They were really nice and any issues I had they came right back and fixed. I have also recommended them to another friend that used them for an inspection. The scheduling was okay and within the timeline they had quoted me. They stuck with the estimate they gave me and anything additional was because I wanted something changed or additional work done. They made sure that they cleaned up after themselves every night. They really made sure to dot their I’s and cross their T’s. I plan on using them again in a couple of months.

I am in the middle of a rehab of my entire house, i called doron to do a project in one day while the window guys were not going to be working. He came thru on saturday with two guys Jose and Jose. I would trust these guys with my children. They were kind and professional and always working. It was light speed around the house. Doron sent me up to his electrical supply shop in the valley, J and S electrical, this place is ripe for a reality show, I was laughing the entire time. They gave me a great deal. D&D worked until 6pm Saturday to finish the job and make sure everything was safe and sound. I have a few more projects and i will surely bring in Doron and his crew!

Had received a bid previously for about $1600 from a different company - decided to call D&D for a quote. They came in about $500 under. He came out for the initial estimate. No BS here. Straightforward, honest and explained everything. Arrived on time the day of the install. They were flexible when I asked for little changes. There was one item they identified when they were putting in a new switch - a rats nest of wires in the switch box. One was exposed, the others were way too short, and there were too many wires in the box to be safe. There was an added cost for that and it was a good value - took about 1.5 hours to fix that mess. I highly recommend calling D&D.

I initially called Doron and D&D to see if he could replace overheard lines to the garage and combine two electrical boxes into one. The house used to be a duplex, and we wanted to just combine the boxes. Doron arranged for a LADWP planner to come look at the box and let us know if our plans were to code - we didn't have to call anyone ourselves, which was great. Unfortunately, the planner wanted us to move our electrical box closer to the overhead lines. Doron gave us a written estimate based on the work, which matched the final cost. He completed the work almost immediately, with two days of work, then a return visit to meet with the inspector, who approved of his work with one small change. Doron finished up himself, and came back one more time to make a small change I requested (he installed an additional exterior outlet for 175 bucks.) He also arranged to have LADWP come out to replace our drop from the main power lines, again saving me from having to deal with the hassle of their phone service myself. All work was completed smoothly and effectively. I was out of town during part of the work, so he sent me texts with updates and pictures of how it was going. I would definitely recommend the service to others!

I originally thought that I would have to do a major job on the elevtricity in this old (c. 1941) house which I rent out. Doron Garby was the only one of the three electricians who urged me not to do that updating, since he felt that it would cause more problems. So he saved me thousands of dollars. All three of the electricians I selected to give me estimates were A rated on Angie's List. I would like to praise one of the others, Power Up Electric. I would have happily used that company.

Could not be happier. Doron was prompt for our 7am appointment, and he arrived with two additional workers. The original plan was for him to only install the outside light, which would have included adding a two J-boxes where there weren't ones - one for the fixture, one for the switch - and tying into the existing garage electrical. For this he had quoted $150-$250 on the phone, and said it would be $175 when he saw the situation. He offered some suggestions for alternatives to installing a dedicated switch for the light (e.g., motion sensor, timer). I appreciated the suggestions, but I confirmed that we just wanted a switch. As he was surveying the situation in the garage, he noted that a lot of the wiring in the garage was just exposed wire not in conduit (~30'-40' branching to two separate outlets), which he noted could be unsafe. He described what he would recommend, which involved replacing the wire with conduit and adding two new outlets to one of the boxes where a number of things were plugged in. He quoted $450 to do everything, including the light and switch, and I agreed. It was not a hard sell by any means, and I was very pleased with the quote given how much I suspected it would cost to have someone else do the job on another day and the inconvenience of having to stay home from work another day. All told, the work took two people about 3 hours. They seemed very considerate of our belongings in the garage, and did a good job cleaning up when the work was done. They made some smart decisions on their own about rerouting the conduit to make for a cleaner and more logical installation than simply running conduit on the same route as the wire. They checked multiple times to ensure the light fixture and switch were being installed where I wanted them, and it was refreshing to see them with both tape measure and level to ensure the results were level and located properly (seems obvious, but having had tile installed crookedly without a care by another contractor, I really appreciate when people take the time and use the proper tools to do a job right). We had an extra pipe from an old electrical installation still in place, and Doron offered to remove it and patch the hole at no extra cost. He offered to reuse one of the existing outlets rather than charge for a new one, which I appreciated. All in all, I was very pleased with the results. Doron came back at the end of the job and walked through everything that had been done with me to ensure I was happy. He even tested one thing himself that one of his guys had already tested for me, just to be sure, which I also appreciated. I would definitely use them again. The one odd thing was not getting an invoice at the end of the job. Doron offered to email me, but it was just a little weird to hand over a check without some type of receipt indicating what had been done, by whom, and when. I certainly don't expect to have a problem with their work, but it would be nice for my records to keep track of the work that had been done. A small point, definitely, given how happy I was with the rest of the effort.

