Water heater had stopped making hot water. Called and he was here an hour and a half later. Fixed it in about 10 minutes (it wasn't too complicated). Also fixed a toilet that was broken, had to go and buy parts, came immediately back. It was $150 which seemed maybe a bit steep for the work that was done but I was happy to pay it considering the quick service and response. Will definitely use again

Galvanized water supply pipes are nothing but trouble. We had been getting rusty water for quite some time, but the last straw was when they started leaking. I had called other plumbers to give me an estimate for the repipe. I got a few estimates but the biggest issue with all of the other plumbers was that they were willing to do the repipe but they were not going to patch up all the holes in the walls, ceilings, and stucco that would have to be opened up for the repipe. I called Avi Asher. He came over and gave me an estimate not only for the repipe but also for patching up all the holes that his crew would open up. His crew completed the repipe and the patching in two days. They also installed new shower valves in the two showers. The faucets in the bathrooms were old and leaking, and I had asked Avi if he would change the faucets also. He told me what kind of faucets to buy for the bathroom sinks. I gave him the new faucets when his crew came over and they changed the faucets. I also asked him to take a look at the shower drain in the upstairs bathroom. He had one of his guys open up the ceiling from below to expose the galvanized drain pipe. I asked him to replace the drain also. He charged me $250 to cut out the old drain and install a new ABS plastic drain. Quite a few things made Avi Asher stand out above the other plumbers - - He is a nice person to deal with. I had a few questions to ask him every now-and-then before the repipe job and he was prompt in answering my questions. - His crew patched all the holes they busted out in the walls, ceilings, and stucco. That was a HUGE plus. All I had to worry about was the painting. - He gives lifetime warranty on his work. He said that he stands behind his work and the lifetime warranty was for parts/materials and also for the labor. He said that if any problems arise with the repipe he would take care of it. - His crew was quick. They were done in two days - repipe, patching, everything. There were some minor issues that I noticed after the crew had left. The crew had missed patching a hole behind the water heater in the garage. Also they had left a 3/4 inch galvanized nipple sticking out of the wall next to the heater. It was tough to take out but I used some WD40 and a jumbo size channel-lock pliers to back it out. Now there was a second hole in the wall which I had to patch up. They also used a rotten piece of wood as a brace behind the new copper supply lines. I will have to replace that also. All the issues were limited to the garage, so it wasn't a big deal. What is a big deal is that no more rusty water! And water pressure is good.

The new toilet looks and works great! Avi Asher arrived onetime, worked quickly, and cleaned up and removed the old toilet.

Crew Completed the entire job in one day which included removing all old galvanized pipes and cleaning up entire site.

Overall it went flawless. I'm naturally a worrier and also being a Senior Citizen, I didn't want to be taken advantage of. Avi of Asher plumbing put everything in writing and took several of my phone calls asking about the job. It was a painless experience & I highly reccomend this Company.

Contacted the company via email through Angie's list and the company called back 2 days later. Avi made an appointment to meet the following Monday and never showed up. I would never use a company who did this even if they made amends now.

Avi returned my initial call right away and gave me the estimate right over the phone just by asking how many bathrooms I had. That was really great because I knew he was honest. So many want to come out and give the estimate. I guess so they can try to hard sale you. These prices should be pretty standard depending on the number of bathrooms you have. I know that now but I didn't in the beginning. These estimates caused alot of extra time having to be there for all the estimates. Avi and his crew showed up right on time and got to work. It was completed quicky and they cleaned everything up. The next day, the Inspector from the Dept of Housing and Community Development came by and noticed the new water heater. He informed me that It required a permit and that it needed a drip pan before he would sign off on it. I called Avi and told him what the inspector wanted and he took care of everything very promply. Avi said he didnt realize a permit was needed for a water heater. I belive it is because it is a manufactured home so the requirements are different than most homes. Avi completely understood and took care of it. What a hassle for him since the office to get the permit is in Riverside. He sent someone out to install the drip pan and the inspector signed off on it right away. I would recommend Asher to everyone. What a nice person Avi is and all of his crew is just great as well.

