+ -1 moreI needed advice and he gave it. It's not that I had problems, but I just wanted some advice on how to handle things. He gave me some good advice for a good price. I would recommend him. He seems to know what he is doing and he spent time here, went into great details and gave some really good advice. I would like him to do the job for me, but I think he is busy. All jobs aren't a real good job and I can't blame him.
Description of Work: Bassani's Greensscapes Inc came out and gave me some advice in December.

+ -1 moreWhen I was shooting footage for a corporate video at my home, David helped stage a lush flower bed in my backyard, contributing baskets and potted plants and other props...all at no charge. This level of service and professionalism is an increasingly rare thing these days. We have confidently referred him to various friends and family and would be happy to share our experiences with him with any prospective new client.
Description of Work: David Bassani of Greenscapes ditched his former white collar job to devote himself to his true passion - horticulture and landscape design. His aesthetic eye and encyclopedic knowledge of all things botanical are a big bonus for his clients...especially clueless ones like us, who know they want something beautiful but aren't sure how best to achieve their vision. David was recommended to us by the garden experts at Green Thumb Nursery in Canoga Park, and has done extensive work for us over the years at our Topanga Canyon home. On numerous occasions, we've met him at local nurseries or wholesalers where he has guided us in selecting the most appropriate plants for our next landscaping project. He also does an estate "tune up" for us on a quarterly basis. He is a creative problem solver, prompt and dependable, never over promises or under delivers, and his fees are more than reasonable, approx. $75 per hour. He even brings us cuttings from his own garden and replaces nonthriving plants at no charge.