Went well. I had to have a dedicated line installed from the breaker panel to the heater, so it was a pretty big job. The did top quality work. They definitely care about their work and execute at the top level. My oven wasnt working 2 days after the job, and they came over right away to make sure that the oven had power. Would highly recommend.

D&D Electrical Services, and in particular the owner Doron, did a great job for us. I originally contacted Doron because I was concerned with some dimming lights when my wife used a vacuum cleaner. Doron explained that this was caused because the vacuum was drawing 15 amps and that we might want to install a separate circuit for the outlet, but that dimming by itself was not unexpected nor t necessarily a hazard. While Doron was there I also asked him about my options to rewire some or all of the house with grounded outlets. After some discussion, Doron provided me with an estimate for a complete rewire for $9,000, which seemed like a fair amount give the large amount of work involved. Doron and his 3 helpers did a wonder job of minimizing the impact of the rewiring project on our lives over the 5 days that it took to rewire the house. Both my wife and I are at home during the day and the work was done in sections and at the end of each day almost all the house was functional from an electrical perspective. I particularly appreciated Doron's many thoughtful suggestions about where outlets were to be located, how many outlets were, and his sincere desire to may sure were were completely happy with the work that was being done. This was one of the most positive contractor experiences I have had and I have recommended Doron to other neighbors who have expressed a desire to have similar work done.

Doron was the total professional. He and his helper arrived on time. He explained exactly was he was going to do. They were quick and precise. They cleaned up any mess they made. I would use them again and again!

I called D&D Electrical Services to troubleshoot a overhead light in our bathroom that quit working in a house we have owned less than a month. Doron was not only tracked down and fixed the loose connection in the breaker box but he went out of the way to replace a faulty GFI on the other side of the house that he just happened to notice and I wasn't even aware was bad. I also pointed out some strange behavior with a switch-receptacle in the kitchen which he offered to look into as well. He ended up replacing the GFI and installing a new switch with no additional cost from his original price. When writing out the check he asked where I had heard of his service and when I told him Angie's list he pointed out that there was a coupon on there and asked if I had noticed. He went ahead and applied the coupon even though I had missed it. His helpers were nice, they put everything back together even though I had pulled much of it apart before they showed up; which was a pleasant surprise. And Doron was also more than happy to explain to me everything he did. The experience was really astonishing; the best I've had with any contract since we moved to LA over a year ago.

We bought the house knowing it needed major electrical work. D&D was one of 3 bids. Doran's bid was very specific to the services being performed and he was very responsive to phone calls which counts for a lot when the importance of the job is so high. Doran and crew were able to work very fast as we wanted this work done before occupying the house. They started on the agreed to date and showed up on time every day, 10 hours a day at least. Everything works great, no issues. I was a bit surprised at the number of wall holes I had to patch that they opened to run the new wires. Having never done this before it didn't occur to me ask if this was part of the rewire process and in hindsight would appreciate having been warned about it. He did tell me about the exterior stucco patching that would have to be done around the new panel, but didn't inform me about the interior holes that would have to be patched. Whoever you hire to do a new panel or rewire job, make sure to ask about wallboard and/or stucco patching because this can add significantly to the cost (or your time if you DIY the patching as I did).