They did it in one day as promised and cleaned up better than any contractor I've ever worked with. Other bids were much higher in price and estimated 5 - 7 days for the same work. Where they had to open walls, in the master bath around irreplaceable original tile, nothing was broken or cracked and their patching, interior and exterior, was flawless. What's just as amazing is Avi was able to get us the fixtures we wanted, brand and style, quicker and less expensively than any supplier I tried to order through (cost of fixtures not included in price). A week later workmen from our heating & air conditioning contractor, crawling around under the house installing ducts, confirmed that Asher Plumbing had done a neat and professional job, tucking the pipes up against the flooring between the joists. I would unequivocally recommend them to anyone needing their house re-piped or a plumber.

Overall it went beautiful. They arrived on time as planned. It was a solid day of work with a foreman and 7 plumbers. Avi Asher is very communicative on the phone and in person. He was available to answer questions and give recommendations when needed. Nacho, did a wonderful job supervising and nice wall repair work. Everybody cleaned their work area. As a homeowner I do recommend being there on the day to answer questions. At the end of the day I felt very satisfied to find a great plumbing company. I love my shower, Thankyou!

I had a really good experience. They came out almost immediately and took care of the problem with in an hour. they gave recommendations on preventing the problem. And the price was reasonable for the emergency call.

Great experience having them install our tankless water heater. They are totally honest and do great work. Would use them again.

I shopped around with several different companies. They were okay, not bad. They were acceptable. It wasn't perfect but it was acceptable. They were the lowest bidder so that helped us decide to go with them because the other companies were charging a lot more.

The person who came was very professional and he gave me a competitive quote. He was right on time and was very responsive. However, I went with another company.

I called on a Thursday, was given a quote immediately over the phone and the job was scheduled for the following Monday. Avi called to confirm that morning, arrived 9:30-10:00a.m. (as scheduled) followed shortly by his team, who were courteous and professional. They promised to have the water back on by 5:00, but completed the job at 3:00-3:30. They worked quickly and cleaned up after themselves - even straightened a runner rug in the hall that had gotten moved slightly! They gave me a walk through to show me all the work they'd done and explain their installations. They took the time to show me which line/shutoff valve went to the dishwasher, which to the refrigerator water, how to tell when the pressure regulator needs replacement next time, and explained how to remove the newly installed shower hardware (since I told them the shower stall will be replaced soon). They did little extra things without asking that I appreciated, like fixing a toilet that ran, and installing an extra joint/shutoff valve when repiping the outdoor spigots, so that a sprinkler system could easily be added later. When getting estimates for this job, I had bids that were up to $4,000 more and more than a week's time. I had a hard time getting other plumbers to even call me back for a quote, but Avi was easy to reach, responsive, pleasant, and punctual in all promises. I highly recommend him and his team.

They did it in less than a day. They did it faster than they thought they would. I was quite impressed with how quickly it was done and how nicely they repaired the walls. The price was reasonable and it was cheaper than we thought it would be. The workers were polite and courteous.

My husband and I are doing a complete remodel and our own general contractors...we hired Avi(Asher plumbing)because of the good feedback from Angie's List. He had only had a few reports(6)but there were all positive. It truly was something to see the plumbers come to the house and work as a plumbing finely tuned machine...they were at the house early and worked through out the day to get the job done. They ran into a few problems that they solved and didn't charge extra...stuck to the bid. Avi returned calls promptly and was willing to come back an tweak a few things that we needed with no problem. He was easy to reach and has a lifetime guarantee on his work.

They arrived on time. Brought a double crew to speed completion. Worked fast and worked clean. Appropriately identified some problems found along the way in our 100 year old home, and came up with solutions. Only problem: they moved so fast that they tossed out some old plumbing I would have liked to keep as a souvenir.

I had three bids. They were the cheapest of the three but they said they could do it in one day. The others said it would take two. They arrived at 8:45 and covered the floors with drop clothes. I believe there were six workers. They finished by 3:30. They cleaned up every thing and repaired the stucco and drywall. The next day I noticed that they had changed a fitting in the kitchen and I didn't like the way it looked. They came out and replaced it the way I wanted it. Everything works very well and looks very nice.

Very prompt, courteous and efficient. Quoted 1 day and were done in 6 hours. Even though I asked for a few changes, they were very accommodating and did it for the quoted price. The quote was $700 lower than similar quotes. Cleaned up everything and patched the holes in the walls expertly (even patched some I had made)!

They had a very well organized crew. The speed at which they worked was remarkably quick. Each man had a specific part of the job to handle and seemed quite experienced in their trade. I felt they were courteous and that I received a fair price for the materials and labor involved.

Great work, repiped 4 bedroom, 3 bath house in one day! Patched all holes, light sanding, and ready to paint!
