unable to fix the issue to call him back and we would set up an appointment time. He even gave me the service telephone number for DWP off the top of his head! I took his advice and it was a DWP issue. The problem was fixed. While Doron didn't perform any service for me, I would highly recommend him due to his honesty and integrity. He helped me with my problem free of charge. I will definitely use his services in the future.

Doron is a professional that cares about his work and is a very fair price. Doron and his crew did excellent work from start to finish. I called Doron about a year ago for a quote, took me that long to save for the big job. when I called him back and refreshed his memory he knew who I was and even remembered coming out for the quote. D&D showed up on time and had the entire panel done in one day and the kitchen finished finished in one day also. 2 days of work. His crew worked all day to get the panel finished and the 2nd day to get the kitchen done. They cleaned up there mess and you would never know they were there. I also stopped by several times to look at the job they were doing and was very impressed with the work they performed. all the wiring was perfect and looked so neatly done. Please do yourself and favor and call Doron. DONOT call big retail electrical companies, as they will empty your wallet so fast and it will not look as good as Doron's work. I will be using them for all my future electrical needs. realized I finished a review from a year ago so re-did this one with current date.

Doron returned my call promptly, made an appointment for two days in the future, and showed up on time that day. He didn't have to change all the outlets to bring me up to code, so he saved me money with his good advice. He was polite and professional and did the job quickly and cleanly. A very good experience.

Overall experience with D & D was very positive. They knew what they were doing. They were courteous, pleasant, and professional. I have had no issues with either fixture since installation. I would definitely call them again for any electrical and lighting needs.

He was great! Very easy to get in to initial contact. Even though he was a little late due to a job before mine, he kept me aware of his progress. When they arrived, they very quickly determined the problem and replaced the defective part. I would use them again, and will refer them to friends.

Doran personally came out to look at the job. We explained that we wanted the house rewiring with a view to remodeling our kitchen in the near future. Doran explained the different options for approaching the job and we decided to it in the way that was best for our plans. His men arrived on time for the start of the job and every day after that until it was completed. They took great care in protecting our hardwood floors and covering everything with plastic. When they needed to make channels in our walls for new switches that we wanted, they did so with minimum damage. Doran addressed any concerns or preferences I had during the rewire and the job was completed on time and exactly for the price he gave us.

Doron, the owner of D&D, send two of his workmen immediately after I called to help fix what I thought would be a small issue with an outlet. While his crew fixed the initial problem, we discovered that our 1954 built house had some outdated panels and subpanels. We arraged for Doron to review the situation and give us an estimate for necessary work. As agreed, he came on a Saturday morning and after reviewing the three panels, gave us an estimate to fix the problem for $2.000, described in detail what and why would need to be done. After scratching his head for a while, he proposed a simpler solution for half the price, which needed no permit. On the agreed upon date, he and his crew did the work described above. Doron ensured that all circuit breakers in the panel were properly identified so that anyone can take power off a circuit when needed. Besides Doron being a really nice and funny guy, he makes sure that the work is being done properly and the site is left clean and neat. At 1:30pm on Thursday Feb. 20th, Doran and his helper, Jose arrived at my house. I explained everything that had occurred and went over with him all the affected parts of the house. He methodically went about shooting the trouble. He and Jose work well together and are efficient. The systematically checked all the same outlets and switches I had checked. After about 2 hours, they decided to run a fish through the conduit carrying the wire for the affected circuits. They were able to find a light switch where the wires branched off to other portions of the house. They deduced that the hot wire feeding the affected upstairs master bathroom actually connected through a 3 way switch in the downstairs living room, before branching off upstairs. While the light bulb controlled by the 3 way switch was not affected, the switch was affecting the continuity to the upstairs master bath and other affected rooms. Once he replaced the 3 way switch, power was restored. Additionally he found a faulty GFI switch, which was affecting several outlets downstream of the main fault. Total time was just over 3 hours. I suspect that other electricians would have given up after a couple of hours and suggested a more expensive rewiring solution. But not Doran. He and his helper efficiently and methodically looked for and found the trouble. I am not sure how many other electricians would have found it. I appreciate his honesty and integrity....I have a new electrician for all my future jobs.

Everything went fine. He got there within a few hours, found the problem and took care of it.

Doron the owner arrived on a Saturday to repair an outdoor pole lamp that was not working. He called earlier to confirm the appointment and to give me a time when he would be on site. He completed all of the usual checks and determined that I had a bunch bad light bulbs, and the fixture was actually working. No doubt I felt like an idiot for calling an electrician for this kind of a problem. He recommended a new type LED bulb as it had a long lifespan and would not need regular light bulb replacement. I did purchase the LED bulb from him. The whole job was finished in about 1/2 hour. Overall the experience went well, Doron was professional and thorough in his work. I would definitely use his services again should I have electrical problems. Later that evening the light turned on and the pole lamp is working fine.