Messaged for service quote, and Doron responded very promptly. Looking to hire an electrician to replace all our mismatched outlets & switches (that we will be providing). Rough estimate is fair, and he offers to come on site for free estimate with no obligation on our part. He does have a high volume of work, & won't be available for another couple weeks. We do appreciate the honesty & will be contacting him in the near future to follow up on the work if it doesn't get done beforehand.

Doron's service was excellent. He came out initially to have a look at the job and advise on how he would complete it. He was always responsive to my phone calls and promptly called back if we missed each other. He showed up on time, performed the job very professionally and achieved a great end result. I will definitely use him for all of my electrical work/requirements in the future.

The work was fine. They were very professional and careful of my belongings while they did the work. They did a good job.

Half the power had gone out in my house the night before...and it was the half with the appliances. I called Doron the next morning and though he was too busy to come out, he took the time to help me troubleshoot the problem. I sent a photo of the circuit box and he recommended I call the DWP for this type of problem, which I did. He even called later to see how things were going. Based on reviews by others and what I experienced, I would absolutely recommend Doron.

The crew showed up first thing in the am and worked diligently with professionalism and quickness to make it a one day project. I was pleased and happy with the entire process.

Doron answered the phone when I called and apologized that his trucks were out on a big job so he had no tools, but he offered to come over and give me a free bid and if it was something he could do with his tool belt, he'd do it for free. An hour and a half later he showed up, diagnosed a short in the panel that could have started a fire and fixed it at no charge. This was above and beyond the call of duty. As of today, he has won a new customer for life. Very responsive, personable and professional. We've been without a regular electrician for a few years now, going from one to another, never being fully satisfied. I'm delighted to finally have someone I can trust.

They are wonderful. He said he might not be able to come out today. He walked me over the phone how to fix the issue. He was very patient. It was more than the flipping the circuit switch on.

The owner of the company, Doron, is a pleasure to work with. He maintains excellent communication throughout the process with a high level of courtesy and professionalism. He directly oversees the work and his crew does a very neat and clean installation. Doron's priorities are satisfying the customer, providing a high-quality service at reasonable price and making sure that all his work is to code and safe. A good example of his professionalism is an issue we had with the wiring for a Jacuzzi. The previous owner of the house did not have it installed to code. Doron and his crew worked on correcting the problems for half a day but he was still concerned about its safety. While Building and Safety was at the property to inspect the work on the panel he consulted with the inspector about the Jacuzzi and they determined that it could not be properly wired. Since the Jacuzzi was not salvageable, Doron refunded me the cost of the work his crew had done. This was very fair and demonstrated his concern for customer satisfaction. I highly recommend Doron for any electrical issues that arise.

Doran and the men who work with him are a pleasure. They are professional and considerate. I appreciated his honesty and willingness to work hard to fix the faulty work that another electrician had done.

I really like that Doron Garby offered others service such as paint and recess lighting. I said "no", but thought about it and called him back and said "yes". I was really appreciative that he offered additional suggestions. He was always on time and sometimes worked late until 6p or 7p into the evening. He would bring about 4-5 workers with him depending on what needed to be done. He had enough personnel working with him. He did it quickly and everything has worked out perfect.

Everything went smoothly. The contractor was pleasant to work with at all times. Always answered my phone calls immediately when I would call him. Very professional and is a perfectionist. He has a very calm and reassuring manner. I highly recommend him.

They did a very good job. The finished work exceeded my expectations in terms of how attractive it was. The owner was creative, pleasant, prompt and efficient. The working crew were very thorough and pleasant. The cost was competitive and the owner was mindful of expenses.
