Avsar Construction did a complete redesign / renovation of our 3 bedroom apartment. Amazing attention to details and incredibly responsive. Aside from a couple of minor hiccups (all projects of this scale will have them), they far exceed all of our expectations. Glad to have them!

Avoid at all costs. A complete nightmare to deal with from start to finish. Baris, the owner, is a pushy, compulsive liar with very selective amnesia. Complete garbage with no integrity whatsoever. I was introduced by a friend and am regretting the day I ever took his info. Initially, I referred him to do work on my gf's house (he continues to harass her staff regularly for good reviews). I asked him for a quote on my house and he was playing games with the quotes for additional work I wanted done so I asked him to table it. He kept contacting me in the following weeks urging me to do the work so I reluctantly conceded. First week on the job, and the crew showed up a whopping 2 out of 7 days. Day 2 he started his up-sell. Basically a small-ish 10-day job turned into a $26K, 2-month nightmare where I was completely displaced from my home, and that was only the beginning of my problems. Baris suddenly demanded FINAL payment on one of the work orders weeks before the the job was complete (all work was inter-related). With 2-day notice. I was staying in LA that weekend and had fallen ill so asked him to push it a day and he went off, sending me stupid and vulgar messages harassing me to meet him and give him a check. For $5K and change. 1) You're working on a $1M house -- I'm not stiffing you over $5K. 2) If your business has cash flow problems where you get so desperate over $5K that's your problem, not mine. Still, I paid the one of the "final" payments. On day of final inspection (date of course was delayed), I found my custom-made sectional covered in blankets which I happened to uncover and discovered a large stain on the arm. Owner says to me immediately, "Touch it, it's wet. Someone spilled water, but it will dry." Why cover that up?? Why not be forthcoming? Same thing for damage to an upstairs closet, among other things. Stain on sectional dried and left a mark. I contacted Baris that night and he denies every having a conversation with me about it. Next convo weeks later, he says not to worry, he will fix it. Two days before he's to arrive, he gets amnesia again. Three and a half weeks after I cut a final check (cashed of course), I'm STILL waiting for work to be completed. Was informed by owner that the small add-ons promised to me as a result of delay would NOT be honored. Needless to say, I will be filing formal complaints with Contractors State License Board, Department of Consumer Affairs, and Small Claims Court. Again, I was referred by a friend so if he treated me like this, I can only imagine the horror others have faced.

Great work! On time, professional and detailed. We dealt directly with Baris. He was polite and true to his word. The quality of the work was high. The pricing was very reasonable. I’ll be contacting him for any future work I may need.

Baris was absolutely amazing. He was so responsive when I texted with my initial questions. So easy to talk to and everything was very straight forward. Easy. Easy. He and his team did an awesome job. They were SO fast .The paint color he suggested is absolutely perfect. I trusted him completely. My next project is wanting our kitchen and bathroom cabinets painted. I will be calling him for sure when we decide to do that.

We had a leak and needed drywall and carpentry replacement. A friend introduced Avsar Construction. They showed up in a short time. Their price was reasonable and they fixed the damaged area in less than a weak. Their staff were professionally qualified and their supervisor was in full control .
